High GD community, Week 14, Haze is a very different plant from the 2 others. I think she still needs to kick off the stretching fase, but she is allready growing very high. Internodes are a little bit longer but the plant looks much tinner in construction. Applying the same techniques on all 3, the haze formed some very long thin branches. I hope they get a bit stronger bcs this doesnt look like they will support buds until the very end. 1 feeding this week with bokashi juice, honey and molasses. This week went by good plant have some very good bud sites developing on them this strain has done very good and overall happy with the way they are growing

Last week it was time to harvest Jack Herer Auto - the number of amber trichomes was getting too high for my taste. Unfortunately my chronic illness flared up massively, making it very difficult to get the harvest done in time. After everything was done and the last bud chopped down, I switched off the camera that I quickly threw on the tripod to film the defoliation and harvest, I realized, I have completely forgotten to take any before photos. So, there aren't any. All you get is 2 videos and two photos post harvest. There might be some additional photos and videos when trimming the buds and some of the grove bags for curing. Other than that, Jack Herer grew tall and beautiful, sativa dominant in structure, with plenty of bud sites, trichomes and terpenes - but the buds ended up being quite airy, larfy. Not sure if that's due to the heat wave and higher temps before that. It's not the end of the world either, the buds are super sticky, they smell absolutely delicious, and I'm sure they'll be very tasty.

These 2 have slightly different structures. One more purple and heavy jelly smell! The other a lot more pale green purple and a creamy jelly smell. Similar to one of my Miami Miami with the cream

EC schrittweise auf 1.3 - 1.4 Die ersten 4 Tage im Video kaum Wachstum (war unterwegs)...Blumat war verstopft...Blätter sind unheimlich dünn geworden und die untersten großen verwelkt...ab Mitte der Woche 4 konnte ich eingreifen...danach bissl manuell LST (mit der Hand gebogen) betrieben und entlaubt...bissl später scrog Netz spannen und Pflanze schön in die Breite ziehen. Im Großen und Ganzen hat sich die Pflanze wieder schnell erholt und gedeiht weiter. Heute auf 12h umgestellt (bin schon ganz aufgeregt...SF1000 raus und SF2000 rein(füllt die gesamte Breite des Zeltes aus😬)...zunächst ca. 45 cm Abstand und 80% trotzdem Photonen schon ca. 40% mehr...in paar Tagen gehe ich auf 100%...habe auch Seitenlampen (Niello T8) bereits installiert aber noch nicht eingeschaltet...evtl. wird das zuviel aber ich experimentiere halt gern...3 Optionen...die Pflanze geht dann richtig ab...Sie geht ein...oder es beeinflusst nichts ausser Stromrechnung.

Yesterday was a big day! I finally upgraded her to the 4x4 tent with a 650W light, moving from the cozy 3x3 with a 300W. 🎉 During the transition, I made a few rookie mistakes that led to some discoloration on the upper canopy leaves. But hey, no worries! As @autopotamus wisely says, “We’re growing flowers, not just leaves.” A little defoliation is part of the journey, and she’ll bounce back stronger than ever! 💪 Every experience is a lesson or a blessing. My first seed didn't make it due to technical difficulties, so I popped another to try to maximize the output from the mini machine. She is growing well at day 7. Seeing some leaf curling from her adjusting to the environment, but she is still showing steady growth. She is a week behind the 2 plants that were originally germinated. She will be topped around day 10 or 12 as soon as the third node comes up enough to pinch off. I started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irrigated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.
