Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now almost halfway through flowering which is 4 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster last week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also switched the Medic Grow light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of last week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 44" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 40" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 tent is starting to really fill up and they are just now starting to smell. I was out of town all weekend so I was unable to make a time lapse video but I will update next week. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. After 52 days we harvested because we want that runtz stopping their seed Production. Hopefully there will be Not to much seeds. Now they will dry in the tent for 10 days some buds have many seeds others have fewer. The runtz didn't smell good at first, rather disgusting, but after 10 days of drying and 2 weeks of curing, it developed its full flavour. We are very satisfied for our first grow. The BruceBanner was luckily spared pollination. We have already learnt something for our next run… :)

These cali genetics are blowing my mind 🤯 super sticky, very frosty rock dence buds with extra strong smells. All 3 strains are 10 out of 10, very impressed. Done last defoliation few days ago, preparing for the harvest so it's much easier. Stalks are super fat, same as buds. Got big surprise from Atami, plant food, and many extras. Crazy. * Starting this week as the others, watering everyday, no deficiencies. * We put out the net and start to filling the canopy with light LST. * Raised the lights higher from 30cm --> 45cm. * Nuts : Gemma crystalize NPK 1 feed per week, rest of waterings with the other formulations.☝️ * In the half of this week, all looks normal. * Some pistils (starting from the previous week) on canopy turning amber, maybe a little earlier so we raised the lights (25k - 43k lux) to avoid any light/heat stress.

Harvested Banana #1 she had stopped growing and her trichomes were ready her wet weight was 184 grams and dry weight 53 grams. Banana #2 and Skywalker are still going they are on water only from here on. They both got 5 liters of ph water on day 80.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. This is my second time around. Out of nostalgia, I opted for Golden Sands by Humboldt Seeds. Twenty years ago, that strain got the whole housing estate high. For a while, it looked like only one of the five seeds would sprout. In the end, a second one decided to fight for life, too. At least they’ll have more room to themselves.

En cuanto a las plantas las veo verde sano, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta cubre todas las necesidades de cada ejemplar. Las flores empezaron a formarse, por el momento todo correcto, os dejé también alguna novedad y un cambio en la sala, agradecer al equipo de Mars hydro por el nuevo TSW2000. (los últimos 5 años cultive solo con los leds de esta marca)los cuales probé, TS600, TS1000, TS3000, TSL2000. Ein herzliches Hallo an alle! Wir beschreiben die Vorblüte bzw. Blüte Woche 1 Sie hat ordentlich an Masse und Höhe zugelegt. Das Blätterdach entwickelt sich schön. Sie wächst sehr gut! Blattnager mögen sie noch immer besonders :-( Aufgrund des Wetterumschwungs musste ich die Düngemengen wie auch das Gießverhalten erhöhen. Das Düngen alle zwei Tage sagt ihr sehr zu, an den anderen Tagen verwende ich PH-angepasstes Wasser. I'd say she is ready to kick her room mates to the curve. This girl is getting biiiiig. 6/8/22 Today my girl is really getting her stretch on ad lovinglife. Her root issues have completely resolved with her peroxide routine. (I cup in the tote Daily and spray roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide to control root rot and fungus gnats. 6/9/22 Not alot of change today. Week 7 here we go They starting to show some colors as they are getting frostier and frostier 😇 tricomes still all very young and clear but getting there 🤫😈 Day 46 update : selective defoliation, they needed more air and light going around.
