Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! Flowering has really taken off. Kolas are thickening up and smelling amazing... The plants are still a little short. I think I may have stunted them in veg, possibly by giving them some bloom nutrients too early. Was a recommendation from "Mr. Canuck's Grow" (not sure that it was a good one).... Brewing a fungal-dominated compost tea for flower rn, going to administer tomorrow and show the results next week... also trellis didn't make much difference with the uneven canopy, maybe I installed it too late 🤷‍♂️

Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2, regando cada 72 horas e intentando mantener la humedad un poco alta al principio. Las 5 empezaron a tirar pelitos, se las ve bien sanas tienen buen color y tamaño bueno, seguirán creciendo estas semanas espero. Las próximas semanas vamos viendo cómo avanzan. Diesel Automatic is growing and growing. She is still showing the odd color pattern on the leaves, I'm not super concerned yet, but I asked @James from RQS to take a look, waiting on his expert opinion.

Start of week 5 for Space panda Really starting to fall in love with the bud structure of this strain😍 Pictures dont seem to do justice to how fristy she really is. While we have the 2nd pheno now in week 2 shes deserving a little defoliation to let her lowers get some light.

I messed up big on this one so I think I was very lucky to get what I did...she had problems the moment I switch to 12/12 she even went 3 weeks with no watering at one point so I decided to just flush and chop so I could Lower the light for the purple glue

What a monster she is,hasnt even started blooming,,huuuuuge bush. Lower leaves show stress signs of what do you think?

Day 21: I think these girls are amazing. They have been growers from the off and never fail to impress at every turn. There stretch is finished I think and they are a good height to build some buds on with a little head space if needed. Their development for 21 days is amazing. They look so much further along than they are and seeing how they are stacking up below is a welcome sight. FFT#1 Has remained short and wide so far with a lot of mini versions of herself around the various quad branches. She has some nice chunky budlets on top and will hopefully use all her space to make them. FFT#5 Is huge and very happy to go big. She has impressed me with her stretch in all directions. Buds are stacking well among the podgy stems. Approx 20 mains that could create some baseball bats when finished. FFT#7 Is still way out in front for size and development. she is nearly 3ft and has a very good circumference at the back. There is plenty of room for her lateral growth too so she could be a major yield In the room. I will be cleaning out some leaf to get air moving through the canopy but won't be doing a defol as such as I want to see what they do fully leafed.

Sorry i'm stoned, Tomorrow i'll add comment😎 She grow really crazy, and she need some defoliation. At next run for sure Topping for babies. I expect that she will be taller than wider😃

she's seems happy going into flower.

I have been flashing for two weeks now I thought it was ready last week but this planet is slow to harvest I think a week or two it will be ready Left in two days of darkness to encourage finish. Worked on half of the plant

Super solid canopy between these 2 ladies. Nice sea of colas brewing up. No vertical growth really to speak of. Just some flower mass. Very happy and healthy and looking very vibrant. Looking sexy in the garden lol. They got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up their treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as they are blooming strong now. Gotta keep those engines well fuelled. Response was stellar. Happy happy happy. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Did she start flowering ? Usually I see the same with pheno ants when I switch off the light for 36 hours to start flowering and after the top is light green. This is how flowering starts. I am not sure about her ? Weather is shit anyways....
