DSD33 week 4F Here we are at the end of the 4th week of flower, and everything is going perfectly. I defoliated a ton of fan leaves and took away a few sucker shoots, and now I think I need to re arrange the branches in the net for optimal spacing. They are drinking approx 5L each every 4 days, with nutrients. --- The amazing Seven Freeze suffered a little this week on the hottest day, when the temperature reached 35°C, and sustained some minor drought damage; fortunately, this was not to the buds but to the fully developed leaves. It happened in the late afternoon during the peak of the heat. As soon as I noticed it, I watered it straight away and the leaves perked up again, though a small amount of damage remained and became apparent over the next few days. Nevertheless, it is continuing to grow well and has grown another 14 cm this week. I’m curious to see how long this will continue and how big it will eventually get.

it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine!😋

Super stoked for last week, watching her flower is pretty incredible, so from pretty much week 9 of veg up till now I've been feeding her half strength base nutrients with fluctuating strengths of sensizym and Cal-Mag always mixed with 8L of basic filtered water. Update January 5 2020. Back from my fishing trip! Happy to say that everything with the durban is going swimmingly, I fed her today 8L with half strength base nutrients and half strength of sensizym. I will probably do one more feeding with sensizym and call it good.. in two-three weeks I will start adding my Overdrive nutrients to my base. January 11 update: Not much going. Just playing the waiting game now. January 13 update: its gotten really cold here, like -37 with wind so I put a ceramic heat emitter back in, now back up to 250w heat running 24/7. Growing in an unheated shop is definitely a challenge! But with the other one in things are picking up and shits drying out finally. Should have put the other heater back in a week ago. My bad. January 15 update: -37!! Holy fu*ck, fed her 3L of mixed nutrients at half strength. With just a splash of overdrive. January 17 update: outside temps finally warming up to -25°c yay!! Inside grow box temps up to 28°c she likes it warm, Fed her the remaining food I had mixed up, she got about 5L. Seeing fattening of the bud sites👀👌 January 19 update: No idea when this happened but it did.. got a crack right at first top. Now I know to leave more of stem above where it splits off into two. Quick tape fix till I figure it out, fed her 5L of mixed food with just under full strength OverDrive and some organic growth plus.. it has a high pk so I'm using it once. More updates to follow. Update pictures daily!! Happy growing everyone!🌱👍 Stay warm my Canadian friends.

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. These changes bring the nutrient mix in line with what’s most beneficial at this stage. All this precise dialing in is easy to manage thanks to the TrolMaster system. From pH to nutrient scheduling, the TrolMaster ecosystem and ThinkGrow LEDs have been the ultimate teammates in this grow journey, giving me real-time data, fine control, and peace of mind. 💯 (Not introducing UV light just yet, but stay tuned as that’s coming soon for an added boost!) Looking Forward 🌟 Next week, we’ll be upping the reds, giving us an even greater chance of activating those flowering signals for a smoother, faster transition through the cycle. I’ll keep tweaking and fine-tuning every parameter to make sure these ladies get exactly what they need to thrive. Big thanks to the TrolMaster system for keeping everything in balance and optimized, along with the supportive Grow Fam following this journey! Your enthusiasm, advice, and support are a huge part of this grow’s success. Keep following for more updates, and stay tuned for what’s next! 🌿✨ P.S. Deep Dive: TrolMaster’s MBS-S8 CO₂ Sensor & Smoke Detector 🚨 The MBS-S8 CO₂ Sensor from TrolMaster is a powerhouse for growers, especially when it comes to optimizing plant growth and efficiency in a controlled environment. This sensor continuously monitors CO₂ levels and integrates directly with the TrolMaster ecosystem, giving you real-time data on CO₂ concentration. Ideal levels of CO₂ can significantly boost growth and yield during certain stages, so understanding and managing CO₂ is key. With the MBS-S8, I can control CO₂ levels precisely, keeping them within the optimal range for photosynthesis. This sensor is a game-changer because it adjusts CO₂ delivery automatically, giving plants exactly what they need without any extra monitoring from me. Meanwhile, TrolMaster’s Smoke Detector is an essential safety device, especially in spaces with electrical equipment, lights, and heat-generating components. This detector can be set up to alert me instantly via the TrolMaster app if any smoke is detected, allowing me to respond immediately to any potential issues. Fires and smoke are rare in controlled grow setups but having this safety measure provides peace of mind and lets me focus on the plants without constant worry. It’s an incredible tool for any grower prioritizing safety and proactive monitoring. First day of the 4th week. The autopot system was initiated for CBD3 and CBD4, as their roots reached the bottom of the pot. The reservoir was prepared and adjusted to a pH of 5.8. Now, the plants take control of their water needs. CBD5 will be submerged in water the following day, C22. The air pump operates on the light cycle (18 hours on, 6 hours off). A magnesium deficiency was detected. Several sprays with Epsom salt were applied. 3.5 grams per 1 liter.

