On day 169 I did the final flush on both ladies. I went through about 6 gallons per lady. The final runoff measured at around 400 PPM. Right around where I wanted to be. In my previous grows I did not flush as thoroughly, I'll see if I can even tell any difference and if it's worth it. I started the 48 hour period of darkness of day 171 (flower for 72 days). I chopped and hung the buds on day 173. I expect it to take about 7 days for the stems to start snapping when bent. Wanda weighed in at 659 grams on harvest day with stems and leaves. Wilma weighed in at 731 grams on harvest day with stems and leaves. I am estimating I'll end up harvesting and jarring over 15% of the bud wet weight. So around 200 grams. I ended up trimming all the large fan leaves before I hung the flowers to dry. My hands got very sticky while just handling the stems and cutting leaves. Will update once the buds are dry and I've tried some of the bud. Can't wait!

I had such a good response applying raw aloe very gel to the silver haze, just look at this weeks pics compared to last weeks. You can clearly see the difference. Aloe is high in beneficial enzymes and growth factors and more importantly an excellent source of silica. Cannabis flower, specifically the trichomes are made up of between 78% and up to 86% silica depending on the cultivar, so far only a small number of cultivars have been tested. However its clear that cannabis flowers NEED silica. Silica will also help with drought tolerance, it will armour your plant against pests, it will help the plant with transpiration, it will make water transport much easier for the plant, freeing up energy for other things like flower production. Also, If used as a foliar spray once a week in veg, it will help tighten up node spacing. So if you want those frosty buds make sure you have silica readily available for your plants.

My good friend convinced me that trimming and training are paramount, so I've started with slowly defoliating the Creme de la Chems to try and get to lollipop status. They're just starting to flower, so I figured I could get away with a more aggressive approach. Because I failed to train these girls early, I'm stuck dealing with a little rain forest. What I've tried to do is trace each flower topped stalk up from the base, and trim away from the bottom up. 1/3 of the way up per day. I've now got a thick canopy, and I've been trying to just use leaf tucking and manual manipulation every few hours in order to keep the different height flowering sites in direct light. These ladies have really been thriving, and it's been such a joy to watch them grow! I like having two plants in one net pot letting them grow wild, but I think in my next grow I'll keep it to one per pot and train better from the start. As for the Super Orange Haze ... not as good. I attempted to pull the main branch over to train her to some empty space, but I was too aggressive and ended up popping her head off :(. First grow, first disaster. I took the head and stripped her/coated in clonex and pushed her into some potting soil just to see what would happen. There hasn't been enough foliage to really make me want to do any trimming, I've just tried to tie the stalks off to train them apart. I'm really sad about my mistake decapitation, but she seems to be doing well still. She's probably week 2 of flower based on others' journals. I changed the water midway through the week (which is when the videos were taken). I drained most of the water out, but roots prevented me from getting the last few gallons. When I refilled the res with RO, I measured the PPM at around 200. I have to assume that remaining nutrient was completely unbalanced leftovers, so feeding will have to just have to be experimental. My approach has been to give around 1:1 Gro vs Bloom and Micro every 2-3 days when I refill with RO. I want to build my PPM up to 1000, but slowly so that I can detect if I hit a ceiling first. It's hard to measure how much food is in the water based on PPM. CalMag is what drives it mostly, so I've been using CalMag as a sort of measuring stick. I keep the CalMag pegged to the Bloom food, but I know it's only good for initial dosing. I can't assume the plants are eating CalMag in the same proportion as anything else :(. If anyone has a line on cheap lab testing ... hit me up. I'd love to be able to test a few hundred samples at a time for NPK and trace so that I can tell (even if post facto) what was going on.

Two plant same strain being feed the same and I have two total different out come. The first one is nice and frost growing with no issue even smell great. The second one I don't know🤦🏿🤷‍♂️🏿. I not doing anything different from the other on but it's growing but struggling at the same time. Where the first one is super frosty and smell strong the second has no smell is growing buds but is not frost at all and the leave have been dropping. So what I did was flush the second one and will just feed it ph water and no nukes for about a week or two to see if it get any better.

