10/2: My soil mix was too hot and I accidentally killed 11 of the 12 Fastbuds seedlings I had going. So, I started about 20 Candy Cane hybrids in rapid rooters wetted with myco, tricho, and beneficial bacteria. All but one popped up. One of them did a cobra-basket and petered out. The beans all came from tray trash that accumulated while I was smoking three diff strains, so I probably won't know what they are until they are flowering. 10/4: Looks like I'll have enough growing that I have to cull the weakest few. I can feasibly (possibly) squeeze 14 into the lower section of the closet under 720w if they act right and if I do some training, and another 4 in the top under 200w if I keep them at 30" or less in height. 10/6: I think I'll veg everybody in the bottom section until I'm out of space, then move the shorter 4 or maybe 5 into the top section as necessary...and move the tiniest ones outdoors to finish. I just don't have the heart to kill anything that's got a potential yield of a half-ounce or more. Some of the most diminutive plants I've grown produced the stankiest buds.. I've currently got the 200w 3500k+660nm running at about 32" in the middle of the closet, and one of the 3 pairs of 120w 3000k+660nm quantum boards running at about 36" and should be sufficient coverage for the next week or so. Then I'll kick on the pair of boards closest to the doorway and spread them out a bit..and then I'll move the 200w light to the top section along with the best 4 short plants. At that point I'll turn on the center 2 qb's and install a 2 foot Solacure Flower Power UV light in the perpendicular center channel of my frame. 10/7: I installed my new AC Infinity 6" fan in the attic and hooked up a 16" carbon filter today. I used some sound deadening foam on the rafter that I mounted it to and removed 100% of the vibration. I haven't programmed the thermo/hygro stuff yet, but tested it on high and I can't hear a thing anywhere in the structure.👍 I'm also purchasing a dual 120mm fan system from AC Infinity in the door, behind the grille I already installed to serve as fresh air intake. It also has a thermostat feature that will allow me to set it to only come on when the temps are too high, so I'm optimistic that it will allow me to manage the temperatures in this closet with about 1000w running for 18-20 hours a day.🙏 I moved the 200w 3500k+660nm to the top section today and lowered my QB frame to 32" above the plants. I have two pairs of them running now, and received the replacement HLG 240-48A driver today for the third pair. I'll hook it up later..dont need it now.. 10/8: I fed most of them today for the first time...about 16 oz of solution containing grow big, big bloom, kelp me kelp you, boomerang, and armor si. I hooked up the 3rd pair of qb's today....wow that's bright....they're gonna love it!😎 The last of the sprouts has been planted and is growing. That's a total of 19.... 3 of them still in 1 liter pots and getting plain distilled water. I also foliar fed all of them with a little big bloom and kelp me kelp you. 10/9: I got some Axiom to apply onto them tomorrow. It's got a good amount of Harpin a|b proteins which trigger rapid plant growth and other defensive traits that are proven to be canna-friendly, like enhanced resin production and increased resistance to molds, mildews, and fungi. I foliar fed them today with big bloom kelp me kelp you, and the day following the Axiom application I plan to foliar feed them with Biotabs BoomBoom Spray to negate any initial ill-effects caused by the Axiom. I'll probably just mist them with distilled water for a day or two following that regimen to ensure that it's all rinsed off. But, following that break in the foliar feeding routine, I've got some Fulvic/Humic acid to rain gently over them for a couple of days. 10/11: End of week 1, and I'm happy with their progress thus far.😀 They had no trouble with the "Harpin protein attack" I engaged them with yesterday... at all, and even look quite a bit bigger than I expected. They also had their first "night time* last night...4 blissful hours in 74f temps with 48%RH.💤

Was away again this week but the plants have been fine. I watered them when I left and 5 days later the soil was dry and they needed a water so i fed them 1 litre each yesterday. Today I’ve tried to tie some more branches down to the scrog net to allow more light to all the buds. I have ordered a new thermostat with a day and night temperature so soon will be able to do lower night temps

Looks like almost all white hairs are gone. Should be close to finishing, I hope anyways. Trimmed her up this past week a little bit. Plant is 99 days old.

6/10 - really smelling like cake these days, sweet and sticky 6/11 - fed and watered, gave about a quart of pH adjusted water with nutes, upped the bloom a bit. Also noticing leaf tip burn and photo bleaching, so I removed the stand, moving the pot to the floor.

While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. Coming into the final weeks of flower . Buds are fattening up and the hairs are changing color. Leaves are wilting and or changing color like they do in Fall. Looking very nice

Each of the ladies looks perfectly healthy. Which makes me very happy. However, I'm a little undecided about defoliation... but the question has already been asked. I'll get an answer right away.

Not the biggest harvest but its probably the most potent i have grown so far except for maybe the gg4 auto but im going to be doing some more titan and other f1s for sure probably going to try some of the other ones also all in all im happy with the few ozs i got ,super dense and very sweet fuely berry smell its very got a very unique look,smell and taste its awesome im so glad i grew all these different strains that i have never smoked or grew lol the only thing from this round i have smoked or grew before was the gg4 the rest were all new and i did each plant differently according to what the girls were telling me and it worked out fairly well for me this round

Tangerine Dream Auto - Barney‘s Farm Mein erster Indoor Keller-Grow neigt sich dem Ende zu. Es ist bunt geworden im Zelt. Die erste Blüte habe ich bereits vaporisiert und bin ziemlich begeistert vom Geschmack und der Wirkung. Leider habe ich aufgrund persönlicher Umstände nicht im Ansatz geschafft hier ein paar Tagebücher zu führen. Es war für mich ein extrem stressiger Winter und ich bin froh, dass ich wenigstens regelmäßig ein paar Fotos machen konnte. Der Anbauraum hatte zwischen den Pflanzen gemessen eine Minimaltemperatur von 17,4 Grad und während der Vegetationszeit konnte ich die Auto-Damen Tagsüber mit bis zu 28 Grad unter einer Sanlight Evo 4-120 1,5 verwöhnen. 18/6 - Licht/aus. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit war in der Veggiephase bei ca. 65-75 Prozent im Zelt und in der Blütephase konnte ich sie Stück für Stück absenken auf 55-43 zum Ende hin. Gedüngt habe ich ein einziges Mal mit 1:20 sauberem Urin am Ende der dritten Woche. Ansonsten gieße ich auf das Terra Preta ähnliche Substrat ausschließlich mit hartem Leitungswasser mit Ph 7,6. Das Substrat wurde kurz nach der Sämlingsphase mit einer dicken Schicht Laub, Braun- und Grünschnitt Mulch abgedeckt, welchen ich zuvor dreißig Minuten bei 150 Grad im Ofen gedämpft habe (Sterilisation). Es kamen Nematoden, Raubmilben und Gelbtafeln zum Einsatz, weil wir mit einer ziemlich unangenehmen Trauermückenplage zu kämpfen hatten. Anfang der Blütephase kam es zu einer Nährstoffblokade aufgrund von Überwässerung. Das Substrat hält die Feuchtigkeit sehr lange und die Mulchschicht verhinderte ein Austrocknen des Substrats. Wir haben anfangs deutlich Zuviel gegossen und das Substrat nicht etwas austrocknen lassen. Nach Anpassung des Gießintervalls auf alle drei Tage mit ca. 2-2,5 Liter, löste sich das Problem nicht in Luft auf, aber wir konnten es aufhalten. Meine Pflanzen sind bereits geerntet und hängen zum Trocknen. Viel Spaß mit den farbenfrohen Bildern. Happy Growing! 💚