Hello, readers! Branches keep falling down, because of it's weight. I'm trying to manage them. Very hard positioning them. One of big brunches broke somehow... It's still on the plant, layd on the ties I think next week will be last for her. I didn't change solution, so i decided to fed her with TA only this week, so as not to accidentally overdose her. Feeding that's not from TA is in gr/l

Day 113. Girls are ok, lanky, i haven't lolitoped them, buts its one of my targets. I dont want big bus, how stupid it wouldnt sound, but if HERMIE part is ok , i dont want to give bud rot easy chance ... Its unavoidable in UK, but i bet a lot on my strategy ;)) They need water a lot, fed them a bit with bat guano, epsom salt and Great White. In an hour rain started, so everything happened on right time ! Still no signs of flowering yet ... Have visited my friends garden and all 3 RQS Royal Cookies + RQS Royal Cookies looks so much better , because of stronger wind and better light, just my friend made few mistakes. Still all alive and going strong ! Happy Growing !!!

*Week 4 Flowering 09/17* Blimburn - Apple Fritter (1) - 47 Inches Seedsman - Crititcal +2.0 (1) - 47 Inches Thus far no issues or concerns - Both plants are growing accordingly and are growing vigorously, Bud-sites are coming in heavy. Still growing in length. *Week 4 Flowering End of Week 09/23* Both Apple Fritter/Critical+2.0 have appeared to stop growing in length but have expanded in width in regards to the bud site development. Bud sites are blooming accordingly and trichome development seems to be coming along nicely as well. Nute feeds have remained the same/Plain water feeds have increased. *BACK TENT VIDEO ADDED - Apple Fritter (L) - Critical+2.0 (R) - 09/23*

Really impressed with dry harvest amount. 7.8 ounces of buds. I used my trim bowl to trim and came out with 3.5 ounces off trim which will be used for edibles. Really sweet smell coming off these buds. They are lovely.

Day 9 I had no choice but to defoliate, the canopy was getting way to dense and humidity was hard to control even with my 30 pin dehumidifier. Hopefully will not affect to much. Probably I will do another defoliation on day 21. TDS stays at 550PPM this week and CO2 at 1200PPM.

This week consists of July 23, 2022 thru July 29, 2022 - Seeds were planted on May 27th, 2022 and they all sprouted on May 31st, 2022 (~4 days) Continued on schedule of 2 times do feed and then one water with only PH'd water. LIGHTS: I'm running the lights on an 18-6 schedule. I have the dark time scheduled from 11am to 5pm since the lights increase temperature and during that time the outside temperature is at its highest so it seems to be easier to maintain proper temperature ranges with the light off during that period. Swapped out the metal halide bulb to the high pressure sodium on July 6th since the plants have been in flower. WATER: July 23rd: ~1500 ml of 6.1 PH and 1500 PPM. 30 ml/gal of Big Bloom 0 ml/gal of Grow Big 15 ml/gal of Tiger Bloom 0 ml/gal of Cal-Mag July 25th: ~1200 ml of 6.1 PH and oxygenated water July 27th: ~1500 ml of 6.1 PH and 1500 PPM. 30 ml/gal of Big Bloom 0 ml/gal of Grow Big 15 ml/gal of Tiger Bloom 0 ml/gal of Cal-Mag July 29th: ~1500 ml of 6.1 PH and 1500 PPM. 30 ml/gal of Big Bloom 0 ml/gal of Grow Big 15 ml/gal of Tiger Bloom 5 ml/gal of Cal-Mag TEMP/HUMIDITY: A max of 90.0F and a min of 62.8F with an average of 78.8F. VPD was harder to maintain this week since it was in the high 80s and low 90s outside with the average being around 1.59. Whole week numbers> Temp - 78.8F avg - 62.8F min - 90.0F max Humidity - 52.7% avg - 21.0% min - 83% max VPD - 1.59 avg - 0.40 min - 3.20 max CO2: Floating ball is between .5 and 1. This lets a more gradual amount of CO2 to enter the tent and I now get a more stable level of CO2 that fluctuates between around 1000 ppm and 1300 ppm. The regulator is still plugged into the same outlet as the lights so it turns off on the same light/dark schedule. PAR: PPFD between 300-1500. The tops of some plants are getting the 1200-1400 range and some side leaves are getting in the 400-700 range. ISSUES: Nothing new. TECHNIQUES: I implemented some minor defoliation on some of the affected leaves and some leaf tucking.
