2018-04-02. Week 3 day 1. It was time too upgrade the 0.1 liter pot too the 1 liter. Did the transplant today. They are a little bit overwatered but i will let them dry out now. This is the newest release from RQS seeds. And i will veg her under a Apollo 10 led and flower her in Growroom Nr2 under a 600 w Hps on a light mover. Its a organic grow and i will be using BioBizz nutrients. Strain information. Fat Banana is a unique tropical indica/sativa hybrid. It is the result of crossing delicious Banana and outstanding OG Kush genetics. The strain demonstrates amazing potency and the THC level reaches to 25%. The plant develops a strong and long central cola and grows up 80-140 cm tall. Fat Banana develops a huge bushy structure outdoors. The flowering period takes 7-8 weeks and the harvest brings 350-400 g/m² under a 600w light indoor and 450 - 500 gr/plant outdoor. Did some defoliation at 20. april for more exposed light. Watering 3L every 2-3 day ish. A lot of new growth.. So excited for the next weeks!

Permanent Bluez is well into flower now , smelling sweet and starting to get sticky. Love the shape she’s taking , multiple bud sites all looking healthy and chunky . I’ll keep tightening the tie wire and giving her room to chunk up as she naturally wants to . Sit back and enjoy the ride over the next month or so .

Hi growmies, Been a couple busy weeks with personal stuff and wasn't sure if I was going to be here to carry on my diaries.... however I am back!!!and free to carry on 🤫. As you can see purple lemonade is coming along very nice indeed her aroma is beautiful and her look is outstanding.. Just started to flush her out for next couple weeks and will see from there how we get on. But as my first hydroponics set up I am happy with my current look and speed to process thumbs 👍 👌 😀 up.. So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

Welcome to week 6. Day 36: Took off a few fan leaves today and gave water only. Day 37: Height 28cm Day 39: Fertigated with an extra strong mix, I'm going to up the nutes now until I find her maximal tolerance, she is starving. Day 40: Still starving. I'm keeping her constantly topped up with quite high strength nutes but it's not enough. I think 200ml may have been an overly generous estimation of her root space volume. Day 41: I knew this would be a challenge but it is proving more difficult than I expected. I hope the effort is worth it! At least so far I have learned more about autoflower flowering triggers with this grow. Day 42: in trying to get enough food in to her I have nute shocked. Need to somehow flush and hope for the best. I may have dealt her a fatal blow. Alright so to end up this week I have flushed the ever loving crap out of this lady. I've burned her with too much nutes, I didn't think it was possible but I went really over the top. So I have used a combination of a straw and 2l of PH corrected water and a lot of time and patience to repeatedly saturate and then upend and allow to drip out (with the aid of blowing bubbles in there with the straw). Eventually the run off stopped being dark brown. Then much later it became clear. I do not know if I can save this plant now I have really hurt her she looks in BAAAAD shape. Let us see what happens over the next week. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week.

As week 2 comes to an end 4 of the 5 have shown great growth 1 is behind (#5) but it also has a mutation and has a few 4 leafers on it. #3 is shorter and has wider leaves.

Day 64. Ph water to the finish now. They ain’t the prettiest looking that’s for sure. Trichomes slowly to turn cloudy. Orange haze will be first to chop, I’m thinking another 3-5 days Berry cotton & cheese still white pistils, let them buds swell a little more. 7-10 days left I would imagine. Finish line in sight Day 66. Orange haze has now had its last feed of ph water. Will chop once pot is dry around day 68/69.

Blackcherry punch has come down and been trimmed. Will post harvest soon when completely dried. Jack Herer has come down. In the process of trimming her. Everyone else is flushing. The real work has begun......

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Planta resistente, de estructura mayormente indica, con una producción importante de resina. Planta de rápido desarrollo que tolera bien el estrés provocado por el topping, LST y frío. Altura media, con flores realmente densas y duras, tal como prefiero, avanzando en la floración dejará ver colores rojizos que deslumbrarán. Se desarrolló muy parecido a una Gelato que crecí del mismo banco. Un desarrollo fuerte y rápido para terminar brindando hermosos brotes que desprenden sabrosos aromas dulces y lucen una apariencia de dispensario innegable!. Sin duda buen trabajo de Fast Buds en estas genéticas.

Starting to get some nice purple colours on #4 buds and Ozz leaves! Not super visible on the video but looking really good. Also had an unpleasant surprise the other morning, due to wind gusts the support went out the pot and #4 straight bent to 90 degrees. Looks like it happened around 3/4am and I only saw it around 9am, so she got pretty roughened up but no actual damage to report. Same for Dorel, a brush fell on a lower branch but didn’t break anything. The learning here as it is the second time it happens, both time just before I water them: I suspect drier medium is less efficient in holding the plant when there is a lot of wind. Well well! In just 2 days she went from little purple to actually the whole plant changing color. Curious to see where it’ll go!

Soaked seed for 18 hours and planted into coco , 2 days later shes roaring along .
