We are cruising now, 8 week and a day done of flower. The Blue Sherbalato and Wedding Cake are finished both have done poorly compared to the others. I said in my first posts neither plant was vigorous compared to the others. Maltezerz should make a fair yield and is also pretty much finished .Considering it did not have best speck and did not stretch as much so ended up being overshadowed a bit by everything else, it's done ok. Orangesicle has smashed the room, I can't wait for a proper taste off all of them. Of course I have quick dried samples from all, except GTH2,3,4.. I am not holding on to cuttings if they are not good. WC and the BS cuttings were launched weeks ago, They had no vigour, took almost a month to root so the plants just were not up to it. Yet the other weak seedling GTH2 has took off as a cutting and has needed more control than the rest. All the tests were pretty potent, not a lot between them, nothing disappointing ( I have been disappointed many times in the past with potency levels being no where near the claimed effects in the catalogues.) There was nothing unpleasant in the quick dried taste test, and a lot to look forward to. The outdoor plant has started flowering at around 45 days from germ, though it sprouted in an old chemdogging pot, I think it is from a GG auto mother, it has her structure with large calyx and heavy buttressed lower branches. I have gave her a light touch of pollen from the reg photo scotts OG male. So there will be a few seed in her, none would be Auto in the first generation, will I get the time/space to play with them?

Merlin Mintz is looking good. She is finishing up bulking. She will go to ph water in a few days for a flush. The next update will likely be the harvest. Everything has gone well. Week 3 since we first put seeds in the dirt. Found out the hard way that's not really how we want to germinate our seeds moving forward. Had a pretty shitty success rate. I still have 300 seeds left so, live and learn. The ak by critical mass has taken off pretty well, the OG Kush is taking longer than we expected, the quarter pounder is moving along quite nicely and the Northern Lights, which are only a week old are still lagging behind. In the "clone room" the MKUltra is looking very nice, growing extremely fast and we will probably be putting those into flower in the next couple of weeks. We went ahead and chose a few of them for mother plants; we took 25 clones today and set them up on a rack with cob LED lights. We also started our mother plant seeds; Northern Lights, blueberry, white widow, and super lemon Haze. Hopefully those will pop in the next few days, and in anticipation we have added a small mother room (closet really) for them where we will hang 2 800 watt LED cob lights and one Mars hydro sp250 and veg those out until we can start taking clones. Pretty boring week its almost like the plants stall at this stage and its always super boring waiting for them to take off. Plants adjusted well to the bigger room and new lights.. umol jacked up to 800

Stretched vigorously once she started to transition to flower. Developed potency early in flower! She was LST'd weekly, starting week 2. She was also gently lolipopped a few times, to maintain growth towards 5-6 nodes only.

After 4 days of heavy rain, the first mold appeared... So I spent about 18 hours searching for plants and picking out mold with tweezers After last year's experience with another seed bank, I expected the plants to be very affected by mold, but I have to say that Fast Buds genetics coped very well! Mold appear mainly on blisters to which the stem of the leaf leads water, which then collects between the stem and the blister I trimmed the plants more so that the air flows better and that water does not stick to them The plants look healthy and the flowers are gaining strength Especially the dark purple phenotypes look very dense and hard. it also looks very resistant to mold Very pleasant sweet fruity scent I haven't seen my children for 3 days, it's raining extremely ... the last time I was chased out by swarms of ants in the early evening, I've never experienced this before, there were maybe a million of them and they sat on me and on the plants I'm finally going to visit them tomorrow, I expect I'll have a lot of work to do with mold and I hope the swarms of ants haven't harmed them in any way

