First week of flower is over and the stretch is on. Already started crushing and bending some branches on the taller plants to keep them as short as possible. They are really starting to fill out and the sour sorbet was fast to start popping pistils. I started some defoliation and cleaned up a few of the bottom branches. They need some more work over the next few days. I started them on a little maxibloom. I will increase it as I lower the maxigro over the next couple weeks. No water change this week and the ph is holding steady with no adjustments. Nutrients pumping 24 hours a day. Should see some nice fuzzy tops developing by the end of next week. I got some clones rooting from all but the twisted helix. They will be getting dusted with sugar cane pollen.

This is going to be a scattered Summer, as I have had enough with plants being stolen from my property 2 years running. So I am sharing Pheno's this summer with Friends and Family, throughout this local area... My seed-gathering hit a spectacular spell this winter, and there are simply not enough years left to grow all of the Treasures I have acquired. And there are some juicy specimens. For the purposes of maximizing a single diary, I am going to check in with and keep a loose running diary on these 8 selected Phenotypes. They are all going to be following a set routine, unlike any previous grows. Pre-loading the soil in the outdoors location will be the Norm, it’s something I have never done. Using specific Soil Amendments and Mulch applications will be new ground for me, as these are all proven and successful steps to take, in producing Nutrient rich Soil and a fully developed plant at harvest. Week 15 Day 99 (20/11/2020): Unfortunately did not have time today to take pictures or check them because have been quite busy. Day 100 (21/11/2020): Woow day 100 today, which seems a bit crazy but I think the girls just need another month and they will be ready for harvest. It has been a great grow so far and although 100 days seems like a lot, the girls have definitely come really far. I did notice that the leaves on the top of both of the girls are getting a bit more yellow and less of that deep green colour. After searching what could be the cause for the top leaves turning yellow, it seems that it is because they are too close to the lamp. They have grown super tall so the lamp is currently at its highest so unfortunately there is nothing we can do but hopefully it won’t affect them too negatively. Day 101 (22/11/2020)💧: Measured the pH of the girls today before watering and RHC1 was at 5.76 and RHC2 was at 5.92 which means it needs to be increased slightly. I wonder why it keeps dropping because apparently the BioBizz soil is supposed to maintain the pH pretty well but I guess these are big girls and they must be taking in more nutrients. So I watered them with the usual 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of TopMax. And on top of that I gave RHC1 0.75ml of pH+ to increase the pH by 0.5 points and gave RHC2 0.5ml of pH+ to increase it by roughly 0.3 points which should take them both to 6.2. The buds are definitely fattening up more and the trichomes are looking like lovely purple snow on the buds! Day 102 (23/11/2020): Not that many updates today, but they are doing well after the watering and some of the flowers at the very bottom that always kind of wilt on the day of watering are back up again. I should have thought of cutting them off before maybe... Day 103 (24/11/2020): Girls are looking beautiful, managed to get a close-up picture that shows how red the buds are quite well. I really need to look for my loupe because I want to see those trichomes closer up and see if it’s the trichomes or the actual buds that are red. The buds of the two girls do look quite different from each other though, definitely easy to tell them apart. Day 104 (25/11/2020)💧: Today I watered the girls with 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom and 1.5ml of TopMax . The lower leaves and buds of girl #1 are definitely not strong enough to hold themselves up just before the watering. I think also because the buds are taking up the most nutrients and towards the end of the 2 days it is not enough for the lower stems. So not sure what to do about these but I guess I can cut them off if they do not recover tomorrow. Day 105 (26/11/2020): Took some lovely videos of the girls today 😍 they are growing so big they should be ready in just a few more weeks I think.

I think I found the one! --- Both of the Garlic Budder phenos (OG#1 and OG#2) are getting pretty dank! --- Both have been curing for a good 6-7 months (since 12/13/24) and now taste completely different! The #2 pheno now has a pungent earthy fuel profile which has made her a keeper! The #1 pheno is more on the purple sweeter terp profile side, which is not really enough to be a keeper, but the smoke is definitely smoother and terpier than before. --- Still searching for more keepers, but now have a potential mother to breed with. Getting hyped! --- Wow curing really does make a huge difference! --- As for the Gorilla Goat phenos, they have been curing for about 3 months (since 04/08/25) and taste okay but nothing special. The #1 pheno still has a pretty loud lemon cleaner nose, but nothing to special on the smoke. Yet. I think. --- Also, for this cycle, plan to probably reduce the 18/6 harvest flip from 7 days down to 4 days. Growth looks healthy and green so I’m happy! --- Wow TKO is bushy and getting enormous! She has already started to fill in the front left quadrant of the tent. - [16:23]: Alright! Time to start scrogging and training out the canopy. Let’s go! --- Temporarily took the PVC scrog frame out of the tent. - [16:35]: Okay time to re-string the frame! --- Like always, used mason string for the netting and double-looped each screw. Strung the vertical lines before weaving the horizontal lines over and under the vertical lines. --- Also covered the top of each corner with foil and masking tape. - [17:14]: Done! Scrog frame is re-strung and looking great! --- Set the frame aside for a bit. - [17:15]: Going to give Vivosun’s High CFM (cubic feet per minute) Support Kit a try. --- Once the scrog frame is installed, the back area is difficult to access. So need to install the kit before placing the frame back in. --- The kit came with 4 identical support bars which snap snugly onto the vertical tent bars. --- Assembly was pretty straight forward and the bars snapped and screwed together with ease. --- To make the process a lot easier, I installed all the corners first. The bars easily snapped into the corner pieces and once fully secured, the whole tent feels a lot more stable. The kit also widens the tent to keep the fans from hitting the sides. --- Left the front bar off for now (only have the front corners installed). --- To ensure that the support bars are level, decided to place the bottom (back and front) bars just above where the tent bars snap together (about 41 inches from the floor).
