Now on with your next episode of "TFTC: The Experiment". {--💩===👻---💀===👽---[:(⚪⬜🔺) oO===Oo (🔺⬜⚪):]---👽===💀---👻===💩---} The whole bending the plants to create an even canopy is looking messy, but from looking at the plants that the biologist did this to, I realize that this is just how it looks, that they turn into little bushes, very cool. The three plants are growing quickly, keeping on top of their training takes a lot of effort. THe people were in a flurry of activity this week, lots of things were being done and it looked like there was some great progress. Having done the groundwork we now had a solid foundation to build from, there were a few storage areas and a barn that was built, the planting was under way and the community was thriving, there were issues however. The main complaint was over food, people now had enough space as we spent most of the day outside and only came in for equipment, food or sleep. After listening to everyone's complaints growing louder and more frequent, we decided to send out a party of people to forage for fresh food, anything that would make mealtimes more interesting. Another seven people were sent out including myself, we used the map I had drawn up to plan a route through areas most likely to contain things like mushrooms, tubers, and early herbs and berries. The world at this point thrived with spring activity, we found spring mushrooms, a few tubers and wild garlic that was forming large leaves on part of the forest floor. That night there was a celebration, people were soo excited for a change in food that it became like christmas for everyone, a massive mushroom stew was made using some of the dried ingredients and most importantly, fresh garlic. It was delicious, the fact that we had been working so hard to get the community going and surviving on nutritional pulp for the last month meant everyone was ready for the change in diet, it had a noticeable effect on people. The next day people went to their tasks with renewed vigour, they built, planted and planned with increased energy, we even continued to send out small groups to forage and maintain a stream of fresh foods to help our nutrition and mood. Watching my plants I realized that they might need something similar, they are in the tent now and thriving, yet they might need something to help in the new growth, so it was time to start using the nutrients that the guide had said for when the plants went into flower. After the first few fertigation's (I am learning fancy new words), some burning was appearing on leaf tips, maybe this is plant overeating, so I will experiment and look for the signs to tell me where the sweet spot is. It appeared important for the plants to have the right environment for optimum growth, much like people, they needed to have the right things round them so that they would survive and thrive, if we had opened the bunker door to a desert I am sure that people would not be as eager to be outside, or as eager to try and get the community running, in fact, one way or another it likely would have meant our death. I retired that night, wondering on the need for environmental conditions sustain any form of life, nothing can live in a place that is completely hostile unless an environment was created for them. SO I lay down in my Stasis chamber, away from everyone, just the bodies still down here… we should bury them soon. Week 6

had a little problem with watering I hadn't done it in a whole week so the plants looked really dehydrated but then I watered them and now they look fine though I honestly really did have to remove a lot of dead leaves sadly...I don't know if it's time to harvest I'm not sure cuz the trichomes look pretty cloudy and so do the hairs looking all brown yeah

