So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Glookies #1 gave off a really high ppm reading. Don’t think it was accurate. Tap water: 220ppm, 8.7 pH + HydroGuard: 1ml/gallon = 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 28ml Mixture: 230ppm, 6.2 pH, 68℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1: 1320ppm/1090ppm, 6.7 pH JB#2: 1115ppm/885ppm, 6.5 pH GC#1: 3540ppm (seems too high) GC#2: 2270ppm/2040ppm, pH 6.5 AP#1: 2410ppm/2180ppm, 6.4 pH AP#2: 1600ppm/1370ppm, pH 6.6 Well, the first week of flower is in the books. All but one plant is starting to grow pistils. These plants are getting a little out of control being cramped in this 4x4. I defoliated just before flipping to flower, and they needed another touch-up. I'm a little worried this will cause me to have to do frequent touch-ups or kill one or two plants and create some space. I'm leaning more toward killing 1 or 2 plants, rather than risk all of them getting overly stressed from too many defoliations. I completely underestimated how much these Cannabis plants would grow, especially once they started to stretch. I'm going to start saving the water that is collected through the dehumidifier. No problems this week, succeeded in restraining myself with the water input, and they really liked that, sadly leaves damages done 2 weeks ago due to over watering is showing spots and looks like it will turn necrotic soon, but new growth are undamaged and seems to support a good growth so far. I make sure she is not receiving too intense light radiation and fed a light feed of old timer grow and some Epsom salt. From the beginning of flowering she has developed light pink coloured trichomes, and now you can see them more and more , so pretty with flash on in the dark, Misty G shinning with pink hues, lovely!

Nice easy week just added some Bud Start by future harvest to the mix of nutrients. Little buds are stating now! Can not wait to see how they start looking over the next few weeks!

Added the first screen into the tent. Decided to kick Big Mumma out because she just wasn't growing any taller and the other plants were really over growing her. For the new setup I used kitty litter trays and mesh to sit the plants on - each plant gets its own tray so I can track runoff EC individually and I cut little flaps in the mesh so I can wet vac the runoff. With this setup I shouldn't need to move the plants out of the tent until harvest. For the scrog I just tied some builders rope around the poles of the tent and tied the trellis netting off with training wire. I've been manipulating the growth just to try and fill out the whole screen, I also gave them a good haircut because I plan on flipping them soon, don't want them to outgrow the tent.

Day 57 26/08/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Day 59 28/08/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today, 1.5L with little to no run off. Day. 61 30/08/24 Friday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with Plagron products. Picture and videos now 📸💚 Day 63 01/09/24 Sunday ( end of week) De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. 2L no run off but moist container all around. She's now full flower mode 💪💚

A very nice week of growth. Light schedule has been flipped so I gave them a dose of organic grow at an EC of 0.9. I am pulling them flat across the net atm and hope with the stretch to fill out the net quite nicely . Thanks for looking. Stay safe 😷😷 Grow well 🌿🌼🙏🏻

Coming to the end of the week she is looking really great. The the 4 lines are filling in really great. side branching on all of them. She got up to 10" which is great. Pistil production is not really picking up yet. She looks very promising.

Day 3 of life for this little lady. Really excited to run the new fast buds tester Russian autoflower. She is a happy life living lady so far. Let’s see what she has to show us.

Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. Did another defoliating this week as well as lollipopped them up another node. I feel it helps mature the lower flower sites and allows plenty of airflow though the leafs. I introduced bloom nutes as well as P&K. All in all Happy Growing

Wow! She has been upgraded to a 4x4 tent with 600w of flowering lights (2x Mars Hydro TSL2000; 300w each) and she is LOVING IT! Continuing on the Early Bloom nute schedule and holding a super-solid pH/EC through the end of this week. Her uptake has started to slow, so I'm thinking that she is close to being done with stretch. She is definitely going crazy with buds as it looks to me like they swell more each day. I've been very happy with her growth so far; impressed even. I'm just hoping that the increased lighting doesn't cause her to herm due to the close distance. Seedling Days 0-6 Veg Day 1/D7 Days 0-7 Growing very strong. Really fast turn around. In veg on the 7th day. Is amazing. 30% in growth rate speed. Healthy & Happy. Holding her own in very hot conditions. RH is 60%. As my tent temp is between 31-35c (thankfully stomatas are still open. As co2 intake hasn't slowed. And, they're pushing through the heat. Good week. Light is great. It's rapid seedling growth is very impressive with the right co2 in a tent that just kisses the lights edges. Perfect umol 1125-1437. This lady is about 80cm away as my light is 100% for the 2 late flowering plants and then it'll be lowered to 70% in the next wk. And lower the distance then. No stretch, no mutos. Good healthy girl thus far. Good week. Diet Full plagron natural line. Shes in her 11L pot with all the extras from their line. And a few more for flowering. Their new Power Bud. And the norm + PK booster. Everything needed will be plagron. Except calmag (I like to control that separately either with cal powder or Epsom salt. Adding both when one is needed. Well, its not needed. Generally I rarely have cal issues. Co2 Jargin. (Not an advised read if you've no interest in co2) Co2 levels are kept within this level. But, I've set on delayed timing. As I need to make sure my plants are eating. So instead of a constant set co2 level. They're eating the level drops as low as 750min 800 (80% when it is dropped before its raised) and this way. I can tell my plants are eating. Its a method of co2 growing. Feed/eat/eat/feed. Its served me well. Saves on co2. But self application can be a bitch so 80% of the times its on fuzzy logic and its resets itself (this hmmmm. Hard to know when your plant is eating. I'll have to get a co2 monitor i can check on my phone. That way, I'll know how often co2 is injected. There's no count. You could of of units used. But, the math on a 10L tank per squirt, (im not that smart) nor would I even attempt it. Yes a co2 calculator can be used. But, that does not account of areas of the tent were the co2 rests on a low level. Co2 intake of the plants/how much they eat. There is a limit I've noticed. In late flowering plants after 10hrs of high co2 use. The intake drops of by about 90%. With autos, they'll eat forever. But id 8 fems and after 10hrs of solid co2 intake 200 ppm every 10m was going down and then late into the cycle they'd eat 200ppm in an hr. So, I'm learning. To know when my plants are eating and not, is just a gift alone. Not having to wait days, to notice an issue. But, it is very demanding. Nutrient 2x-3x the norm and 1-1.5L for fully grown plants twice a day so 2-3L , of which one needs to be nutrients every other day. Lights SE5000 seed-harvest. And this pheno has loved every umol from this beauty. So thankful to Bella for this chance to run a high powered light that has great capability for co2 (you don't need 1000w lights) for 3x3. This spectrum is proven itself everyday the plants co2 intake overall improved by 1/3rd possibly more. (Past test plants were under light as co2 rec) big improvement just finishing off my other plants. The fade alone is stunning. And the push these girls are doing from 50-30% faster across the board speaks for itself. Veggin plants in its 1st week.
