16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 21.4.25: Hope everyone had a great 420! Northern lights is absolutely beautiful, great structure. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time, but I have added an LST clips as one of the middle tops was much talker than the others. I am trying very hard to exercise some much necessary self restraint here! 😅 it is becoming increasingly difficult! I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Maybe 2 leaves have very thin overlapping blades. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. I removed the plant ties and retied the plant after watering. Less ties are necessary as the plant has moulded and stayed in that structure. 25.4.25: Northern Lights was much overdue for a retie of the fabric ties. After this session of LST, the plant is absolutely huge. I really could easily fill the tent with just her. The fact that this plant could fill out a 4ft² space absolutely proves that autoflowering strains can outdo photoperiods. Start of the second week of flower. Things are looking great these are from bag seeds so sexing has been well drama in the grow room to say the least. Much bigger then expected that was good and bad ive had one boy so far and one is questionable its in the pics also my punch breath still hasnt shown anything but its a beast and looks promising very female like growth patterns super stinky too she always was since her first set of real leaves she was a skunk

Very sad looking little friend... Young leaves do look better, but she's gonna stay looking like this because the damage was done! Underwatered and underfed for over a week over new years' plus the tiny metal pot, can't be good for a lil bean just trying to make it in the world. Even the plant of the same cultivar next to it (as you can see in video- but is my housemate's baby so no diary) is still recovering from the same fate. Will spend some time checking out other people's grows of the same bean to see if she's particularly finicky or if we've been particularly neglectful 😂 still fun though!

Just recorded a video this week. Nothing has changed. They are vibing with some bigger sisters. Some plain water is sprayed every other day. The first seeds that popped were transplanted to a bigger container and some others already popped

A great run! Had a ton of fun filling this whole tent in with one plant! I think I way do this again with an overgrown mother.

The addition of an enzyme has produced amazing results that were shocking and worrying at first. Massive rise in EC and PH every 24 hours from 5.3 - 6.8. Research yet no sign of any harm to the plants, in fact they seem very happy! The enzymes has created an environment friendly to the beneficial microbes and fungi that has lead to a feeding frenzy (Which wouldn't have happened ad I used Hygrozyme from the start.). EC rises a point or two as the microbes and plants expel waste and create a plethora of negative charged hydrogen ions. Thus, the PH rises. Never above 6.8, strangely. Because the microbes are eating and shitting so well, they have added a lot of chilated nutrients that are easier for the plants to uptake at a wider range of PH (Yes, some as high as 6.8). The fact that there are so many bunches of calyxes sprouting and exploding, filling in the flower space is proof enough for me. Everyday I try to arrange the branches in the most efficient way. On the 14 th day I removed just a handful of fan leaves. With the lower plant count they are not shading each other so much. I managed to keep the canopy pretty even so far even though they are completely different strains and even three different phenos of runtz x LC. 3 plants get 10 x 4:20 around 1,5 l Other 5 get 10 x 4:20 and 3x 4 minutes another 450 ml = ca 1,9 l Up until now I think it’s my best run ever. High EC is the key with high intensity lights. It changed the whole game. Now I’m feeding 2.5 even to freshly rooted clones. For now I try to keep runoff EC below 5. I think I’m not there yet to push more because I don’t supply enough co2 and my temps are a bit lower then ideal especially in Veg. Honestly they are getting a little bigger then expected. Very Healthy girls so far ! Watering every 4 Days now. Nothing special. No training yet. Lowered Light 2 inches to increase PAR. I had to move locations of tent. Humidity is a little high in this room. Running dehumidifier at night and changed light cycle to 20 Hours of Light, 4 off to decrease time in high humidity. Humidifier is putting in work. Averaging 60-65 during day and 70- 75 during night. Im feeling like the girl on the right is showing different gene traits. Eager to see if there is any major differences in the coming weeks !
