Week 4 – Flowering (Day 22–28) 🌸🌱 At the end of Week 3 (Day 21) we carried out a deeper round of defoliation and some lollipopping. By now the stretch is coming to an end, with the plants settling close to their final height. We’ve also stopped foliar feeding, since every single plant is now covered in developing buds. To keep everything protected, we refreshed the beneficial insects, better be safe than sorry, how we say in German, sicher ist sicher. Already in this early stage of flowering, we can clearly spot differences in structure, bud formation and even the first aromas. Some phenos are showing exceptional promise — those will be the ones we’ll highlight more in the coming updates. 🔎 Pheno notes so far: PG 34 – balanced structure, well-developed branching, consistent stacking. PG 52 – dense flower set, compact top formation. Pink Gelato stands out for its sweet candy-like fruit aroma, paired with symmetry and early bud quality.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. It was time to chop my ladies down

Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

01/11 Girls are blowing up. About mid stretch. True week one of flower 01/12 Switched out the MH for the HPS. They are running at 1150w with the UVBs. I will be adding some LED to mix the spectrum up a little more, plus i feel like they want more light even though its nuclear in there. They had a couple drinks of H2O this week. PH’ed to 6.0 using the bokashi/ffj. These plants wreak soo good when i brush up against them. IMO-The Bokashi/ffj adds soo much!!

Not a great week lost one due to being away for 4 days total dehydration think missed her when watering before I left 3 looked bad but saved 2 of the 3 lesson learned ☹️

5-26-19 Day 40 of flower and they are stacking hard! Smells are getting stronger and they are healthy. Feeding @ 550ppm (1.1ec) 6.1-6.3pH. Switching between Massive and Liquid Koolbloom every other week.

The plant is doing fine, the light has been a bit to close to some buds so light bleaching appeared (Light is raised) Getting close to harvest and the plant smells really sour and citrussy, its amazing.

Week 6 flower : I stopped the pk half way through week 6 so it had a total of 10 days feed with pk13/14 I also cut out the silicone and calmag on the same day . I defoliated a little as there was a lot bud sites covered . I am going to start the flush in 3 days which will be . .6 1/2 weeks into flower , going to give them 2 weeks flush with plain water . Still have a bit of leaf curl from the light being so close I did move it but because the canopy is not so even it’s hard to get it right .

8/4 Already 4 days passed since the beginning of the week and the Runtz grow so much, she's becoming really tall as you can see, the top bud it's increasing yield and growing new pistils every day, the lower branches looks a bit late flowering, from this week I'm gonna add also extra 200w led and some extra nut

How the time has flown by. She completes her flush this week and will start her dry, Sticky, smelly and buds are thick. Extremely happy with how she handled these last few weeks! Excited to taste her.