The buds on WW#1 are packing on weight, the heartiness of these plants amazes me, I feel it must be the great genetics from Dinafem and RQS because it’s certainly not my skills as a grower. I think I’m nute burning the buds a tiny tiny bit, I’m currently doing a 3:2:1 ratio of the florabloom series 2-3 times a day till run off. Going to slightly lower the amount of nutes and see where that leads me. The smell coming off the two strains is incrediblely distinct and delicious smelling, I find myself standing in front of the plants wafting the air towards me. My carbon filter seems to not be working very well, although I’m not really complaining as stealth isn’t an issue for me, I’d wear this as a cologne... lmao End of week comment: things are well. No major major issues. WW1 nugs are massive and sticky, extremely dense. Lower buds are super lose, probably due to the looming beer bottle nugs above them blocking light. No idea when to harvest though- if anyone has any advice I’d appreciate it. I literally cannot tell the difference between trichomes with my 40x loupe. They all seem clear to me. Maybe some cloudy ones.

I've been pulling fan leaves this week . 1. To slow the top down . 2. To encourage side branch growth. 3. So they can remain in very small pots in a small space until I have space to let them grow properly.

There is not much to tell this week :) A few came to the flowering tent, 2 are still in the vegi phase for 2 days and then come last to the flowering tent :-) The Blue Cheese and the Kosher Tangie Kush smell very good and how they should 😍👍 It will be difficult to choose 2 mums :-). 7/20 Went over this morning to plants soaking wet and heavy rain. Went back around 4pm and plants actually look really good. The rain has stopped for a bit and the girls looked great. Apart from some septoria leaves I needed to defoliate on the first plant I treated. I also noticed a few others on other plants so it's spreading albeit slowly. I treated the three in the middle with their second dose of Plant Doctor at 3tsp/1gal. One gallon administered to each plant via root drench. I think I may treat the other plant showing signs with a diy Dr. Zymes using citric acid as the active ingredient. That way I Gould start treatment right away without having to rely fully on plant doctor. Plus it would kill any pests. Ive seen damage but the birds do a number on them. I dont want to spray my plants with a bunch of chemicals if I don't have too. I shouldve replaced the pallets and cleaned the cage better. I think I did a good job sanitizing as I have no wpm. Just this septoria I probably got when the lady mowing the lawn cut all tjis fucking grass and blew it in my pen, throwing bird seed and I'm sure tons of disease into my grow bags. I literally had to harvest a bunch if fucking sunflowers. It looked like my plants had been mulched. Just with small disease carrying shrubs. At some point some of this stuff has to be on purpose. You CAN'T be that stupid. A couple kushes in the back look hungry. I think I may need to up my feed. I've written to much. I'll keep this updated. Thanks if you made it this far. 7/21 I guess it rained last night. Oh well. It was blue skies for hours before dark. It must've rained late/early morning. I'm sure the app of plant doctor will be fine. Like I said I'm considering using citric acid as a foliar spray to help with the septoria and clean up any pests. I don't have enough pests to warrant spraying. I just don't want to put all my eggs in the plant doctor basket. Today is overcast and windy. The wind has really assisted in spreading this virus. I remove anything I see infected immediately and since these plants are reveges they have plenty of leaves. Plants are really stretching. I know I talk about the septoria a lot but realistically if someone looked through my garden they'd have a hard time spotting it. I don't want to exaggerate the problem but I don't like dealing with ANY fungus or molds. 7/22 It was 55° this morning when I went over. I defoliated some septoria leaves and a few that were fading or damaged. I saw almost a whole leaf eaten so it's probably a good idea to move forward with citric acid. I can add that to the plants I've already treated with plant doctor. This is the first year it's been so noticeable. It's the reveg 10th planet that started this off. Oh well. I've dealt with MUCH worse. Plants LOOK good (other than septoria leaves (on bottom of plant). Today is water day for me but it's been raining and it's a lot cooler today. Bags still had weight to them. I want them to have a proper wet dry cycle. Temps top out at 75° so I'll monitor during the day and if something NEEDS WATER I'll give it to it. I'm suprised I have ZERO WPM. The septoria is much more identifiable but pm is usual present in these conditions bur I don't have a spot of it. I may do some defoliation today. I also need to add supports for flowering but one thing at a time. EDIT: Went over around noon. 70°. Bags seem to be holding weight (it was easier to tell as ONE plant was substantially lighter than the rest) so I decided to hold off on watering. At least until tonight. There are three plants (at least that are going to NEED water). They look phenomenal now though and we've had lots of rain. Plan is to go over later and get the light ones and mix the water for the others so I can