(Days 21-28) (Day 23) I like the amount of stretch I’m seeing on practically all the plants. I'm going to lower the light at the end of the week to stop the stretch. The more stretch they get in veg the less I have to lollipop or prune down the road. Makes lst easier too. I’m going to try topping this week. Last time I topped at the 7-10th nodes and didn’t get the best horizontal growth. This round I’m ready to give everything 3 or more toppings, stay on top of training and defoliate much less. This soil looks insane. I should have added a thicker layer of oats because it’s starting to look proper. (Day 24) Got my stuff from the hydro store today and amended my soil again. Next visit I will be grabbing a P booster like bat guano before I enter flower. Today, I got the 2gal pots, some primo worm castings, 5-2-4 insect frass, 0-0-22 langbenite, 1-0-3 alfalfa meal and an exhale co2 bag. Guy at the store said it gets his 4x4 tent 1000ppm+. It takes a few weeks at least for it to start putting out any amount of co2. I got the room sealed and two fans bowing. I fed a compost tea with a little bit of each dry amendment, BSO dry compost, boogie brew base and worm castings aerated for 24h. I diluted it to about 850ppm which still might be a little high. (Day 25) Opened a bottle of EM1 that was improperly stored and it exploded all over me and part of the tent. I wiped off the plants but there is still specks here and there. Cleaned it off and sprayed with method1 pps. (Day 26) Topped 9/15 plants. Will do the rest next week once I see a little more growth. 5 of the bbb’s I started 6 days after everything else so they are still quite behind. I’m going to push the transplant another few days until they recover. Going to start lst after transplant. (Day 28) Transplanting into 1.6gal pots that I thought were 2gals tonight... Depending on how many females I get, they will be going into either 3, 7 or 10 gallon fabric pots. Growth is looking solid so far, zkittlez and the 3 WW’s are leading the pack in terms of growth speed and cotes are yellowing out. I’m pretty sure what I have is a zkittlez bagseed but there is also a strong chance it could have been from some shitty Canadian biker weed. I accidentally misplaced the seed so it’s possible it got mixed up and I germinated the wrong one. Judging by the rapid growth I’d say that’s a fair bet. Biker weed is notoriously fast growing. Either way it won’t be hard to tell once they’re in flower. The white widow is probably going to be a breeze. I’ve heard that’s why it’s so popular too. It’s just a hardy rookie strain with good resistance, decent quality and above average yield. A sure investment. The blackberries are lagging behind but I’m sure they will blow the others away in terms of quality. One of the tunas looks great and the other is a stubby runt. The stubby runt I currently have in flower is killing it right now so I’m not writing it off yet. Can’t wait to see if the tuna god produces some nostalgic smells. Tuna strains are still super popular on the Canadian black market. I plucked the first set of leaves that were starting to appear on each plant. These branches almost always turn to larf and they're so small I can't that stressing the plants out at all this early. If anything, the zkittlez and white widows need to slow down a bit anyway. I’ve been doing a shit ton of research over the past year into what causes weed and cigarettes to have black ashes/poor fire holding capacity. Smoking black weed drives me crazy because it’s all the legal and black market have nowadays. The cigar industry has numerous studies on the cause of ash color and burn rate and apparently it has to do with the ratio of mineral content in the soil/water. Soil/water that is high in phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and other heavy metals will burn poorly and reduce to flaky black ashes. Whereas soil that has higher levels of potassium and calcium carbonate have thick uniform white ashes with no streaks. Calcium carbonate (wood ash, biochar) can also prevent heavy metals in the soil making them unavailable to the plant. I’m discontinuing my “Organic cal mag” as it is full of chlorine which I did not realize when buying it. I’m going to be pretty cheesed if that stuff ruined the burn of my current flowering crop. My dog also found and destroyed my Alaskan fish fertilizer so that’s being discontinued for now too.

She’s still a little burned. But growing very slow. Not much sun... cold, wet and windy Weather 👎🏻 Close to - 1 this morning... Think i gonna chop her Down before the rainy weather or the cold one kills her... But the buds are still so tiny Need a least 1 month😕 Any inputs guys?

Hi 😊✌️💚 The FatMonkeyAuto is in the final stages of waiting for 20% brown trichomes and then it's harvest time. I can only recommend the FatMonkeyAuto. It has good growth and is better for outdoor use or tents over 2m high. Because in a 180cm tent you quickly reach the limits. It smells spicy and fruity and the buds are nice and compact. Day 23 - This is so far the easiest run I’ve ever had. Genetics can handle anything I throw at it and organic fertilizer is working it’s magic. Something tells me I’m into something good!

6 weeks in flower nothing much to do the cherry poppers & the HerzOG to the right doing good but i have no clue what to do with the other plant maybe she outgrow her 25L pot in veggi, she was quit tall back then idk man

Plants are 5 weeks old and I decided to switch to flowering for week 6. Plants are all in good shape and the screen is in place to train them to fill the tent. I will be changing out the veg bulb this week and installing the 1000w HPS bulb for flowering. I’m still playing with the light rail speeds and pause times but I seem to have it dialled in now I think. I will also be doing another water change and adding flower nutrients sometime this week. ****Added 7 gal of fresh water to the reservoir on day 38. Added full strength Remo lineup for flowering to the 7 gal added to reservoir. I started to tie down/tuck the larger branches to the net as well.
