Gave them their 3rd and final heavy defoliation this week. Had lots of useless side branching that will just shadow out the good stuff and cause them to not ripen properly, a lot of this growth was due to the unintended extra 10 days they had in VEG before I noticed the timer wasn't doing what I asked it to do, just one of those things. Always a surprise in the grow room no matter how much you try to prepare and problem solve. I also had an air line manifold blow out this week which was very strange to see. Caught it early so girls didn't go without air for to long and I have 2 air pumps running so 1 going down is only a minor issue but still a great example of the random mishaps that occur when growing. If its one thing that experience has taught me its that less is more when it comes to how many colas you try to fit into a space. Do to many and you'll just end up with a load of mids, battling humidity problems and stress of keeping tons of half ripe colas falling all over onto each other come week 6 or 7. Everything is going great so far, no issues, although I have noticed some of the white hairs on the budlets have slight ginger tops (only a very small few) I have read in the past that this can be a sign of stress and potentially they might flip the hermie but I've done nothing to stress them so I am hoping this is just a abnormality from growing under LED. Boosted the nutrients up to 1000PPM now to let them feed heavy and pump those buds up. Bud forming so fast!!!!!! Comparing to previous plants I growth in witch I used biobizz light soil I changed kind of soil in this one I’m using canna professional and the different is quite noticeable I’m really satisfied. I was worried that the small box I’m growing in would eventually make the plant suffer but it’s totally not, the plant is responding well!! Started with the maximum dose of bud ignitor by advanced nutrient. I’m really exited for this lady can’t wait to se the beautiful complete resinous buds.. keeping growing with LOVE 💚

Woche 6 / Vegi Woche 5 Der Grow: Die Pflanze und die neuen Triebe haben sich sich bis zur Wochenmitte, gut entwickelt. Daher habe ich die Triebe ein drittes und letztes Mal getoppt. Die Triebe habe ich danach, mit LST Clips, alle auf eine Ebene ausgerichtet. Jetzt bin ich bei 24 Hauptrieben und werde damit in die Blüte starten. Wann ich auf die Blüte umstelle kann ich noch nicht sagen. Bis es soweit ist, muss ich erst das richtige gießen mit der Sonnenerde, lernen. Nachdem ich die Pflanze erst einmal ordentlich über Wässert hatte, gab es 5 Tage lang kein Wasser mehr. Die Bodenfeuchtigkeit ist in der Zeit auf 38% gefallen. Die Pflanze hat zu dem Zeitpunkt schon recht traurig ausgeschaut und die neuen Triebe sind auch nur noch sehr langsam gewachsen. Daher war es klar, dass mittlerweile zu wenig Wasser in der Erde ist. Deshalb habe ich die Erde dann mit 4 Litern gegossen wobei dann ca. 2 Liter Drain im Untersetzer gelandet sind. Dadurch war klar, dass die Erde schon zu trocken war um das Wasser zuhalten. Da ich aber eine ordentliche Drainageschicht im Topf habe und es somit keine Staunässe geben kann, habe ich das Wasser im Untersetzer gelassen. 3 Stunden später, hatte die Erde das Wasser im Untersetzer, aufgenommen. Die Bodenfeuchtigkeit ist in der Zeit auf 48% gestiegen. Die neuen Triebe haben dann, auch sehr schnell wieder angefangen, zuwachsen. Spoiler, die Pflanze schaut auch mittlerweile deutlich besser aus. Auf den alten Blättern kann man zwar deutlich sehen, dass die Pflanze in den letzten Tagen ordentlich gelitten hat, aber die neuen Blätter schauen alle gut aus. Mein neuer Plan für die Bewässerung ist jetzt auf 42% abtrocknen zulassen und dann soviel zu gießen, dass die Bodenfeuchtigkeit, maximal auf 46% hochgeht. Hiermit hoffe ich, den Sweetspot von zu viel oder zu wenig Wasser zu finden. In meinen vergangenen Grows war es einfach. Erde satt gießen und Topf täglich anheben. Ist der Topf deutlich leichter, wieder gießen. Bei einem 40 Liter Topf mit richtiger Erde, ist es vorbei mit anheben. Der Topf ist vor dem gießen so schwer das man ihn kaum vom Boden bekommt und nachdem gießen auch. Hier merkt man kaum noch einen Unterschied. Keeping natural form. Blackberry gum is huge as I heard from others. Did some heavy defoliation.. first time ever so it's an experiment. Flooded my tent with no tray... Needed to redo connections on the tubing... Then flooded with a new tray, needed to secure the AQUAVALVES on one autopot base.... Looking good. Still running 24 hrs... Rock and roll 🤘

I won't say it was a perfect growing experience, because i kept running into problems with keeping the lights a good distance away, but that was the most difficult problem I faced. It was definitely a very successful do-over. Both of these plants easily were 2 times the size (width/height) of my 1st sour stomper attempt, they yielded at least double and in Plant A's case...triple. And all by the few simple changes of using LEDs earlier in the grow, larger pots, being in a tent and having one tiny duct fan. My nutrient regimen stayed pretty low and for the most part the same as previous grow. However in my opinion one of the most crucial differences was having them in the 3 gallon pots. They didn't dry out as quickly and they were able to be soaked more effectively than the 1 gallon smart pot had been. For me this was a very important grow on grow diaries as this was basically Part 2 of my first indoor, man made grow. Learning these minimal differences in how to have plants turn out enormously better was essential to any future indoor grows I might do, even though I'm sure i just skimmed the surface on potential problems that could occur and how to fix them. The buds from this grow were not only dense enough to be worth smoking, but every piece of the plant including its leaves will be useful for pressing. The couple presses i did on this plant so far had a beautiful golden color, an amazing smell, and had zero plant byproducts inside it from using the 90 micron bags. The only downfall with the micron bags and the pucks are they retain a fair amount of the pressed rosin, the only solutions I can think of would be to add them to an edibles mixture or to stack them all up and continue repressing. All in all this was a fantastic grow, and I'm very grateful for all the support and for mephisto for making such a solid strain.