administer it in the morning quickly. I have an early doctor's appointment but I don't to overwater or water unnecessarily just because. But when you grow alone sometimes you need to do things when your able. I have people there that would help if I asked. And I have before but its late . I'm very grateful. I defoliated quite a few septoria leaves. They were all from the bottom of the plant. A couole wete bottom interior. I know there are worse things to contend with but still a pain. EDIT #2 WENT BACK AT FOUR AND PLANTS LOOKED FANTASTIC AND STILL HELD WEIGHT. THE REVEG MK ULTRA IN EARLY FLOWER "MAY" HAVE STARTED TO DROOP AND "SEEMED" LIGHT. THE LARGE SPECIAL KUSH FUETHEST IN FLOWER BY THE DOOR WAS ALSO EXRRENELY LIGHT. I HAVE AN EARLY DOCTORS APPOINTMENT BUT DONT WANT TO OVER WATER MY PLANTS JUST BECAUSE IM IN A HURRY. ITS COOLER THIS WEEK. 70 TODAY AND HIGH OF 80 TOMORROW BUT DAD SAID THATS NOT UNTIL THE AFTERNOON. I MIXED UP ENOUGH WATER TO WATER EVERYTHING IN THE MORNING IF IT NEEDS IT. WATERED THE TWO THAT NEEDED IT WITH TWO GALLONS A PIECE (30GAL REVEG MK ULTRA AND THE BIG SPECIAL KUSH IN FRONT I DIDNT TOP THATS FLOWERING THE FASTEST. EVERYTHING ELSE CAN WAIT. 7/24 Surprisingly the plants still held weight this morning! The looked pretty good too! However its going to be highs in the 80's for the next 7 days. Since the plants still had some heft to them I watered everything just a gallon. I gave the 10s a half gallon and skipped the 50gal container plant. I think this is a good happy medium. I'm still seeing random septoria leaves but still no WPM. I defoliate daily sometimes a couple times. I need to get a minute to myself and add a foliar spray. I'll start with a dih Dr. Zymes while I'm looking into other products like bicilus (i have bt but its a different bicilus) or trichodermia. I need to feed sometime this week too. 7/25 Plants looked great this morning. I watered the 10th planet on the end that hadn't been watered in forever. I think I had been overwatering during those 100° days. I didn't water today as everything looks great and they don't seem to need it. I'll check later today. I did water the pink kush beside the 50 as it was much lighter (1/2 gal) to get it on par with the others. I'm starting to see pest damage as well so I think an app of Dr. Zymes would be a good idea. Both for pests and septoria. Plants are REALLY stretching. One special Kush is far ahead of the others. EDIT:WENT OVER AT NOON AND 4PM. PLANTS LOOKED GREAT APART FROM MIRE SEPTORIA ON THE 10TH PLANET. I NEED TO WATERING DIFFERENT IN THESE TEMPS. IT WAS BREEZY AND 80° BUT THE BAGS DIDNT FEEL TOTALLY LIGHT AND THE PLANTS LOOKED AWESOME! THE HUGE EARLY FLOWERING SPECIAL KUSH IS PRETTY DAMN LUGHT BUT ITS PRAYING AMD LOOKING GREAT. I DECIDED TO WATER AND FEED IN THE MORNING AND HOPFULLY APPLY A DR. ZYMES PRODUCT ON THE ENTIRE GARDEN IN THE EVENING. PLANTS LOOK HUNGRY AND I HAVE RANDOM PESTS. ITS MOSTLY FOR THE FUNGACIDE ASPECT. PLANT SOCTOR SEEMS TO BE WORKING GREAT ON TWO OUT OF THE THREE I USED IT ON. THE THIRD IS A REVEG AND HAS TONS OF FOLIAGE I NEED TO ADDRESS AND CLEAN OUT. IT SEEMS LIKE IT WILL SPIT OFF SOME SEPTORIA LEAVES A DAY OR TWO BEFORE ANOTHER APP IS DUE. I'M LOOKING INTO MY OPTIONS. I watered the two thirstiest with a gallon and a half. Everything else got a gallon (but the 10th planet on the end that was still heavy and the 50). I fed everything too. I SHOULD'VE done the DIY Dr. Zymes spray but I wanted to keep feeding and adding an unknown foliar spray seperate in case of any reactions. A day before plant doctor is due to be applied again the 10th planet in the 20 starts showing signs of septoria again. I've defoliated quite a few septoria leaves. I'm not giving up. I assume I'll do something tonight and I MAY just look to see what I can find on Amazon. Luckily my plants still look beautiful. I hope it continues and I can stay on top of it. 7/27 Wow everything looked amazing this morning. EVERYTHING. The runt in the 50 has septoria but it was such nice fine Kong branches. I haven't treated tjat plant with anything. Plant Doctor app is due tomorrow. That product is working wonders and saving my crop. I'll pull a leaf or two here or there but this keeps it suppressed at least. For the most part. I think I might just treat everything with preventative doses and ANYTHING I've seen with a spot a cure dose (even though I know it's not "cured" but it's "supressed"). Plants I think are almost over the stretch. I have one special kush pheno that is much further in flower than the others. I can't wait to see what the flowers look like. EDIT: WENT OVER AT FOUR TO CHECK ON THE GIRLS. THE REVEGS ARE A LITTLE DROOPY AND A LITTLE LIGHT BUT THEY CAN MAKE IT UNTIL MORNING. IM SURPRISED BY THE DIMINISHOMG NUMBER OF SEPTORIA LEAVES IM SEEING AND IM WONDERING IF THAT HAS ANYTHING TO SO WITH THE CUT DOWN ON WATER. She grew up nicely very healthy and strong and she produced a decent amount of organic clean cannabis, It's great and just what I work for because I'm a patient that needs to grow his weed and doing it making sure I grow them naturally and organically. The result is a very fruity and and tropical aroma, the purple color makes her even more beautiful. It's just a dream man, I love it, I just love to grow this strain, the 4 plants I grew had the same aroma very tropical and fruity, super sweet.

