This has been another awesome week. She has been doing extremely well. Her recovery time from her first topping, to the point where I could top her again, was almost 2 weeks to the nose. So we have topped her a 2nd time this week. She is now at 4 nodes. I am expecting/hoping to be topping her again for the final time in another 2 weeks. From there, Its Veg time, A Lolli popping, And then Flower Flower Flower. This week she will also be moving into a bigger tent. My bloom tent is currently empty, so I am going to move her over early, get a little more light, and be ready for flower. This also allows me to use the veg tent for my other fresh started grow. Don't worry, I have just installed a camera into the bloom tent, so we will continue with the time lapse videos as best as possible. Some adjustments may be needed as Cotton Grows, but I have already thought ahead and "should" be ready. Notice the "'s around should.

Week 15 started 7-03-2022 July 4th Update Cleaned our rez and made water at 6.3 Ph, cal-magged. Heavier defol. to reveal more bud sites and give more light. Upgraded flowering light higher output and more coverage. Temps are fine. She started yellowing and getting pretty defensive with the amount of light, so I backed it off to 18", way more light from this 400w COB. The UV is hurting her too so she is throwing more color into the flowers. I am flushing a bit right now and letting her just get used to the light. Added Gaia Green on top and top fed after a 12 hour pause and then flushed out the rez, so now just good water on roots, letting the media get used up, but I don't want deficiencies at the end of the grow, hence the gentle ferts. I don't want a chemical taste so flush with the natural stuff. I will top feed once more once she gets happier looking. So cal mag, like 3 ml of Hygrozyme for root health, and PHd - keeping it simple. (Don't over do the Hygrozyme) 07-06-2022 The upgrades continue. Moved the new light and new carbon filter, along with the A/C Infinity fan to a new Gorilla Growtent Lite 4x4, which is perfect for me for a good while. It barely fit in the space, modified the fan a little and its working like a champ with near identical environmentals. Moved the White Widow manifold into the 4x4 and adjusted the lights and she seems happy so far. I can tell the new light is adding growth and bulk just in a few days. Hopefully the new tent will encourage more ventilation and growth as well. Way less light leakage, almost none. So far I am happy.

Seeds were left in water overnight to simulate an all night soaking rain. The next day they were direct sown .75" deep into moist soil. They were left outside and because of the 40° nights took 4 days to pop. he soil was premixed with 15ml of rock dust and top dressed with the above listed nutrient at the listed ml rate per gallon of soil. 35ml of coop poop and 21ml of blood meal were mixed together and top dressed in a ring around plants, when they popped.

Hello Diary, The fourth week of flowering is over and we are slowly heading towards the end. Last week I did defoliation, so now there is better air flow through the whole plant. The leaves took on a yellowish color, but the flowers were not affected. They are covered with trichomes that are now visible to the eye and have been given a beautiful dark purple color. The volume of the flowers themselves is smaller than that of her roommates Purple Punch, I hope it will fill up a bit. As you can see in the photos, the Watermelon has a nice shape, it just looks gorgeous to me. In one watering I added Biobizz and that was the last addition of nutrients for her. From now on just flushing. Conditions in the growbox are good, the temperature varies around 25 degrees, while the humidity is around 40%. Now comes the stage when I start observing the development of trichomes through a microscope, it’s a special experience for me, like I’m looking at something from another planet. Here's a brief overview of the week: 11/03/2021 - Day 44. Watering. I didn’t add any nutrients, I just lowered p.H. water at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 36% humidity. 13/03/2021 - Day 46. Watering. p.H. I downgraded to 6.4 and added BioBizz as scheduled for the current week. Things are looking decent. Bud sites are starting to get nice and hairy. The blackberry breath pheno in the center of the room is chunking up like crazy and quite a bit faster than the rest. It might finish early or just be a super thick pheno. I’m going to give a fish fertilizer nitrogen boost to all plants that are yellowing, including the nice blackberry breath pheno. I’ve started a new living soil pile. I took the left over super soil from some of the male plants, mixed in a generous amount of dry compost, worm castings and natures pride bloom, sprinkled a shit ton of great white and mixed it all up. I also recently got another brand of beneficial bacteria called Dr. Mary Janes. Mixed a good amount of that in. I also found a good mychorizzae called WOW Organics. I mixed up a ton and then sprinkled a layer on top. I grinded up some oatmeal and sprinkled another layer over the mykes. I then mixed up a full strength feed of some Alaska fish and molasses and then saturated the medium. In a month or so there should be a nice layer of mycelium over the top layer
