Week 9 for Gelato 41, She was transplanted into the big 250L pot mid last week to my outdoor spot, she doesn't look like shes grown much since last week but i think its because how big her new pot actually looks compared to the 5L pot but shes definitely bigger😂 The mulch to keep her soil cool is just straight up hay (going for as low spending costs as possible) which i had laying around the garden already from a few years ago😇 Shes getting sprayed every morning at sun rise to help with pests... as my other plants around her are having aphid issues but haven't had to kill any off of her funnily enough.

The purple one has gotten so much fatter with its flowers but the other plant has a slow growth rate, not sure if it’s due to my fault but it seems to be doing okay. First problem I’ve noticed so far is a deficiency in Calcium. Started to see brown spots and decided to do a last top dress and made sure to add some gypsum.

Harvest day 67 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. . This week was a quiet week to avoid disturbing the beginning of flowering. I think the deficiencies are under control and there's no worsening to fear. Nevertheless, I will need to remain vigilant. The plant is starting to smell.

Just put them in the towel today. Expecting them to pop within 24 hrs and ready to plant in 3 days so spending the time thinking up names for the 2 girls They've both popped bang on the estimate. One even has a 3mm long taproot already. My coir has been reclaimed from 2 previous grows and the perlite has degraded so rather than wash up stones from the garden I've thrown in a few handfuls of lego bricks. They're non reactive to anything I'm going to put in there so should work just fine. Plus I've got plenty of the shit kicking around. I went back today and nearly shit myself at the progress. 1 had nearly sprouted fully so I got the nutes mixed and stuck them in the coir with an extra drink and a bottle canopy. Week 1 will begin with the first ground being broken

So we are 8 weeks +1 day here now, around 8 days into flush and 6 days away from chop. I’m guna cut these at 9weeks so they will probably get another 2/3 heavy waters and then 48hours of darkness. Really starting to pack on weight now I had to support all branches as much as I could with bamboo and garden ties. I sampled a bud I took when I first started flush at around 7 weeks and it was so smooth and creamy. Real nice fruity and zesty taste to it. Smelled of fresh lemons with a hint of grapefruit. High wasn’t heavy as expected being so early but certainly felt a relaxation effect 1 hour after smoke so really excited for finished product. Just counting down the days now!!

She’s doing very well right now! I have been removing some small leaves from underneath, one or two at a time. Unsure when she is going to need flushing!

Week 6/7? Effortless grow. Got the plants alternating on ACInfinity Self watering pots. These things are the best. Saving my butt when I'm unsure when to water, plants only take in what they need when they need it. Will be flipping to flower next week. Waiting on the rest of the 4x4 to fill out. Going to top dress 50/50 of gaia green all purpose and the power bloom before the 12/12 switch. Also plan to defoliate a bit as well. Taking some snips in the event we find a fast flowering finisher or something extra piffy from the Holy Communion pack.
