After 24h of drying and deep wet trim the weight is 1335 grams (2.94 lbs) of top rock solid buds as this plants don't produce popcorns. So it's legit to expect 600 grams of premium weed. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Week 6 Summary: First off, Happy New Year! May the new year filled with peace, love, joy and dank buds! 😄😉 Day 36-39: Despite my heavy defoliation they seem to bounce back quite quickly every time, but this is my first grow so I could be completely wrong and slowly murdering my plants... 😅 WC1 starting to frost up, the two double buds are starting to split themselves up while stretching: WIN! WC2 and WC3 really starting to show their size compared to just a week or 2 ago, really spread out now, and starting to stretch. Day 40-42: WC2 and WC3 really stretching now. WC2 almost catching up to WC1's height, and has probably spread out the most out of all plants when you compare it to a few weeks ago. Maybe defoliating is a good thing for Autos after all? I'm stoked about these. Although WC2 and WC3 are a few days behind of frost production it's definately starting to show itself by the end of week 6. Stoked for these!! These are stinking aswell, but for now the 4AM in the tent is sweetening it up! On to week7!!!

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. One plant is flowering a few days later, this particular seed grew a bit different then the other 2 stronger and minus the 4th one "that went through shock due to the accident during transplant." Aka tipping over 😞..... The back 2 plants will be the prime crops, but some open sesame and TLC on the front left plant will amake difference,.Stay tuned....40 days left...aprox

Week 9 of Critical RQS Day 57 FLUSH WEEK!!!!! I have decided to flush the critical. Normally the critical needs 7 to 9 weeks of flowering and on week 9 . I don't see a lot of white pistils anymore and tricomes are all cloudy and some ambers it's going to be a exiting week. Net installed, last week of 18/6. I expect a lot of stretching starting this week, as a "pre-flower time" begins.

01.12 - Stretch has stopped, so I decided to change my nutrient plan and also lollipopped all of the girls during the week when I watered them. They develop really well and I look forward to see the buds growing.

On day 1 week 3 flower I am slowly readjusting blumats after reset from fertilizer clog. The flower clusters are building. The leaves are still somewhat canoeing but it seems better since I dimmed light back to 75%. On day 4 I can tell that the stretch is over now. The girls tops are still too close to the grow lights, but it is too late to top/prune the plants so I may end up with some burnt colas. I am going to take the risk and know at the bare minimum I will have all the lower bud sites that are in the proper light intensity. On day 6 the flowers are definitely getting larger.The girls are starting to put off their blueberry smell nothing strong yet but it is building :). On day 7 the girls are doing well, i look forward to seeing the buds put on weight and smell :)

Tag 112: Zeit zum Spülen bzw. Ich gebe keinen Dünger mehr. Weil die Shogun doch schon recht hell/gelb ist, aber gebe ich noch Alg a mic dazu um noch etwas grün zu erhalten. Das Wetter hier spielt mir mal mehr mal weniger in Karten, der Sommer dieses Jahr ist sehr durchwachsen 😬
