Seeds germinated within 4 days. Soil is Plagron Promix. I use dual Platinum LED P600. RM is within 26-28C during the day and 22-24C during the night. RH is within 55-66% range.
I top the plants at the 6th node and i waited a bit to recuperete from the hst so i could start to lst them. I want to create 8 colas per plant so another top will be made after the plants develop 4 nodes at each side. FYI i use Nebula's Manifold guide which can be found at her website.
I did second top and start to shape the manifold. I've got 8 colas per plant, except for the Amnesia which was soiled 2 weeks later than the other three. I'm adding a pinch of silica along with the other products in my feeding schedule.
Right now i'm waiting for the Amnesia to be ready for her second top, then i will wait another week and i plan to switch to 12/12. Maybe 10 days from now and the plants will be in the flowering.
The plants are stretching and i do lst every couple of days and also did light defoliation in order to expose the plants more to the light. I switch to flowering nutrients.
Flowering stretch is complete so the plants are spending all their energy in making buds. This week I've administered foliar feeding for last time and I also fed the plants with neem oil, enzymes and flushing solution in order to decrease any possible build up of nutrients the soil might have after the veg and flowering stretch phases. Other thing I did is adding another LED in the tent and now I have approximately 1.1 kW of actual power draw. So far so good 👍
Due to the different genetics not all plants wil be ready at the same time. I do my best to keep RM and RH as low as possible and i give medium to high dosages of nutrients. Once a week i administer amino acids. The plants are realising really strong aroma.
Everything is going well. The plants are ripening and by this point each strain is releasing very intense, distinctive smell. I will continue to feed the plants a bit more, while leaving 7-10 days to flush. For these last weeks I've moved the plants closer to the LEDs (~30cm) in order to help the plants to ripen even better. Usually I have to water two times a week so I take this as a chance to ph the water at different values (between 5.8 - 6.8).
Harvest is close! This week i fed Larry and Cheese plants for the last time and now i'll flush and then harvest them. A lot of white pistils are sticking out of Kalini plant so I'll continue to feed her for now. All plants have very unique smell.
It's time to flush those beuties! I'm using flushing solution combined with enzymes and citric acid for the ph. I try my best to keep the humidity as low as possible.
Hey guys, this is my quick summary on how i've grown this strain. I've germinated the seed in low ec unfertilised soil and it sprouted within 4 days. I picked Nebula's manifold tehnique to follow which requiers toping, lst and defoliation - techniques which were all applied on the plant it reacted wery well. The only downside that i experienced is that the plant got too tall, even with all the toping and bending. This made me to also lolipop the lower part of the plant since the colas got too tall. Acording to feeding, i've administered 100% of nutrient's manufacturer recomendations with no problems at all. PH was always within 6 - 6.5 range. Buds we dried in room with temperature of 15-20C night/day and rh of 45-55%. I was able to lift about 95 grams of dry bud.
I would definitely recommend this strain to everybody. After 7 days of drying i was able to taste the buds and i'm very satisfied so far. Cant wait to taste them again, after some curing in jars.
I'm very happy to have a successful grow of this classic strain. It was very easy to grow and i didn't met any significant difficulties growing it. Sturdy plant that accepts hst and lst trainging very well. Thick, smelly buds that are covered with trichomes. Smell is skunky and cheesy, as the name suggests. After one week of drying i tasted some of the buds and the high is heavy and almost instant. Taste is earthy, skunky and cheesy. I cant imagine what it would be after some jar curing :)
Cheese creates an unforgettably pungent aroma and distinctively cheesy, skunky taste and It induces a very potent mind and body high. I am very happy with this strain and i would recommend it to everybody.
I'm very happy whit this strain. The plant didnt get very tall, i have 8 nice colas which yielded almost 80 g's of dry bud. The smell is very intense. I did tasted some of the buds and high is very good - euphoric and creative. I cant wait to see what happens after some curing in jars.
Strain is actually very easy to grow so i would recommend it even to begginers. Robust plant that did very well on topping, hst and lst training. Buds are thick and heavy. They release very pungent and piney smell with deep tones that reminds grape. After a week of drying i did some bud testing and i would describe the high as awesome physical stone with a bit of euphoria and happiness. Cant wait to cure the buds for a couple of weeks. Peace and be safe!
Great grow man, and the main linings look really good. It looks like the cheese responded very well to it. Its branches look pretty full. Would you say it is the one which responded the best to the main-lining?
@VovaFarms, nice that you mentioned Nebula's manifold, that's exactly what I thought! I'm doing the same technique on my current grow 👍. How long before harvest you think?
@Frenchie, thanks for the question 🙋♀️. If I have to be perfectly honest, I would say that all of the plants did mainline technique very well. Though, it would be fair to admit that I've applied Nebula's manifold technique, which is slightly different than original mainline technique!
Hi! Nice choice of strain, im currently growing the cheese strain in organic living soil to get maximum taste out of my flower. What do you think of growing this strain so far? Has it been without problems or have you encountered some issues with the strain in particular?
Anyway, have a great day and happy growing. 😎 🌱
