After 7 weeks of slow grow under LED (i had to wait for my flowering room to be free), the first week of CMH. I intend to let them get used to the new light for one week before launching flowering.

Day 130 – Harvest Day | Sweet Seeds – Gorilla Girl Today marks the official harvest of our Gorilla Girl by Sweet Seeds – exactly 130 days from seed. The plant finished strong, with dense, resin-covered buds and a very intense aroma that exploded in the final days. Based on her structure and the weight of the colas, we’re expecting a solid yield. Final Techniques: Last 2 weeks: Only clean, purified water (flush stage) Last 3 days: Complete darkness Twice during the dark period: Placed 2 kg of ice directly on the soil The effect was noticeable — right after the ice melted, the smell intensified dramatically, and the trichomes looked even more frosty and swollen. Throughout the entire grow, she was fed with the Xpert Nutrients line, and the results speak for themselves — healthy growth, strong structure, and top-quality flowers. All has gone well for the urkle this week. She pushes close to 1.5m and is stacking flowers. Big thanks to lassos for putting me right on my high pH run off. It was the golden tree I used. After advice I removed it and decreased base feed pH to 5.8. A week on and run off has settled and progress appears on track. Thanks for looking. Coco is the bomb...💪👍 Grow well🌿🌱🌼 Stay safe😷😷

This week went pretty well, but I don't have much time for an update as I literally spent all day trimming up the wedding cheesecake, and now I am heading out of town to coach a baseball tournament. She is growing some nice thick colas, and I am still feeding her the same. *If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. Week 10 (1/12-18) Day 65 (1/12) She's getting closer and closer. When I scope her, she's mostly cloudy, with just a few ambers scattered in. I'll check her again later in the week. Her pot was still fairly heavy this morning, so she's set for the day. Day 66 (1/13) She was ready for a drink today. I watered her with some molasses and Mammoth P added in, pH'd to ~6.5. When she's ready again, I'll feed her one last time then it will be water only (maybe some molasses) until I chop her. Day 68 (1/15) Well I put the little clip on microscope on my phone and checked her trichomes. To my surprise, there seems to be a good amount of amber now. I think I'm going to call it. I'll cut her lights today and give her 48 hours in the dark, so will chop her down on Sunday (day 70). I'll give her a big drink of cold water and put some ice around her stem when I shut her down. I dry in paper bags and my last plant dried pretty quickly, as I didn't give her any water for awhile before chopping. I'd rather have a longer drying period, so I will water her up before she goes into the dark. Her last feeding was day 62 (1/9), so I'm hoping it has been long enough to work the nutes out by the time she's done.

The NTfucks are looking great! Even the more rigid one got looser, so it's easier to work with it, it also showed signs of pre-flower, I guess it's because I stressed it quite a lot last week. I'm really looking forward to seeing them flower!

What up fam, weekly update on these lovely ladies. They're growing great so far. Seeing new upwards growth and new leafs with zero signs of deficiency. I started adding 2ml per gallon of the Athena Grow A & B and 2ml of General Hydroponics CalMag this week to see how they respond and all in all its been Happy Growing.

This week has been all smooth sailing, I have adjusted my feeding practices a bit and stuck with the 12/12 light. The only main difference is I have moved the light higher and cranked the intensity, this means I can get more coverage. LSD-25; I can not get enough of the colour on her, my last run wasn't great and I had a not so purple pheno so this is a pleasant change. I am thinking 2 - 3 more weeks on nutes then another couple weeks flushing till chop day Lemon OG Haze; Plenty of growth, almost a bit more than I wanted but the sativa genes are in full force. Plenty of bud sites and I am going to plan on 6 weeks till she's good.

Runoff ph is a bit high this time. Don’t know why. Around 6.8. Average ph going in is 6.0. Also the big fan leaves on ice cream cakes are kind of strange shaped. Will see how they are going to look later.
