The plants have grown very fast this week, easily doubling in size. I moved them closer to the light to 90 cm from 110cm. Watering as needed and I am keeping the soil surface moist with light watering twice a day. I have fed the plants twice this week. First with a half dosage humic + fulvic acids, microbial inoculant and Seagro. The second feeding was half dose Seagrow and Biobizz BioGrow with some CalMag and Silicon. I am preparing a compost tea with some added kelp meal, insect frass and worm castings for the next feeding before I start LST.

1/12: impatiently waiting for lemon auto to finish up. Still not sure what the northern lights is trying to do, but..the little buds are slowly growing. S l o w l y... 1/14: things are getting out of hand in here. Northern lights is bushy AF again but the budlets appear to be increasing in size. Lemon is getting closer every day. Looks like I've got milky trichomes and the pistils are darkening. Still a bit early, but I'd be lying if I wasn't anxious for the space.. 1/15: I've accepted that I have at least a week ish left on Lemon auto,but she's getting there! I did some rather risky defoliation on northern lights and holy shit, she's got potential. I'm hoping she's just a slow grower and those buds will really fatten up! Perhaps lemon is just a really fast growing plant? I've also decided that since space is limited, my best bet is to probably rotate the plants every other day to allow all bid sites an opportunity for direct light. I'm reigning myself in. Once lemon auto is harvested I need to NOT immediately plant another. I've got some mephosito seeds I want to get going, but I've learned my lesson. This tent fits two 5 gallon mature plants... Uncomfortably. Three is too many 😂 1/17: wondering if northern lights has is it her to fatten up. Gave her a good flush &feed. Popcorn buds or not, I'm invested (#forscience). Lemon auto is still finishing up. Can't get good enough pics with phone to see trichomes. Clearly, I have a minimum of a week left, but I got a digital microscope so I can keep track! Should be here for next update.

Harvested her on day 70. Very loud smell and dense nugs, like expected. Very excited about how it turns out after curing. Absolutely recommend fastbuds if you are looking for high quality seeds for a reasonable price.

Hi Growdiaries, BubbleGummer has been moved to the bloom tent, she had reached the lights in my veg room. Keeping her on the veg nutrients for now. I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

well, another week goes by and it's growing not like I expected hehehe but that's ok, living and learning, and for now I'll just wait for this cycle to end to start a new one and post it here and I'll tell you right away that I ordered a kit advanced nutrients starter and will test it on the new cycle. =D

Second week of flower and I defoliated again. There are small bud sites starting to form at the end of week two flower. The apple fritter has fascination which is making the stems grow interestingly with lots of bud sites.

1st Week of Flowering! 28 Aug - first 10am-10pm (12hr) cycle today, having had a shorter light period yesterday to adjust to 10-10. LST’d most plants - reminding ones tomorrow will be done. Drying out pots as felt like was overwatering - will monitor wilting and water tomorrow evening but hopefully won’t suffer too much. High temps with LED’s at 60% intensity today. Turned to 70% tonight as need to lower hanging height having LST’d but didn’t want to upset plants in dark cycle as too late (lights off). Will turn back to 60% and drop to 45cm having seen canopy adjust to LST. 29 Aug - all plants watered w/2ml/L seaweed & 3ml/L flower powerfeed. Learning to control humidity & temps. All progressing. More LST done today but forgot an overall picture! Biscotti Mintz showcasing its strong genetics. 30 Aug - going well! 31 Aug - turned lights from 70-%50 as maybe, maybe(?) too intense…just felt instinctively to do so. No yellowing but don’t look 110%? 1 Sept - all watered w/ 3ml/L liquid feed, 1L each. Also raised lights a little (5cm) to get better coverage. Looking good. 2 Sept - going well. Seems like plants enjoying 50% light @50cm approx. 3 Sept - progressing further. Moved plants 5-10cm closer to tent door so far plant was under light a bit more so more even. Will maybe up light to 60% commencing week 2 of flower tomorrow. Will water tomorrow having top dressed with organic dry medium bloom nutes to help keep P levels up since low in Powerfeed I’m using.

This is by far the largest autoflower that I have personally had the pleasure of growing. She is in full on flower as shes heavy pre flowering and has an awfully wonderful smell. I may end up setting her out in a greenhouse at some point as shes so much taller than all her friends and sisters. This week is almost the same as last week. Did some LST and Defoliation. Got rid of some stuff close to the plants so now they have more space. They started to smell so I have to buy some other plants as well like the Jasminum polyanthum, because I don't want any complaining neighbours.

She finished strong, I wanted to push her another couple days but started showing signs of necrosis in ways I wasn’t confident in letting her go longer.

Perfect tropical-like weather. No problems to report. Excellent growth. Still rearranging net tent as this bastard stretch a lot. Stigmas are finally forming. This strain surprises me more every day, she's the first to bloom when she should be the last, she should be unsuitable for outdoor cultivation and instead she's a great performing one. Excellent pheno. 😉👊
