Cali Crasher is growing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She got some heavy training today. The light schedule was also changed to 12/12. Everything is looking really good. Well I decided I had to pull the plug on this girl with all the weird weather we've been having. I've been pulling yellowing fan leaves off her for a couple weeks now and with our 2nd heat wave and all the smoke & ash thrown in for bad measure... it's been truly weird. Yesterday was a day for the record books around here - it was so dark I could tell my pets were spooked. Even they knew it wasn't supposed to be this dark in daytime. Probably how animals react to things like a solar eclipse. If they haven't got somebody nearby to reassure them of some sense of normal - the alarm bells start going off. I hadn't really gotten the impression this girl was all that fragrant during the flowering process UNTIL I was washing all that ash off her this morning - then I was like - WOW this stiff is pretty intense in the nose. One thing I'm pretty sure of is that the sun ain't coming out for a couple more days the ways the smoke be flowing around here. We'll see. Two more plants on the patio but they aren't far behind. September 13 >> Debudded the Widow late this afternoon to make space in my shed to harvest Jack Herer in the morning. She was still a little moist as I harvested her 3 days ago - but it hasn't been that hot. The smoke is still hiding the sun and the atmosphere is labeled "unhealthy". Hung her up in my front bedroom to finish the drying process. I should note the passing of reggae giant (many say inventor) Toots Hibbert, of Toots and the Maytals last Friday. I went looking for some pics of the last show I saw him at and coincidentally it turned out to be one year ago today, September 13, 2019 at the Independant in San Francisco. I was lucky to have seem him a few times. So I uploaded about 30 seconds worth of Pressure Drop from that show. RIP Buddy. 😪 ====================================================== September 21 >> Finished hand trimming the Widow yesterday while mostly listening to the last round of the US Open. In September... while they're playing Stanley Cup playoffs too. Very weird time.... both these things normally happen in June every year. The buds weighed in at basically 8 ounces (227 grams). The trim came in at 325 grams - and in this case I use the Trimbag - although I don't think she was really dry enough to get proper function outa the bag. I still spent over 6 hours hand trimming the remainder AFTER the Trimbag in this case. It wasn't really a problem because I had like 10 hours of US Open coverage for 4 days to burn thru. In the process of turning all that trim into hash at the moment... because I'm all configured to go at the moment after making Wonder Pie hash last week. I'll stick it in the garage to dry for a few days and add the weights later. One thing I've noticed that's probably pandemic-related is 90% isopropyl alcohol has become very hard to find (haven't had to look for like 6 months because I had a couple bottles that lasted). I've used it to clean my glass bong/dab rigs for years. 70% is there - but even that now it's like you have to ask for it. Times change. ====================================================== September 26 >> Weighed out the hash collected from the trim... 12.94 grams 120+160 micron = 1.47 g 73 micron = 5.50 g 25 micron= 5.97 g

Start of week 5 - plants almost died from extreme heat, unfortunately I was away for a couple days and came home to this. Plant 3 has not recovered after feeding and I may have to harvest her... really not worth it though, buds are not any size yet. I have a new 185cfm exhaust fan coming, which will replace my current 100cfm exhaust fan. Hopefully this will get my temps back into the safe zone so I can salvage one of the plants.

Harvest is coming 😁. Weather conditions are changing: more rain and humidity. Daylight 11h45 The Big Foot flowers are meaty and resinous, some of the terpenes are turning in rusty colors Mid’ week: plant is going to a dark room (dry and ventilated) during 72h, no more watering. The Cut is programmed a day of waning moon, during low tide.