Her green still not were i want so i am keeping the nutrispray for a few days more at least until i like the colors better, apart from that she is growing great actually, wen looking at last week defoliation and now , i mean lol Sorry so short update i will keep updating among this week <3 <3 <3 Decided to connect my spider-farmer to increase my PPFD, i love this MARSHYDRO TSW2000 but in my humble opinion a 4x4 needs a bit more PPFD Power wen in flower mode bringing up my average PPFD to 1000 umol/m2/s lets see if she likes the idea or not. And like i suspected she did like more light and the color is changing bringing her green colors back to normal, did a leaf inspection just in case and posted some photos of my under leaf microscopic view, all good by the way lol , with this meaning that next week i will provably stop Nutrispray since i don't like so very much to apply any type of foliar during flower. And As i suspected i have an bug infection lol freaking trips found them way in to my closets, them a i dont know if mites, but i have something in this closet that webs and i cant find it RRR, i guess its part of the game, just been long long long time since i encounter any situations like this, and that is why its happening, i got way to comfortable and lazy on my IPM. This is one of the reasons why is so important to checking in a microscopic way under leafs etc Im ordering a bunch of beneficial insects , traps etc and going in from all sides lol non so ever she is looking great, not the best color leafs i know , but she is moving fast and furious . Yep, I have been so lazy keeping my diary up to date, life gets in the way sometimes🙄 Im on week 19 or there abouts. So a few things, As of about a week ago, I thought I was close to harvest, I had advice to start harvest when around 60% of the pistils had turned color and curled along with the trichomes becomming cloudy. I cant really get a good look at the trichomes no matter what I try but a couple did appear amber which I was told you can probably get away with a few amber spots, but it is a good indication that its probably a good time to harvest? With that, I thought it be a good time to start flushing, so I started using just clean water to start the process at about week 18. Started getting from what it looked like last time, cal deficiency, so I added cal mag, slowly cleared but now it looks burnt either from nutrients or light🤦‍♂️🏽 4 days ago I noticed a sudden growth spurt with new growths throughout the buds, as you can tell in the pics. So I went back to adding just bud candy in the water..Stupid idea? And now today I have noticed fuzzy white mold and yellow gold spots in the soil. I dont know if it is harmful or a good indication? Should I just harvest it or let it grow further? Some advice would be much appreciated at this point. Other than that, it has been a super long and slow grow and I am so keen for it to be harvested already as you know, it is my first grow after all. Peace✌️😊

Been hard to keep the water levels correct and having to up the feeding! Have a little dose of dynomyco and greenhouse too dress. Excited to see she is a purple pheno. ✌️💚🌿💨
