This week I moved them into bigger pots, which is why I think now they were not growing as big as I hoped. They seem to be doing well, and I have added the net now and will let the canopy build up. At the start of week 9 she is doing great flowerstretch is coming along nicely i placed 2 guidelines to pull her open a little bit and i bend a line round her main stem so she doesnt split open any further than necessary but she fills the little 45x45cm space like clockwork

There should be lots of growth this week before the stretch. I'm seeing the biggest growth from the growth tips on the 2nd and 3rd nodes but the 1st nodes are catching up. I will probably start some lst this week.

December 31 2018 day 99 from seed harvest tomorrow

Average stem height of the big ones are 36 inches, but the mishap past week with the lights might have stressed em a bit and caused some stretching. There was also a humidity issue for a few hours, which could be the culprit for the stretching. Two stems are pushing 40 inches. However, there are no signs of light or heat stress, despite the stems getting within inches of the leds. We shall see... I’m also battling a cold Canadian winter where it hit -42 Celsius today. Plants are in a cold basement in an old house. Had to bring out an extra space heater. Can’t get the temp in my tent above 20. Tent is too packed to introduce a stand up heater. Maybe I’ll convince the plants that fall is coming and they need to bud like crazy.

Started flush at start of week 9, will flush all the way till the end of week 10. To be honest I’m not sure we’re I land with the grapey Walters, they have some nice big colas but they don’t seem to be dense at all not sure if that’s my fault or if it’s just the genetics, their mildly frosty no were near as frosty as the sour stompers ajecent to them. They do have a lovely smell and I hope that I’m wrong and I might end up being a fan of them depending on the high/taste, only time will tell. ✌️🏻

She's doing pretty well but it seems like her buds are not fattening fast. I added some new advanced nutrients supplements so we'll see how this week go. How will I know When to do the week flush with plain water? I have no idea, I guess that will be my research for this week. Day 95.... still waiting on my portable microscope, should be here by tomorrow. Praying to the BUD God's for her buds to fatten up. Is it possible to harvest half of a plant? Day 97.....buds are getting a bit fatter. No complains, everything is perfect with this girl

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. Starting off week 2 with some issues. I have noticed a lightening of the leaf edges and slight crinkling on the leaves. I have ran into this type of issue in the past and I suspected it to be a root bound issue. This time I am not completely sure. I will up pot by the end of this week and compare. I was busy with the holidays so I put the humidity dome back on before I went and up the size of the growing containers. I think it helped out and you can see that they perked up with the high humidity under the dome. I believe the lighter green edges is a mag deficiency. I will add more cal-mag during next weeks feedings.

Queen Blue is doing well plenty of bud sites and I still think Ill have space for her daughters around the edges we shall see. She seems on schedule, this is definitely the largest plant ive ever grown, I think shes around 3-4 ft across.

I will be running Blue Dream in my flower room but they havent even rooted yet. In the mean time, since shes getting huge lol I decided to flower Queen Blue my Nirvana Shop 'Blue Dream" mother. Lets see how she does! Ill add her daughters to the diary over time. EDIT: I mentioned I didnt cut the plant at all but thats actually not true I always top my plants at the 5-7th nod. Thats it though.

I added a dehumidifier towards the end of this week to reduce the RH, but the thing i didn't realise was there were some red and yellow led's on the dehumidifier, one displaying RH and another for the power. I didn't cover up either through the dark periods and i just hope this past few days with them on doesn't affect my final yield 😣 Looking at the trichomes am i correct to start flushing now? let me know what y'all think!!