It was a quick trip, this very voracious HighCloudZ auto grew at the speed of light, it produced lots and lots of flowers, I foresee a 70-80 grams dry and without stakes. Harvested on 9 weeks, naturally it was harvested at the beginning of the harvest period when the trichomes on the flower started to turn amber, the ideal period would be between 20% and 70% of the trichomes amber I harvest very often at Let's start guys, mold on the tops is my fear. This time she sucks. All the flowers are covered in exquisite resin, I smoked the bubble hash and was very very happy. It has three large main buds full of medium-compact flowers, other fairly full lateral branches and something smaller underneath. Very satisfied with this young lady indeed. The appearance is classic, it is not that kaleidoscope of colors that we are used to seeing, it is a normal and beautiful green and red and crystallized grass. Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and red tinted sunlight both of which help with flowering. One problem with growing dope here is the UV light is weak this far North in the fall so for most people it’s better to just do autos outdoors and timing it so they ripen during the stronger summer sun and you’re done by the end of August. But if you want reliable big yields these fast flowering photoperiods are definitely the best choice. Sep 23: seems a bit off colour so I added some Alaska Fish Fertilizer for N. Always warming the water to about 26C these days to help keep the plant and soil bacteria warm and happy. Sep 25: this plant and Bruce both got blown over twice today. This is because the small 5 gallon bags aren’t big and heavy enough. The plants are fine. Oh well, the advantage is that I can move them around easily to maximize direct sun. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you’re going to immediately use a 730 nm far red light to put the plants into dark mode. It’s a great trick as a bloom booster and moves up finishing time here by a couple or three weeks. Sep 27: harvest will be tomorrow because of some bad weather moving in. Tomorrow will be okay but then rain and cold overnight and even snow forecast for late next week. C’est La vie.

Just been feeding her water once a week..she continues to swell I will give her some molasses one for the road and just water until week 8.

Getting fuller . I believe she’ll start pre-flower soon but this is really a guessing game . My first time growing autos so I don’t know what to expect but she’s healthy lol.

Welcome back to another week, finally decided to flip to flower as these girls do grow pretty quickly in DWC. Aiming for some nice quality buds bit also a decent yield of at least 1 gram per watt of light. Nutrient solution has not been changing to complete flower schedule yet but I will be sure to switch it over in a few days. The crucial part now is keeping the EC and pH in a good range to avoid any deficiencies or Nutrient lock out. Let's see what the stretch brings the first few weeks. Stay tuned, and I'll be back for the by the end of the week to report some video feedback. End of the week has ending with a heavy defoliation session. Plants were getting bushy and covering potential tops so that needed to be addressed. For now, it will be selective defoliation once they have recovered, which should be in 2/3 days. 05/31 -Day 64 ~650 PAR across the canopy. A & B continuing to stack. C & D’s pistols are starting to change colors along with some swelling. 06/03 - DAY 67 (C) top nugs are feeling tight and hard. Still assuming another 2 weeks till chop. (D) Foxtails coming out everywhere but not too extreme. Possibly another 2 weeks. (A) & (B) slowly progressing still.

Day 58: Scent has stepped up again and I'm noticing some of bud sites starting to develop frost. Day 58.5 Flushed with 20l of PH & CalMag. Day 59: reorganised tent Day 60: Fertigated 3l. Karen has put on a load of frost in the last 24h. I mean seriously. Smell stepped up again. Height 44cm. Day 60.5: I have had a really good look at other KKA grows. I think Karen is going to need a few extra weeks. I think she will be ready for harvest in about week 14. So I think we have about another 4-5 weeks to go. Day 61: Adjusted the LST a bit. She's frosting rapidly now. 😍😍🤩 Height 45cm. Width: 60cm x 70cm Day 61.5: It is only 8 days since I *heavily* defoliated and I think I probably should do it again already. Things are progressing well at the moment though so I am trying to resist doing it too soon. She is still stretching. Day 61.75: Right, I have done some research and I have made a decision,. I'm going to give Karen 2 full weeks from the last defoliation on day 53, so on day 67 (i.e half way through next week) I will defoliate and perform final LST just to space out the colas a bite more at the "top" of the plant. Incidentally, Nesia is now easily the same spread as Karen.. Nesia is going to be much bigger than Karen. As well as the ongoing stretch she has started to frost over this week and I am hoping this continues because more and more is appearing all over the place.

This week I have seen a lot of explosive growth in terms of height and shape! I was reluctant to beg from 6 weeks as I thought there wasn’t enough growth but they started to absolutely guzzle feed and respond well to everything I had done. Really happy with how they’re growing for now apart from the few issues I have had to say this is the first photoperiod strain I have grown and trained in really impressed. Humidity issues are still present but I’ve managed to maintain about 40% which is acceptable with temperatures bang on! I can see bud sites appearing everywhere and the defoliation technique really seemed to have worked. I will defoliate again before I flip to flower... Excited to keep growing!!
