day 0 - gave this seed a dark place in my room to germinate and also used a little Ph down to get from 7,5 down to 6. 230PPM after about 17 hours of soaking in the glass i gave the seed into a jiffy. day 1 - because i had still 2 more of those seeds i think its better to just use them now and germinate them all together and then choose the strongest for myself. thats why we are at day 1. i just need one of them to germinate right now and the seeds are already 3 years old. i think one or maybe even 2 might not germinate because i just stored them in room temperature. we will see! day 5 - the seed wich has beed touching water 22 hours early has now shown his first sings of life above the soil, so i am trusting into the other 2 that they might also still follow so i can share a plant :) day 6 - she has a sister! she has grown 2cm+ and the seed has been stuck in the jiffy so everything perfect for the first one. day 7 - the seedling on the right is now also not growing only inside the soil anymore. the third seed was sadly a fail but i am happy with 2/3 after wrong storage.

Things are looking good. I'm in a bit of a time crunch so I think I'm going to harvest early. Sometime this week probably, just shy of 8 weeks. Cool strain to grow. Very interesting calyx formations at the crowns. I dried a couple small buds and threw them in my vape a few days later and the terpenes seem great. Can't wait to see how it tastes fully cured. I'm going to wash and decarb the buds before curing them, and I've never done that before, so I'll post that here too. Thanks to everyone who read and commented! Happy growing!

Week 6

For this week, since its second week of bloom, will give it a P boost to the 1st gen mother to make sure she knows it's time to switch gears and flower. So taking out Flora Bloom and added dry Koolbloom which is 1-42-22 450PPM and also added 100 PPM of Flora Grow and 100 of CaMg for my main macro/supplement. Will be doing silica every other week and Hydro guard every week (since I found brown slime) Will resume with Flora Bloom next week. Been only doing Hydro for cloning and vegging so its my first time encountering brown Slime. Anyone know how I can get rid of it? What I know... - Need to lower PH to closer to 5-5.5 from 6.0 - Added Hydro Guard to fight slim - Minimize Air Stone duration - Been having it on pretty long because I have one large pump and I use it to brew Compost tea for my organic grow. - Need to minimize light penetration to resi - I have a perforated plastic cover laying around the house and I have been using that to cover the resi and sometime I even forget to put it on. Anything else? I run totally chemical nutes from GH Flora Series. And I have been sharing the PH and PPM meter with my organic nuets which I brew for 36 hours before use. Maybe some of that got contaminated thru that? Cause I have been using the same bucket system (without res) to raise my mothers for almost 7 months already and never encounter any slim before. I think I finally understand what tops are LOL: So please correct me if I am wrong... What I understand: - All tops large or small will "stretch" at the first weeks of flowering - Most of the "stretch" only occurs at the tops - The "stretch" will determine the length of that bud - The "stretch" should be as high as possible BUT with short distances between the NEW internodes that develop during that period. for a large and dense bud. - Don't get confused with stretch that cannabis experience under low light. End of week 6 and things are really ramping up now! First couple pics on this week where taken 4 days after the middle of week 5 pics on the previous week and there is a huge difference and I also got in just before the HPS came on to snap these pics and video so you can see them much better then under my HPS pics taken on day 40 into flowering also in this weeks diary. These girls are not messing around, giant buds everywhere and no signs of them slowing down anytime soon...lol we might be looking at more then 8-9 weeks of flowering I’m thinking at this point. Still got 1 ugly plant eating her leaves but I’m thinking now it’s just my lower nutrient doses making this happen. It’s a really slow progression so far, but I’m loosing a lot of guard leaves up top on the one, but she is still got the biggest buds....hmmmm just gonna let her go and see what happens. Well we finally reached the end. The last week was more cruise control. Just trying to remove the big fan leaves that's blocking any flowers. The trichomes looking kinda ready but still acceptable. During the last few days I maintained a daytime Humidity of around 60 and nighttime of 55. Temperatures are between 73 degrees and 67 degrees. Two days before chop they got 48 hrs of dark and 3 days of no water to add to the stress. After the 48hrs darkness all the ladies Came out extra frosty. Loving the change of hues on the blue gelato. The vanilla Kush is very oily and very very strong smell. Not a strong smell coming off the OrangeGelato though. The green gelato has a creamy smell.

While in the dark I maintained a temperature of 65-68℉ and a RH of 40%. After three days in the dark I removed the Zkittlez Auto and all I can say is WOW! All of the flowers on the Zkittlez were just covered in trichomes and it had a super strong sweet/fruity aroma that hit me right in the face!😍 I cut the Zkittlez and hung her in two sections as the flowers were huge, and I wanted to make sure that there wasn't going to be any issues with air circulation around them possibly causing issues. It's wintertime here now so I took advantage of the low temp's and RH hanging the Zkittlez Auto in my attic. I sealed off a section of the attic from any light leaks and installed a de-humidifier, fan and humidifier along with a hygrometer which I suspended at the same level as the plant was hanging which give the most accurate reading of temp/RH. After hanging the Zkittles, I adjusted the fan direction so that it was not blowing directly on the hanging plant, but kept the air slightly moving in the room. I set the de-humidifier for 50% which I run for the first 24hrs to knock down some moisture in the plant, then set it to 60-65% for the remainder of the drying time. The Zkittles Auto hung for a full 12 days, during which I checked on it daily to empty the de-humidifier and make sure that the environment stayed on point. After hanging, it was time to trim this beauty up and get her flowers into glass jars to begin the curing process which I prefer to take at least one month, preferably 2-3 months to really get a good cure and allow all the starches to convert to sugars, the remaining chlorophyll to metabolize and the terpenes to form their bouquet! Trimming the Zkittlez Auto by Seedsman was a breeze and resulted in some tightly stacked and absolutely gorgeous flowers that are loaded with shiny trichomes that sparkle, and a sweet and fruity aroma that will make your mouth water!😍 I was super stoked to harvest almost 100g from this beautiful autoflower that was grown in a little .5g plastic popcorn pot that I had saved from a trip to see 'Top Gun Maverick' at the theater and I can attest from cultivating Seedsman's Zkittlez Auto in the past, that with a bigger pot, it is capable of some incredible yields! 6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.