Today I fertilized the last time and for me it is always like a little before "graduation", no plan 😁 Well in any case they smell really very good and intense and there are still 2 weeks until harvest, I think, but everything works well I think I always leave the trichomes up to 50/50 tires anyway 💣😁🤤 Otherwise I will defoliate the week that comes and remove old leaves that are more than 60 percent broken depends on how they look. Until then, have a nice week😁👍💪

Had to rearrange everything and start using the 5 x 5 tent for all the flowering. Put the 11 Timber Grow Vero cobbs in the tent. Had to customize the frame to fit it in. Customize is code work for cut up. Did not change the cobb spacing at all, just made the overall frame slightly smaller. They fit good. The tent is bright. Had to install a 6" fan to the tent to get all the air moving and keep temperature reasonable. It's slightly higher, I will work on ways to lovering it. The OGKZ is bulking up and leaves are continue to turn darker all over the plant. A very pretty sight. The smell is stronger and buds are very frosty. Looks like the are getting heavy, might have to watch if they need. The hairs just started to turn orange, this plant may finish us sooner than thought. Cheers.

10 days of darkness during the flush begins. Had great results with Wanda and her genetics. Blessed for a first grow. Cut Wanda down at the end of the week. She’s now drying. I will be giving a thorough review for my harvest diary. Excited to share what I’ve experienced and learned from this grow.

Week 4 Update – Progress and Adjustments 🌱 It’s been another eventful week in my grow tent! Here’s how things are shaping up: GHF#2 Update: I decided to let GHF#2 go and followed the community's advice to rename #3 to AN#3. I’ve been preparing my osmosis water with CalMag Xtra, bringing the EC to 0.35, and adding nutrients to reach a total EC of 1.2. AN#3 This plant has been a challenge from the start, struggling with deformed cotyledons and unusual leaf patterns. However, there’s finally some good news! The roots are healthy and reaching the pot’s edges, and growth is picking up steadily. Adjusting the pH and nutrients seems to have helped a lot. BioBizz#1 I’ve moved this one to the larger tent, and it’s been performing well despite a slightly yellowish tint. It’s now on its way to flowering (currently at BT2). Unfortunately, the usual CalMag deficiency has reappeared, even with 1.3ml/L CalMag and 0.05g/L Epsom salt in the feed. AN#4 This plant is thriving with no visible deficiencies, drinking 1L per day. However, I noticed pre-flowering signs while still on an 18/4 light schedule. Has anyone else experienced this with photoperiod plants? Otherwise, everything looks great, and I’ve been feeding it at an EC of 1.5. Container Size Feedback I’ve realized that 9L pots are a bit too small for my setup. I’m watering 3L every two days now, and I believe 12-15L pots would be ideal for future grows. Timelapse Recovery! For AN#3, I identified a potential issue with the pH of the drain water—it was as low as 5.3 after its first feeding with Advanced Nutrients. Before that, it only received plain tap water. I’ve corrected this with pH-adjusted water (6.6) and nutrients at an EC of 0.9. You can see its steady recovery in the timelapse! Overall, things are coming together, and I’m excited to see how the plants perform in the coming weeks. Thanks for following along!

This is a must grow strain for anyone that likes a good balanced strong sativa , it grew well despite dripper and timer issues and had a really good medicinal side for crohns disease whilst leaving me energised and uplifted . This plant continues to stretch right until harvest even with heavy defoliating it ended up 150cm tall. The smell is really strong and differs between pheno types. One grew with almost no pistils/stigmas and was very frosty, this one could have continued Even after 9 weeks flowering . Overall this has taken over as my favourite sativa ! I WILL grow this again for sure and would recommend it to anyone who likes sativa or citrus smelling/tasting flower 💚 NB: I didn't weigh the bud wet so ignore the guess in the grow report.

Lemon tree can endure pain, cold & hot weather, seedling is really a strong genetic, huge root mass for 2 week seedling, now I'm using Biobizz soil + dry leaves on top from past harvest

Week is going good aside from me accidently cutting off a stem on pheno 2. If I can properly save the cutting though I might have a chance at another female. Pheno 3 I'm hoping can make some comeback as I really want to flower the plant, its not dead by any means but the way its growing I just cant see it allowing itself to flower the top leaves were barely growing so I topped. Hopefully positive changes within the next week.

She has made it to day 35😍 I was away for most of the week. When I got back I did some more lst and took a couple leaves off. If I didn't stretch her out the plant would have been huge. The plant is also starting to flower now. 😍

¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!
