Well, this harvest didn’t go perfectly — my main cola got hit with bud rot, and I had to toss about 80% of the plant. Kind of glad I went with a perpetual harvest this time. Not sure if the rot started inside the tent or if I just didn’t pay enough attention during drying. Anyway, what’s left is honestly the best weed I’ve ever grown — maybe even the best I’ve ever had. Not because it’s the strongest, but because of the insane terps and the incredibly pleasant effect. The terps stayed exactly the same as they were in late flower: full-on lime pie and funk. I love it. Absolutely no mango in there, but who cares — if you’re into terps, this one is a benchmark for me. The effect is best described as a true hybrid: uplifting and creative, but with a relaxed, calm body high. No headache, no anxiety, no couchlock — just a perfect balance. I’m completely in love. This is solid proof that genetics are the single most important factor in a grow. Well done, Mephisto. Also, this stuff stinks! Absolute epitome of “loud.” I literally have to burp my jars with the window open because of how strong it is.

Gave the photos a haircut today. Removed some fan leaves and lower branches that wouldn't amount to much. Gave the branches to my horse because he loves them! Tried enticing the ducks with fan leaves but they weren't having any of it. They prefer lettuce, not "The Devil's Lettuce"😂 I added in a little 5-1-1 fish fertilizer to my feeding regimen as well. Still picking off inchworms. Hurricane Dorian came through yesterday and gave us a good bit of rain and wind, so while the other girls were tucked under the roof, including the autos, Aubergine was at the end of the bench. I'm sorry, but I had to prioritize the others, I feel like they're at greater risk for mold. It got down to 49 F last night, which means it's really Fall now!

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Week 5 for the Critical and Sour Ds and Week 4 for the Lemon Pie, Blackberry and Gorilla Zkittlez. Fed 2 tbl of Coast of Maine, Stonington Plant Food at the beginning of Week 5 and end of 4 for the younger plants.

Day 96 Had to tie more branches up! They’re starting to get really heavy so they’re bending. Looking good!! Day 97 Nothing to report 🤙🏼 Day 98 Really starting to see the hairs turn brown. Getting close! Day 99 Brown hairs developing and starting to curl in slightly. This is definitely going to be 2 separate harvests. The one plant (which I believe is a different strain) is going to be ready much quicker. Day 100! Finally got a good picture of the trichomes! All clear still. They have a while to go! Day 101 Starting to really watch the brown hairs closely. They say once 70-80% of the brown hairs have curled in, that’s the best time to harvest. I will mix that train of thought with keeping an eye on the trichomes to see when they start to get cloudy and I should be able to harvest at the right time. Day 102 Added some more water this morning. It’s working out to be about 5 gallons of water needed every 3 days. Going to continue to just add to the reservoir and once I think they are close I’ll do a ripen week and then a 3 day flush. Kapow!

Got my growing tent finally.

July 27: starting the second week of force flowering by providing 10 h darkness in garage plus ‘2 bonus hours’ from the 730 nm far red light. The use of the far red light is like getting a 26 hour day. So 12 h dark plus 14 h sunlight. Anyway, she is stretching a bit and clearly starting to flower. Looks good. New growth is pretty yellow so did a foliar spray of Epsom salts to give her Mg and S. July 30: great conditions the last few days and she is growing great. Mostly just pHed water lately to avoid over-doing it on the nutes. Looks healthy and happy. Aug 2: watered with some molasses and about 1 tbsp per gallon of Epsom salts (MgSO4). Still doing 10 h in dark garage and using the 730 nm far red light to get an extra 2 h in dark mode.

Day 105 The Pinus Contorta Purple Matcha is going crazy with the smell, 1 or 2 more weeks for more trichomes to turn amber. The Fresh Pressed Runtz is doing good too but she's far from being ready (on paper 10 weeks vs the 8/9 of the purple matcha).

Last days for most of them - only Strawberry Cough will stay longer - she is super hungry and I can not keep up with feeding her - most of leaves are yellow now. 😱 The rest - four plants will be harvested on the weekend - 2-3 days from now and frozen - I'll be making bubble hash and fresh frozen live resin from them in the following weeks 😈 Trichomes are mostly milky with some amber starting - ideal ripeness and time to freeze those glands

Hey Cannafam Happy Tuesday, Well i've been looking closely at this gal all week and decided that she dosen't need any training at the moment, Her branches have just the right amount of spacing and seem to come out at good angles and her internodal spacing is also spot on for minimum hassle, this strain has a beautiful structure so im gonna leave her alone, but maybe do some defoliation later. Due to another week of good, dry and Sunny weather this gal has continued to thrive 😁 Tempretures have been slightly less but still hot,Wednesday 28c daytime 20c night, Thursday -Saturday 26c daytime 18 night and Sunday -Today 24/15 nighttime. This gal has been lapping up the Sun with no stress.Humidity has remained in the 70s and daylight hours are at 15 hrs 56 minutes. Shes has had good growth upwards this week, but this has slowed and she is now concentrating her energy mainly on flower production. The base feed of Atami has an NPK ratio of 6/3/4 and as this is geared slightly towards Nitrogen so ive decided to suplement the Phosphorus and Potassium. For this i'll be drip feeding in some Plagron Green Sensation at a low dose which has a PK ratio of 8/9, il start administering this every other watering and will monitor for any signs of excess. Shes had her first feed of this yesterday and we'll see how she goes. Flower development has now kicked in properly with healthy lookin pistils, no real smell yet, but the tiniest hint of darker colour in the middle of some of the budsites so i think she should change colour as we go on 💜💜💜 Overall shes lookin strong with some great potential, lets see what the next week brings 😊 Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a nice chilled week ✌️💚

Flipped to 12/12 at day 43. Raised light-intensity from 60 to 90 %. Now +70% of the net is filled and i can see potential to make it an evenly shaped bowl full of fruits:-) The deep, dark colour has turned to a juicy green, shoots everywhere....... everything fine but two little things: 1) run-off-pH is a bit high...... 6.6-6.9. will feed rather acidic next time.... 2) Main Colas get a bit tall..... will supercrop them as soon, as the rest of the cannopy is organzied to a clean scrog. Nutritionwise i lowered N, raised K and gave an extra P-shot (0,05 g/L BLOSSOM-BOOST) on days 43 and 44. Day 45 fed pH 5.8 - readings immediatly dropped to 6.3 to 6.5 👍 Vigorous stretch.....!!! Mounted some more hooks to get the scrog even - works perfectly now! +80% of the net is filled......and the colas in the corner almost make plants of their own - i will supercrop them, as soon as they don't stretch any more. Day 46 fed pH 6.1 today..... readings still good (average 6.4) took out some more leafs today, to give a little more light to young shoots. Smell is getting stronger, but no visible signs of flowering yet.

The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. Plants looking healthy and they are starting to form strong buds by the looks of it . Some of them have startet to have brown leaves, but the bud looks healthy. Ive put the lights from 600w to 400w since they are suffering from high light and temp. Now the temp should be 24°to 26°.
