I experimented with this as it was a free seed and I wanted to see what would happen if I removed any additional nodes and just kept focus on the man node/ cola. She weighed in a solid ounce dry maybe less give or take a few days of curing/ drying. Smoked really nice and packed a punch which kinda made me regret using this beautiful strain in my experiment as I would have loved more from her but at the same time she taught me a lot with regards to nutrient levels and how plants react depending on which way they're trained or defoliated which has really helped me with future grows so for that I will certainly be running this strain again! Pretty exciting week. Been doing last-minute prep to switch from Veg to flower, by moving lights around and adjusting them between blue and red to encourage growth in that last little stragglers. More significant though, we had a power outage in the middle of the day, mid week, that caused me to scramble to find light. This gave an added bonus because I the weather is getting better and I was able to expose my plants to some natural sunlight and air. You can see in the timelapse the combination of blue, red, and white light as I shift things around. NOTE: This week was also the start of the COVID-19 Self Quarantine, so the time at home gave me a lot more flexibility to tend to my babies. Plants have reached as high as 20 inches or more, but topped off the tallest ones because they were overpowering the smaller guys and also starting to droop. Plus I broke one trying to weave through the net. Next Week: Switch to Flower Stage!

day 95 - start of week 14 : its getting a little cold in my grow room because of winter and i dont have much heat source in there . i hope it wont affect the flowers . im gonna defoliate one last time at the end of this week and then 2-3 more weeks of light then i harverst ,we'll see when we get there :) -day 99 : i moved her into another room where is more warmth . she will be fine now . i just flushed her because someone suggested it that she might be locked . im waiting for the soil to dry now . im wondering how much longer does she have till harvest

This week I have seen a lot of explosive growth in terms of height and shape! I was reluctant to beg from 6 weeks as I thought there wasn’t enough growth but they started to absolutely guzzle feed and respond well to everything I had done. Really happy with how they’re growing for now apart from the few issues I have had to say this is the first photoperiod strain I have grown and trained in really impressed. Humidity issues are still present but I’ve managed to maintain about 40% which is acceptable with temperatures bang on! I can see bud sites appearing everywhere and the defoliation technique really seemed to have worked. I will defoliate again before I flip to flower... Excited to keep growing!!

Flushed yesterday. I want to harvest friday or saturday, but I would like to get in one more flush. Well today is the day. All three are coming down on this holy day, 4/20/19. Im going to turn my customized grow tent into a dark dry room for at least two weeks (Aprox temp: 50-60*/ Aprox RH: 50%). Im also going to do my best to keep Big Lemon in one piece and do a whole plant hang dry. I will be placing the smallest budding plant (The Cheese) into a smaller tent with plenty of light and Co2. However, it is only day 56 into true flower (+ 2 weeks of transition=70 days of flower) for Big Lemon. It has a recommendation of 60-70 days, according to the breeder. I lend some credence to breeder flowering suggestions, because most of the time their relatively accurate. Its gonna be a busy day, and ill be sure to post before an after harvest pics/vids. germinated about a month ago and have grown less than i'd like, probably due to odd weather. had some colder periods and a summer that felt more like april in my area. Have only now begun to fertilize properly after some advice from my brother. This is my very first grow and i'd highly welcome some good tipps for how to better my growing.

Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. What’s going on lady’s an gentleman. We got the GSC going into week 2 of flower an week 12 from seed. She is booming everywhere with pre flowers, training her out as she stretch’s to the outer edge of the tent. She is currently in a 7 gal fiber pot with living soil ph to 6.5 an thriving all the way. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range.
