I removed a couple fan leaves and immature undergrowth. It's been a couple weeks in flower and no bud sites formed yet. I'm surprised. This strain must have a longer growth cycle over 9 weeks. Or she's just a late bloomer. Her pistils and first small bud sites are coming out after a bit over 2 weeks in flower. It is very bushy and thirsty so I trimmed it. This strain is showing less heat stress than the predecessor under the same light.

Day 70, 100% cloudy with some ambers. Shame about the main cola fox tailing, and a nightmare grow really. From heat stress, and cal mag deficiency and nute burn pretty much 6 weeks it’s been one thing after the other. But she kept growing, and with continued efforts it’s looking like I have been rewarded. The smell is strong!! The sticky fingers speaks for themselves. Scissors are ruined 😂. Will hang dry now for at least 5 days before another little trim / tidy up prior to jarring / curing.

Day 64

Week 4 now and on full out cruise control. Nothing to report as the plants are doing great. Replaced a carbon filter causing heat issues due to it being plugged.

02/01/18 - Week 7 / Day 38 Added PK 13/14 last week as per the CANNA COCO schedule I've been following for this grow - the buds look a little more plump and I cant wait to see what the next few weeks have in store. The smell is amazing - sweet and citrusy, with a candy aroma. There is great variation in the smell of the resins from the 4 GZ plants - one of them smells like a sweet tangerine while others smell less citrusy and more sharp/pine smelling. There doesn't seem to be much of a variation in phenotype, one has a great inter-nodal distance and the other three look about the same in terms of stature. Two look identical in the shapes of their bud, one has very GG4 looking buds and the last one has the least developed buds. I think this is because it has the most lateral growth and multiple bud sites which cant get the light from the canopy - I got a little greedy and didn't want to trim these away when defoliating early flower but I looking back I regret not doing that as the other three (which didn't have nearly as many smaller side branches) are doing excellently. Alternatively, this plant could just be a couple days behind lol. More updates on 8th. Happy New Year!

Week 10: I loved growing this strain, it smelled so fruity while the buds were on the plant. Towards the end of flowering the buds looked sugar dipped as described on the website. The sap from inside the stems smells like skittles and sugar lol which was a nice surprise! Most pistils are Amber so idk what the THC/CBD ratios are going to be. Il give an estimate once buds are cured for 2 weeks or so! So I’ve managed to get some street weed to compare alongside my own weed and I’ve added the pictures to the harvest so you guys can see them. I tried to pick the best street weed from about 4 varieties so here we go... The street weed is called Wedding Cake, my weed is obviously Smoothie and I suppose what I want to know is how the street weed looks, does it look healthy? Any guesses as to how it was dried or cured if even? The first noticeable thing is that the street weed stems are huge and the sugar leaves seem to be left on the plant to dry too. Although I did leave sugar leaves on this time I feel that it’s not very professional. I have smoked a joint of the wedding cake and it’s not all that great, feel a bit sedated/couch locked but not high or happy if you know what I mean :) but yeah please let me know what you think in the comments :) Curing Update: (1) Been curing for a week and buds are definitely smoking much better now, the taste and burn still isn’t amazing as it needs a few more weeks curing but it’s unique and exotic. It’s very strong when it comes to THC, because it still needs further curing you could smoke a whole joint and think damn that’s still too fresh to get me blazed. By the end of the joint you would be struggling to keep a conversation or stand up, Stoned eyes that even eye drops won’t cure :’D and it’s also a real head high in my opinion, audio/visuals definitely enhanced too, everything is extremely bright, sharp and sounds great! I don’t really care about time of day smoke as i could need something stronger at different times for pain etc but this is definitely a Nighttime smoke, it hits so hard that the best thing you can do is put on some music and close your eyes or watch a movie. An amazing strain for zoning out entirely into some chill music and if you need weed to deal with strong physical or mental pain or sleep problems then I would recommend giving this a go as so far it has been a lifesaver for me. Curing Update: (2) So I think the buds have been curing for just over 2 weeks now and they are looking great and smoking pretty well too. A few more days drying wouldn’t have hurt them but I’m not worried as my Blue Cheese and Pineapple Express harvests are just around the corner! I added some lovely photos and a video to show you guys how it looks And I’m just about to blaze up a joint from the last photo and tell you all how it smokes too... (Lights up joint) Slightly damp on lighting it up although it burns near perfect. Instant hit on the back of the throat with smooth/mango flavors. I feel a bit dizzy quite quickly and want to sit down and listen to music after a few tokes followed by a relaxed or mellow feeling. I’m about halfway through the joint now and I’m pretty stoned. Definitely sweet and smooth like blueberry also sherbet sweet like mango! I’m almost finished my joint now and I suppose to sum up I’d say that it’s much like the blueberry smoothness you expect mixed with the strength from a well grown mango. I felt that the effects are great if your in a nice comfortable setting, get relaxed, be creative, watch a movie or even get ready to sleep. I would avoid anything that requires a lot of effort. Personally I’ve had minimal problems with getting to sleep and with anxiety while taking this throughout the day and would highly recommend it! It’s the best thing I’ve grown so far :) Il leave a final review on the buds in 2 weeks, until then take care and happy growing! Curing Update (3) - 05/03/20 So I’ve finished the smoothie buds and I have to say they were great. The only negative was it’s my first time drying buds with trim and they could have done with a little longer drying. I made some canna butter from 3G of trim and 2.25g of bud. I made ginger cupcakes with salted caramel icing. You guys can see it cause I added a photo. I can only eat 2 per day with a heavy tolerance - sedative cupcakes hahah. Our Purple Urkle by Zamnesia has reached 16 buds. I'm growing it a little more to make sure it doesn't go into flowering with small brunches but now we're there, a few days and it will go into flowering and it will be very exciting you can bet on it. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went into overfertilization due to the obvious slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but it was about to go into crisis, so we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below. The ideal when topping is probably to start with a gradual release fertilized soil or start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which by itself I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less or rather nothing. 8/10 - Got around 50g per plant, very frosty and compact too for an autoflower. Wanted to share the final product and the whole journey in once. Hope you like it. This week was tricky. A lot of stress for both me & the plants. They were droopy & not drinking water. I had them in too small of containers so I transplanted them thinking that was the problem. They’re in 5 gallon grass root pots now. I topped them with craft blend & diatomaceous earth, rice hills as well. They’re in Build A Soil 3.0 now. I just fed them compost tea too. They seem to be doing better besides the short one in the back left.

