I finally had a chance to try out the Skullcap solo cup that I grew out after finding it was female. This plant is very crystally and has a dark purple look from the leaves. Ill definitely need to maintain a 10*F temp swing from day to night temps. Everything is moving along nicely on the screen and new sump pump is working great. Changing res everytime i go through a full add back of fresh water, which should be in the next 2-3days.

The girls are loving their new home and enjoying the heatwave we are experiencing here in Ontario. There was a big rainfall yesterday to break the heat so that was nice treat. I did spray them with a neem oil soapy mixture as I found a few bugs on the underleaves. Could have been aphids but I'm not 100% sure. Also found a few leaves that were munched on by Japanese Beatles. I've gotten rid of 2 of those Beatles already but seems to be the time of the season as they are all over my veggie garden too. I'll probably move them closer to my garden beds next to some companion plants. Maybe it'll help with the bugs.

Do-si-dos is a bit behind the other ladies as this strain will take an extra week to finish, but she's also packing on size, frost and stickyness. Week 3 of veg. And within a couple of days of the changes, they all hit their stride in earnest. We fim’d mid-week and they all bounced back quickly despite some cuts being a little on the long side. Approx. 24 days of veg. And they’ve now been flipped to flower. So far, the system has proven impressive despite a failure of our run off pump. Just a cheap bilge pump that was doomed to fail and has since been replaced with something a little more durable. We’ve got some trademark NL variegation showing now and they all stretch from the second node very similarly to the SB. Seems as though we’ve got a good gene mix here but the proof will be in the bud pudding. Should have the males picked out and culled within a week or so. Until then - all is extremely well in this tent👌👍.

Day 59 - Seems since ropping up the res with nutrients the girls have taken well to it. They've started to fatten up considerably and are showing some nice colours. They are hard and sticky.. yield looks well on the first pheno. Day 60 - plants are getting on well, the EC is dropping which lets me know the plants are utilising the nutrients, pH slightly rising which again is a good sign. Leaves are changing colour too. I'll see what happens over the next few days, she should start to fade soon. Won't start flusing yet as she still has more to give. Stay tuned Day 63 - Girls getting on well, strong gassy smell from one of the phenos (left) and really sweet candy like aroma from the second pheno (right) actually smells so dank! 😄 Other thsn that, feeds have been dropped.. currently sitting around 0.5 EC. pH 5.8.. girls seem to like it there but I'd like it a little higher (6.0). They put on a lot of size from one day to the other which was nice to see. Can't complain really, I'll continue for now letting the EC drop and do a res change with plain RO water and let the plants flush fir a couple days. Planning for a day 70 harvest. Stay tuned

I feel like the buds are to developed for me to be pruning off lower buds and makes me feel like i should have pruned beginning of week4 __________

I was flushing all the plants since August 9. You can see in the videos with de microscope ( I really try my best, but it was pretty difficult) the trichomes looks cloudy and some of them looks amber. Maybe in the videos you can't see it because my hand was really shaky. August 17: all the plants were in dark. August 18: i cleaned all the plants, buds, leafs, everything..., spraying water to remove the rests of potasic soap. Today august 18, during the nigth, i'm going to harvest all the ladies. In the past 3 days i didn't watering the plants and the smell was stronger. August 19: Before dry -Critical Kush: 150g -Red dwarf: 60g -Syrup (2 plants): 270g -Lemon (4 plants): 570g

Attempted a kind of mainline technique again, this time the plants have really responded to it, and have exploded with new growth after every watering. Last time i tried mainlining i stunted the growth badly (See "RQS Blue Cheese Fem" diary). I have never seen a plant respond so well to watering though, its amazing, i notice new growth within hours of watering, every time so far!

~Update~ Hello everyone! I'm excited to see progress with the girls. I'm going to re-pot them soon (5 gallon fabric pots). The lst is working like a charm too! I do have a question, is it normal to smell dank stank this soon? My garage smells awesome! And there are no buds, I'm honestly surprised by this, just a thought. 05/17 - received last "week 4" nutrient mix. Next watering will introduce overdrive. Buds are looking a little smaller than expected - especially that the Northern Lights is a 6 to 7 weeks. Will most likely be pushing right to 7 maybe 8. 05/24 - May have mislabeled Bubblegum and Northern lights; Based on the "bubbled gum" being clearly more mature than the other 2 and I had some seed dropping issue I thought I had cleared up. It is what it is - but one plant has much more orange hairs than the other 2, and I had 1 "fast version" The Northern Lights. Top nugs on "Bubblegum" are nice and tight, fed last nutrients on 05/24 - will start flush on next watering. Trichomes seems to be clouding up - generally speaking. The "northern lights" and Pink Berry will keep on AN feed schedule - possibly to 9 weeks. (there's virtually no browning hairs at the start of week 6).
