Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. Hey guys! Another update! 😃 This week is going to be the last one that I feed the plants and after that I'm going to just flush them for just one week. I took photos during the middle of the week just to see how trichomes were developing and there are more ambar! I want the top colas to be about 50% ambar and 50% cloudy while the ones below 30% ambar and 70% cloudy and I think I'll be able to reach that with ease. Besides that this week was relaxing, no big issues! And I've been removing more fan leaves so when the right moment arrive it'll be easier to clean the plant! And that way I can get some extra development in lower colas. The smell is strong now compared to other weeks (it's been getting stronger every week!) 😲 PD: The question is still up! OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

During week 12 the plants are in their 5th week of flowering since the switch to 12/12 hours of light/darkness. All plants develop nice flower crowns now and the top-buds start to get encrusted with trichomes. Especially the MAC from Tropical Trees seeds from Hawaii has already an impressive layer of trichomes on top. All 12 plants have a nice healthy green color, which shows the BIO NOVA nutrients work GREAT! 💪😎 My two SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are doing an EXCELLENT job and are running on 100% power now (=3 GREEN lights on the dimmer ON). This cycle is going AWESOME until now and I cant wait for the buds to get bigger...

Guys i swear it’s like my girls are awakened after a few changes and i love to share with who interested about it. One of them is put something under your fabric pots in outdoor growing to keep your bottom of your pot a little bit wet and don’t worry about water sitting in there because there will be no water after just a few hours. Die Woche 2 der Blüte haben alle 3 Ladys ordentlich an Höhe zugelegt. Alle haben sehr schöne Blütenansätze die auch schon einen lieblichen Duft verströmen💚 Mit dem Wetter hatte ich relativ Glück. Das Unwetter zog hier vorbei, nur 2 Tage ohne Sonne und wenig regen. Was aber auch weniger gießen mit sich brachte. Jetzt stehen die Ladys wieder seit 3 Tagen in der Sonne und entwickeln sich prächtig. Es gab 1× an Tag31/10F 1g/L BioEnhancer von GreenHouseFeeding. Je Ladys gab es ca 500ml mit einem ph-Wert von 6.7. Ansonsten hab ich die Töpfe angehoben und nach Bedarf etwas nachgegossen. Pablo Escobar is coming to a end. She has some nice frosty colas on her. She has a fruity smell with a pine undertone. Her feed was pretty strong and it probably effected my final yield. She will still provide several ounces once she is processed. I have not has a good sativa in some time. She smells very good. Quarter Pounder and Skywalker are probably over due for final flushing. Squanch Queen is doing very well and looking to go 9 to 10 weeks. King tut and Alien Technology doing well. However, i did a spray of insecticidal soap due to seeing a couple small holes in a few king tut leaves. Next day plant was shocked and lost tons of leaves to burn. This plant did this once before with the same spray, the others no problem and didnt connect the two til now. Will let her veg back to health and flip to flower once shes healthy again and the autos are done.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. Added DIY supplemental co2. Using water sugar and yeast. Buds on the caramel cream auto are getting fat and just starting to produce red hairs. Trichome coverage is slightly above average. I’m hoping it’s got about 3.5 weeks to go. We shall see. Been only giving it plain ph water as I gave it mild nutrient burn but not too bad. Whenever it gets too hot in there I turn on the AC for a bit and keep the ac on through out the night. Other than that not much to say. See u next week

Hey everyone 😀. On flowering day 59 both came into the darkroom and on flowering day 61 both were harvested :-). Both were very easy to trim 👍. Both of them already smell very tasty but more on the last update because this is only the short intermediate update :-). The trimmed buds were laid out on nets so that they can now dry at 62% humidity for 8-14 days before fermenting with 62% boveda packs in the jars :-). D85/FD57 - Should probably put this week down as a "Harvest Week" but hopefully some more to save, even though it will be smaller stuff - right now with the dead loss, everything counts! Really sad too as the plant was looking great!!! Some nice pink flowers in there, just a real pity about its mold resistance!!! :/ Would maybe consider this one more time for a grow when I get the new extraction in but yeah, disappointed is not the word! On the plus side, tent humidity has dropped a fair bit!!! With the work last night culling the Cookies, I was lazy tonight, just did an add back (Didnt clean the Wilma out like I do every week). Put in at normal ratio's but as the base water was EC0.7 (Rather than 0.2), the same recipe took me up to 1.5 (I should have adjusted but seeing as I dont know whats out, i'd rather give enough of whats needed and just dilute through the week (even if daily!!!). Expecting water consumption to drop now with the cookies halved in size and now just waiting on the rest ripening! Lets hope this is the last pain til I get this tent emptied out and cleaned down for a winter run!!! Anyway, happy growing all!!! 💪

Super proud of the way the manifold is turning out. So symmetrical! Between now and the next update I’ll be doing some defoliating. Get rid of some of the lower fans, create some airflow up top, and possibly remove the lowest set of growth tips on each of my main stems. Plant is flourishing and healthy but those leaves could maybe be more vibrant. Might be time to start introducing nutes to the reservoir. Edit: Added a video of the plant after defoliating. Ended up removing the bottom 2 nodes of growth except for the outer fan leaf on the top one. Also moved the soft ties up one node and adjusted where they’re anchored so they pull the stems apart more. Can’t wait to see what she looks like in a week!

Burn in progress, give them Vera and Alg a mic help in that situat. I forgot that i put 2 biotabs in soil when i peepare my soil. Do top dress with 20 g of Guano powder in week 2 of flower.So that was to much, because the soil is Guanokalong soil mix and have 350 g of powder inside. OVERDOSE. STILL LEARNING using Guano many components they have. but i love the sugar on buds and taste at end. ANY one using Guanokalong produ?

Was another pretty good week in the books both in and out of the tent. More and more branches are being weighted down by colas, and had to be tied up. UKBS 1 continues to frost up like a winter morning. I'm doing my best to keep airflow moving in the tent, mainly in and around UKBS 1 as it's the denser of the two. Carl 1 was having a little bit of an issue but I believe it's been mostly resolved as of now as I've given it a pure watering in between the latest feedings. Outside (inside, most of the time. haha) The plants are doing quite well, save for the high winds that magically spring up whenever they go outside. At this point I'm basically forced to purchase a greenhouse or something of that sort so they don't blow away completely. Timelapse is out for the week, as per usual. EOS Rebel T5 shots will probably come tomorrow or the next day. -6/18/2021 - Keep fuckin' up the watering schedule. Carl 1 is not pleased. These kinds of whoopsies shouldn't be happening in flower, especially not this late. Gotta get on top of things. - In other news, took some shots with the EOS Rebel T5. Hope you'll enjoy. -6/23/2021 - Built a greenhouse kinda thing. Should keep the wind off the plants well enough while allowing a wee bit for airflow. Hoping all goes well.