The pistols are turning a brown colour this is the end of week 2 going into week 3. Does anyone know if this is normal with LED lighting? I have put a close up on the video.

Coltivarla è stato semplice e ci sono tantissimi fiorellini piccoli e molto duri. E' molto dolce ma non sento terpeni Zkittlez o Gelato. A presto con l'aggiornamento finale 🖐️ 😘❤️

Es wurde geerntet. ✂️6️⃣6️⃣ ✅ Die trichome sind zwar immer noch nicht komplett milchig, aber die Dame zwittert wieder mehr und daher kann ich mit halb trüb auch gut leben. 😁 Mit der langen Reife hat sie auch Fuchsschwänze gebildet und sie ist mir insgesamt zu blättrig...

Not finished with the harvest yet will update when I’ve done a second trim on everything and weighed in. The pics so far just a branch from each plant. 3 slightly different phenotypes. The buds I’d swear have a pinkish hue. Very strange colour came through in the end almost has a purple look about it. Very happy with results and yield. The yeild could be much bigger given space and time for veg but for my needs This was an awesome grow. Really nice sticky hard buds on the most. One of the Phenotypes was a bigger yield and much tighter fatter buds but all look great.✌️🏻 I should also say a big thank you to Barney’s for providing free seeds for this grow. It’s a pleasure growing your girls. So smoking this stuff properly tonight, yeah it’s good. Very heavy warm stoned feeling after a few spliffs.. my tolerance is quite high but this stuff has rocked my night. Really pleased with the results after curing for a few weeks I think I found a new favourite🤤🤤😂😂well until the next one. The buds are nice and dense and really have a nice firm feel to them. They also had a fairly decent covering of trichomes that sit in the herb well, it’s surprisingly smooth to say it’s not cured yet. It’s gonna be beautiful stuff oh yass yass yass. Update/ getting super tight now, it’s going to be very difficult to keep my hands off it for too long🤤😂 So a friend came around to see me yesterday. I let him have a good smoke of Phantom OG. He left with both fists clenched and thumbs pointing skyward. This cannabis really is top class, and really does have medicinal value. I’d say it’ll make a great stress killer for anyone I think it’ll quash any anxiety issues going on as well✌️🏻😌✌️🏻
