Pollenated for three days, took a funny photo shoot of the donor plant and tossed it. Let the plants marinate for a day, gutted the bloom room, scrubbed every inch of it down and moved the photos over there to finish, they were getting to tall for my 4x4. Put the Auto ultimates in their new home and they seem to be loving the spider farmer. She broke through the surface already free of her seed coat, standing tall within the day and growing quickly throughout the week. This is only my second grow, but it already seems much faster this time around. Tent stats: - Lights: started the week around 220 PPFD, ramped to 300 by end of week. - Temps: seedling heat mat kept in the mid-80s (30 C). - Humidity: VPD has been set to 0.6 kPa. Growth is already looking surprisingly broad-leafed for a "sativa", maybe she's falling back on her cookies genetics...

This one's going to be super fun with one of my favorite autoflower strains from Seedsman Seeds, growing in a little 2qt. popcorn pot and entered in the 'Best Rarest & Smallest Pot by Seedsman' contest, this one's gonna be a champ! 🤩 Today I went ahead and planted a seed directly into the medium which was pre-moistened with tap water from my well. After I placed the seed about 4-5mm deep, I gently covered it with medium and poured approx. 1oz of water on it. I'll keep the pot in the tent with a Solo cup over it to retain the moisture until it sprouts... Fingers crossed! 🤞🤞 11/3- When I checked on the Zkittlez this evening I was elated to see that it had broken ground sticking up about 4-5mm from the medium! I removed the red Solo cup from her and replaced it with a clear cup that has ventilation holes in it and which I misted the inside of with water to ensure adequate humidity for the seedling. 11/4- This morning I checked on her and she's already up to about 18mm tall but has not shed her shell yet. I'll make sure that the medium stays just moist for now until she's a little older. By late in the evening she had shed her shell and her cotyledon's began opening. I noticed, after taking a close look at her, that her first tiny set of leaves were brownish looking with light colored tips. I immediately thought back to when I was pee-moistening her medium and had a 'high moment' using my other plants nutrient solution which was around 800ppm in her pot instead of the straight well water I usually use. I thought that she was getting nutrient burn causing the funky color of her first leaf set but fortunately by the end of the 20 hour light cycle, she had her first leaf set out and the were a healthy green! 11/7- Well gromies this girl has a week behind her now and I'm elated to say that she's healthy and doing marvelously! Up until now all I've done is make sure that her medium didn't dry out using straight well water ph'd to 6.1 @ 75℉. Today I went ahead and watered/fed her with 0.6L of well water with Dutch Pro Grow 'A' & 'B' added @ 10ml/g, Dutch Pro Multi Total @ 7.6ml/g, Dutch Pro Take Root @ 3.8ml/g, Dutch Pro Silica Von Liebig Special @ 1.2ml/g and Earth Juice Oily Can @ 5ml/g which was then ph'd to 6.0 @ 74℉. The Seedsman Zkittlez Auto is doing great and now is at 2 inches tall with good color. As soon as I got these seeds I dropped them in a bowl of water @10am on April 30th. Planted directly into soil 7pm at sundown on the 30th. I wet the soil before planting. We had good temperature for germination week. The evenings were still lower 60's but the days warmed up above 70 °F. May 1st it was cloudy but 80° F. We had good sunshine on the 2nd. We received a heavy rain in the afternoon and intermittently that night into the morning of the 3rd. Our temps cooled off with the rain and we didn't get above 72° F on the 3rd. Two popped on the 3rd and the last one on the 4th. It was a little wetter than I prefer, but our soil drained well and fastbuds genetics can handle the less than perfect condition. The above listed nutrients were premixed into the soil at the listed rates per gallon of soil.

I soaked 3 Laughing Buddha seeds - 2 developed a taproot - 1 bad I soaked 3 Acapulco Gold seeds - 2 developed a taproot - 1 bad I soaked 3 Amnesia Lemon - All 3 were bad and did NOT develop a taproot I also tried the paper towel method on 2 Amnesia Lemon - Both were bad and did NOT develop a taproot Seeds were soaked by using 75F degree water, water was kept warm using a heating pad over night, cups were covered to prevent light leaks Seeds were sown on wet paper towels inside of a plastic baggy, covered and placed on heating pad for warmth at 75% water PH level 6.4 4 seeds that developed at taproot were placed in 78F grow tent, 80% humidity, 16 hour light cycle, lights 24 inches away, light meter reads around 250 with the plants moved off slightly to the side of a 4x2 tent 5 foot tall. Carbon filter not used as it was taking the temperature and humidity down too much. I DO NO RECOMMEND BARNEYS SEEDS - THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS I was offered a 30% off coupon on a future purchase, but I was not compensated for their out of date seeds. worth of garbage seeds, one strain would not germinate and the other two strains did not fully germinate. Customer service was condesending and rude.

Day8: First day of the new week. I assume still pretty much focusing on roots, as the top didn't really do much today. Day9: Nothing special. But she's growing Day10: Still roots, it seems. Very little happening up top. Day11: Effort being put into growing the top leaves. They increased in size. I assume that the next node will start tomorrow - kicking off the switch into Veg. Day12: Next node already showing :D Day13: I put in a humidifier and changed the cycle of the extractor to keep more moisture in the growbox. My humidity was way too low. Day14: This time the humidity was too high. It was sitting at around 95% when the lights went on.

Plant 1 been staying bushy not as much stretch. Plant 2 stretch a good bit. They were both 18 inches start of flower. Bigger one is 30 inches. Changed my nut mix lower. Was a little strong missed two days of adding water. Started to show little sign of nut burn. It was 4.5 gallon low and ph dropped to 5.12. Ordered float valve so wouldn't happen again. They are finely getting hairs two days ago. Been working on cleaning out under the canopy. So I'm thinking one more day and plant 1 will be through the screen. Plant 2 almost has it grid full. This week has gone fine except for one thing which I’ll come to later on. Still stretching, canopy par level is 900 on average and I don’t have any way of getting the lights up further. Hoping the intense light will slow the stretch down a bit but we will have to wait and see. Worst case I’ll have to dim the lights down a bit. That leads me onto the mystery of this week. The nearly dead plant. I have no idea why it has gone so limp. You can kind of see on the photo lapse how quickly it collapses. Incase it’s some kind of disease I’ll give it another day in there. If it doesn’t recover I’ll have to pull her out and try to train the other plants over her empty spot so I don’t waste any light. EC is around 1.2-1.5 atm, the highest dose I’ll be giving them will be week 4 and 5 of flower when the buds seem to do the most weight gains (visually). Canopy is actually quite even if you overlook the hole in the canopy, maybe a couple inches between highest and lowest.