Oct. 29 - start of week 5 and after a couple of days she’s starting to come around. Since the pinch it was like she started to crumple in on herself so hopefully she’s ready to blow up. Might’ve been too rough on er. Thanks for checking er out!👍 Oct 31 update - busy day, she needed a lot of attention, some LST and oh yeah, water. Let er dry out an extra day and hit her with another 2L. Think I’ll up the Volume this week. Fim paid off and we should run out 4 big colas on this pinch alone. Staked er down to get more light to the stem. Now were talkn😉👍. Nov. 2 update - snipped a fan leaf to try and get the tip underneath some good light. She should make one helluva cola eventually. Plant got a full 1gal. flush with phd & calmag water only. Nov. 3 update - so a busy but important week. The leaf I snipped yesterday has provided all kinds of light to 3 lower growth tips so she’s startn to get er bush on real well. We bent er down and away to the side of the pot a little more😉. This parts lot so of fun, She’s lookn goood👍 Nov. 4 update - she’s really picked up her growth and recovered fully now. The girls loved the rinse. Had to snip her two largest fan leaves cause I found a light deprived family of potential colas underneath👍. HATE to do it but has to happen. Week 6 come’n up and she’s lookn good. Background This one is gonna be fimmed out and defo’d as a comparative to its manifolded kush sister. They’ll spend a first week or so under a cfl assembly while the last harvest dries out in the cabinet. This is our 2nd grow of an NL strain and this one should be typical of NL in terms of resilience. That said, she’s a former cup winner so we’re hopeful for supreme quality this time around. 👍 Gonna jack up the nute shed. and supplements heavy throughout the grow in the hopes of really testing the limits of my grow space (approx. 2sq/ft). Welcome to week 7 of flower! Our new camera should be in this week so I'll be able to capture better photos! Things are just grooving along at a nice pace, I will be looking to check the trichomes this week to see where everythings at but I know for sure we still got some time left especially for Fuel D.og. Beginning of Week 5. Getting ready for transplant. We made our own potting mix and compost tea with the following ingredients. Potting Mix : 10 Quarts Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil (Base) 5 Quarts Earth Worm Casting 1 Cup Flower Girl 5 Quarts Pearlite 2.5 Tablespoons Happy Frog Japanese Maple Fertilizer (Mixed in) 2 Teaspoons Vigoro (Mixed into top 3" of Soil) 2 Teaspoons Happy Frog Japanese Maple Fertilizer (Mixed into top 3' of Soil) Compost Tea: 2 Cups of Worm Casting (Steeped) .25 Cups Flower Girl (Steeped) 1 Cup of Happy Frog Japanese Maple Fertilizer (Steeped) I wasn't entirely sure how a Compost Tea would work with feeding, so the guy at the gardening center said it wouldn't hurt to use the compost as the base liquid to water for the week, and it would be safe to add the typical nutrients ( Grow big, Molasses, Liquid Seawee, Big Bloom and Nitrogen). Guess we'll find out and hopefully I wont destroy my plant. When transplanting we form fitted the orignal pot into the new 5 gallon fabric pot. Filled the hole and covered the rootball with Mycorrhizae.

Checked for mites - found a black one a week ago and squished it - defoliation prob helped a great deal coz no signs anywhere of any larvae, Love the genetics of this plant. The uniformity of the leaves just stunning - would be a good mother - did try cloning a few cuttings but 3 wks into flower... It is a myth you can't do cuttings in early flower but it is way harder than doing them like 2 wks before and before you throw the hormones all over the place by transitioning LOL and as I can't be bothered to do it properly - they will most likely all die 😁 just did coz hate to throw away a stem cutting 😏 - lol they all died Day 62 300ml ph6.5 water Day 63 3:1000ml Big Bloom 2:1000ml Tiger Bloom 1.5:1000ml Calmag 7:1000ml Unsulphured Molasses in 670ml pH6.5 rainwater

Sorry I haven’t been posting to much been crazy busy but here’s an update of my grow using the sp 150 by @marshydro_official2 , ladies are loving it and are very happy besides the obvious heat problem I have going on in my tent. I have slowly been getting the temps of the tent down and hopefully the ladies bounce back up , they have all entered flower and I’m pumped to watch them bulk up 🙏🏽😁 I have purple punch , stardawg , strawberry cheese cake, and a pink kush Cbd . I have also just started a couple GSC and one is showing some crazy mutations as a seedling already 🤯

This strain was a breeze to grow. The purple phenotype is hands down some of the best herb I have ever tried.
