Started the Mexican Airlines seed directly in soil on Tuesday and she broke ground today (Saturday). I've been reading a lot of good things about this strain and am looking forward to watching her grow. So as I said last week it happened my plants became bushier 😊 So the new shoots i have topped them now so we make double the amount of heads and that’s topping done for here on out ✅ The broken tap root plant is fighting strong and is still growing just at a stunted rate but I will give her everything I can to make her still blooom!!! We have now started tying the plant stems down to start making the SEA OF GREEN. Applied my top up top dressing of bio grow to push to the end of my veg stage ✅ when applying my top dressing I added some worm castings to help. If you look at one bird eyes view picture you will see a cream bit of tap rapped round the stem this is because one of my stem stapped abit to far so to stabilise it I do this worked well in the past. 9L of water per plant

Day 70 - It takes 5 days for the soil to dry out, with a 2.5 gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients. She has been selectively de-leafed, since the last major defoliation. The goal from now to harvest, is to maximize the light penetration, and airflow throughout the canopy, while sacrificing as few leaves as possible!

The final week for both grapefruit by Fast Buds I have given another generous feeding of a compost tea to ensure all the microbes are at their full strength before the flushing begins next week. Both are frosting up nicely and showing a little stress from the light, bleaching the top colas and causing some foxtailing. I’ve increased tent air flow, reduced temps and will leave it at that. Trichomes ate quickly clouding up so I’m giving extra attention to time the chop right, my prediction is that it will be in the next 2 weeks. Leaves are getting the green back slowly, not that it matters much at this point. Buds are getting very fat and crystaly, and the smell is getting more intense each day. If the buds keep growing, I can see this yielding a bit more than originally anticipated on Day 34 10/22/21: Day 45. Not entirely sure what is going on, the plant seems to want to go yellow still. The buds still look good, so I'm not sure if they are just sucking out the nitrogen. Buds are fattening up at a fantastic speed. Everyday I see them a little bit fuller, and more covered in trichomes. Several hairs are starting to turn red, which doesn't mean a whole lot just yet. I am anticipating at least another two to three weeks before it's ready for harvest, but it might be sooner. I'm not in a rush, as it will still be curing a while before smoking. 10/24/21: Day 47. 💧The smell is incredible, becoming more potent each day. It's now noticeable right away after opening the tent, and not just when buds are rustled. I can see the buds slowly getting darker. Not extremely dark, at least not yet. It looks as if it will be a beautiful looking bud once it's all finished. Watering is becoming an everyday thing, so I will go back to the juice container of water. 10/26/21: Day 49. 🍃Removed a few more leaves, mostly the dying ones, and a few more to open up light to lower buds. The amount of yellowing is still confusing me, as it should have at least subsided by now. A good test of the genetics, as it's still going strong. The next run will be a much more controlled run, with proper nutrient dosage at the right time. I'm amazed at how fast the hairs are dying back, what once contained a few red hairs, now has a nice covering. Still plenty to go, since I won't be harvesting this one early. Two more weeks minimum, unless issues arise.

Hello. This is the last look at Nova OG after 10 week of flowering with the last 2 weeks were in flushing The plants look and smell great. A candied Lemon smell with woody undertones is what I smell. Plant #4 went hermie so I'm expecting some seeds. Oh Well! There is some big buds in here. I hope it's strong too! I cure using paper bags. With everything dried and cured and in jars, in about 2 weeks. I take some tester buds and let them dry aside. They are dry after about 5 to 6 days. Although the buds are not cured they give me a good feeling as to how strong they are. So I should have a smoke report in about 2 weeks. See ya then. Chuck.

I used the glass of water technique, soaked it for 18 hours then transferred it to moist paper towel (paper towel method) put it on a plate and placed it on a dark and warm area and spray water once the paper towel goes dry. 2-3 days until the seed crack and reveals its tail then i planted it on my medium.

Week 2 of flower and I can see I should have some nice big buds when fully developed. They finished their stretch at the of week 2 and started to produce terpenes. The choc mint og smell is here!

Week 15 for Gigi! 7th week of flowering. Gigi is ready for flush! I've flushed her with 60 liters of 6.0 ph'd water in combination with Final Solution. Now we wait a week at 40%rh 10 hours of light and high ventilation with the last two days of dark and then we're ready for harvest! Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. July 12, 2020 Hi, Plants are looking great and stretching a lot( i want a christmas🌲🤤) 7 plants are showing pistils, two little ones still need to bloom. Talking of bloom, we added Gaiga Green bloom, organic powder. To all the blooming plants. The other got veg feed. We topped one of the biggest plants and a medium size plant. Lots of water and lot of movement for the plants. Two thunder storms last week so The plants were moved in and out of their cover a few times. Thanks everyone Happy grow and high fun !

It’s been an accursed year for the grow cycle and we ran in to pretty much every problem you could have with these plants. Aphids, WPM, bud rot. The plant grew strong but the genetic does have some inherent fasciation qualities that were really prevalent with this plant. Not enough to consider unsuitable for breeding though. The bud quality of this strain alone and the overpowering high are just too good not to utilize👌🤟. Stay tuned - the rest are comin down in short order…
