End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

Oh how sweet the tent smells 😋😍 Week 11 came to a close with again more of the same, watering around every 3-4 days with 6L ~6PH 5ml/L Bloom, 1ml/L Green Sensation. Buds are starting to get some color now. 👽 Fighting to keep humidity below 60 but she is putting up with everything nicely. Can NOT WAIT to finally try her. She is shaping up to become a real stunner. Nice one paradise seeds.

They are titchy one will be no more than 15g the other 30g but it was a fun run. Beautiful big fat buds and I would really like another go with these under less pressure with the circumstances. I will add more photos! ** OK more photos added so yeah my guess was close a nice yield for the small space and little effort put in. I'm excited to see how my ones from scratch will turn out from my other diary🤩

Both Orange velvet underground's have segregation. Curious how this is gonna turn out😄 I hope they gonna give me a nice combo of purple/green leaves in flower. Stay tuned growmies 🌱

During the middle of this week I decided to stop the outward training of the branches & the allow vertical growth for beginning bud site formation . I don’t want to miss the beginning flower stretch kinda need it 😂. Decided to break the apical dominance of the main stem by LST’ing down . I noticed it was leagues ahead of the rest of the plant because it hung over the side of the pot so since I need to start slowing it’s vertical growth I figure now Is also time to get the rest of the canopy to catch up leaving me to space things accordingly later when/if necessary . Also decided to go ahead and do my 1st & last additional feeding since these girls where planted all I’ve had to do this grow was water when dry & train her to the best of my abilities. Empieza la sexta semana. Esta debía ser la última. Pero todavía quedan unos días más, así que me voy a extender a 7 semanas. Se pueden ver algunos cogollos grandes y voluminosos. Algunos otros no tanto, pero sin tanta diferencia. Hice una solución bien cargada para aprovechar la última semana de engorde. Espero llegar cómodo a la cosecha y sacar buenos resultados. Ya fumé algunas hojas con la pipa de agua, y el sabor y potencia se empiezan a notar. Seguiré actualizando cómo se termina esto. Día 38. Todo sigue muy bien. Las flores siguen engordando y las hojas llenas de tricomas. Creo que a pesar de algunos detalles, el resultado va a ser interesante. Ya es la cuenta regresiva y de no mediar problemas habrá una cosecha abundante. Por ahora se prende intermitentemente el ventilador a la noche, por lo que no se ven problemas de humedad. Pero ante la duda en cualquier momento coy a dejar prendidos los extractores toda la noche. Día 40. Estoy viendo que unos pocos tricomas recién se empiezan a poner blancos. Por lo cual puede ser que incluso se alargue una semana más de lo que pensaba, llegando a 8. Hoy llegó el overdrive de advanced, pero no se si usarlo en esta planta, ya que depende de la maduración de los tricomas si empiezo el lavado en tres días, o no. El engorde es muy notorio en estos días, así que ya estoy bastante conforme. Aún así voy a ver si es necesaria una semana más de nutrición o no.

This week i defoliated on day 18 because i have way too many top coming out and too many lowbuds that were getting no light from being covered by layers and layers of leaves. All strains but the og Martian have real tight internodal spacing.

Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!

07/01/22: Pre Flower week - lights have been switched to 12/12 and are at 80% still. The plants are really showing their sativa genes with huge growth. plants are average 70cm although two are 90cm. bud sites have finally started to show growth and lightening of the green toward the end of the the week. humidity is low - the carbon bag seems to have done a good job also.

Welcome back in the 8th week of flowering with Dutch Passion’s Glueberry OG. She is ripening good, buds are rock solid and covered in trichomes, such a beauty. The smell is exotic never smelled and grew such a complex strain. Last Sunday I gave her the last bits of nutrients, so this week is flushing till Sunday, Sunday will be harvest day!! I noticed that this strain have a lot of purple on her leaves and mostly in the bud, im happy with how the buds look and smell, it still reminds me of caramel covered berrys with some earthy undertones. Cant wait to have a taste! My next grow will take place first or second week of December, in the meantime I will chooce a new strain to grow and prepare the next grow. This time I will perfom my first real ScrOG and combine it with the airdome underneath my pot (they say you can improves your yield by 20-30%). So it got my attention and im very curious about the results. That’s it for now see you all back on Sunday harvest day!!
