# Amnesia Haze Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B 🌱✨ ## Germination Week | Second Chances and Strong Starts Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome to another new diary and another new chapter in this project. As mentioned throughout the previous reports, I've recently adjusted the way I document my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary, allowing me to continue documenting every stage of development while selecting the best photographs from each week. The objective remains exactly the same as always: To create an honest, educational, and complete record from seed to harvest while sharing observations, successes, mistakes, lessons learned, and everything in between. And today's diary begins with one of those lessons. --- ## Not Every Germination Goes Perfectly The original plan for Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno B was exactly the same as the rest of the garden. Same germination method. Same environment. Same process. Same care. Yet growing has a way of keeping us humble. The first attempt failed. Looking back, I believe I likely overwatered the coco starter plug during the early stages. The seed germinated but never established itself properly, and ultimately failed to continue developing. Mistakes happen. Every grower experiences them. The important part is learning from them and moving forward. --- ## A Second Attempt Rather than giving up on the genetic, I decided to try again. A few days later, two new Amnesia Haze Auto seeds were placed into the Cannakan germination system. The results were exactly what we hoped to see. Healthy germination. Healthy taproots. Strong vigor. Both seeds emerged successfully and were planted directly into Plagron Lightmix rather than returning to coco starter plugs. The plan from this point forward was simple: Allow both seedlings to establish themselves and later select the strongest candidate to continue as Pheno B. The remaining seedling would eventually return to the compost pile and continue its journey in another form. Nothing wasted. Everything remains part of the cycle. --- ## Germination Using the Cannakan System For germination I used the same Cannakan system employed throughout this project. For organizational purposes, the autoflower section of the run was germinated using a second Cannakan unit, while the photoperiod section used the first. The methodology itself remained exactly the same. The seeds were placed inside using only plain water. No nutrients. No additives. No stimulants. Just water. Within approximately 24 hours healthy taproots had emerged and the seeds were ready for planting. Simple. Clean. Effective. Exactly what we hope to see. --- ## Why Only Water? One question that frequently appears during germination is: "Why not feed the seedlings immediately?" The answer remains simple. The seed already contains everything required for its first stage of life. Inside that shell are the energy reserves necessary to establish roots and begin development. At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those reserves naturally. The objective is not to feed the plant. The objective is simply to wake it up. Water is enough. --- ## Environmental Conditions Environmental conditions remained identical to the rest of the project. Temperatures remained around 26–27°C. Humidity stayed between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. Airflow remained extremely gentle. The objective was creating a stable environment where young seedlings could establish themselves without unnecessary stress. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination remained intentionally soft. Young seedlings do not require intense light levels at this stage. The goal is healthy establishment rather than rapid growth. Once properly established, the selected Pheno B would move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system alongside the rest of the garden. --- ## First Observations Despite the initial setback, the second attempt progressed beautifully. Fast germination. Healthy taproots. Strong emergence. Good vigor. Healthy color. And perhaps most importantly: A successful recovery. Sometimes the most valuable lessons come from the grows that don't go perfectly. This diary happens to begin with one of those lessons. --- ## Looking Ahead Over the coming weeks we'll follow the selected Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno B through every stage of development. We'll document: - Root establishment - Early growth - Environmental management - Watering practices - Structural development - Flowering progression - And whatever unique characteristics this phenotype chooses to reveal Because every grow teaches something. And sometimes second chances become some of the most interesting stories to follow. 🌱 Germination Journey with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! Today kicks off an exciting adventure with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco genetics. I’ve got 10 regular seeds ready to sprout, and I’m looking forward to discovering some beautiful female phenotypes—and maybe even a standout male for potential future breeding. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with regular seeds, so I’m thrilled to dive in! Germination Process Overview: Here’s a step-by-step rundown of the germination setup and process, with a special focus on the equipment and nutrients that are helping these seeds thrive right from the start. Step 1: TheCannaKan Germination Pod 🌱 For germination, I rely on TheCannaKan—a device I’ve come to love and trust. It’s designed to create the perfect microclimate for seed germination, and within just 24 hours, the seeds started showing signs of life. By the 32-hour mark, they were all ready to be transferred to the next stage! I can’t recommend this gadget enough for anyone serious about getting strong, early growth from their seeds. • Why TheCannaKan? • Humidity Control: Ensures seeds stay hydrated without oversaturation. • Stable Temperature: Maintains an even temperature around the seeds, so there’s no shock or stalling. • Enhanced Oxygenation: Keeps fresh air circulating, helping prevent mold and ensuring seeds don’t suffocate. Step 2: Transfer to Root Riots & Aptus Holland Supplements 💧 Once the seeds were sprouted, I transferred them into Root Riots, known for their excellent water retention and structure that encourages strong root growth. Root Riots also have a pH-balanced, spongy texture that makes it easy for roots to penetrate, promoting sturdy, healthy root systems. At this stage, I started using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster at 1ml/L each. Here’s why I chose these products for early growth: • Aptus Regulator (1ml/L): Helps strengthen the plants against environmental stresses by supporting cell wall structure. It’s a fantastic choice for giving young seedlings an early boost in resilience. • Aptus Startbooster (1ml/L): This product provides essential microbes and nutrients that stimulate root growth and early plant vigor. Especially for regular seeds, the early root development makes a noticeable difference in later growth stages. Step 3: Lighting with Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD 💡 For lighting, I’m using a Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED. For the germination stage, I’ve dimmed it to around 200 PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density), which provides just enough light for healthy, strong seedling growth without overwhelming them. • Why Low Intensity? • 200 PPFD ensures that young plants aren’t exposed to too much light, which could cause stress or stunting. This level of intensity is perfect for encouraging healthy development without risking “stretching.” • The FOG LED provides a balanced spectrum tailored to plant growth, setting up these young sprouts for success as they grow. Step 4: Environmental Control with TrolMaster Tent X Controller 📲 For monitoring and control, I’m using the TrolMaster Tent X Controller, which lets me dial in every aspect of the environment to make sure these little ones have the perfect conditions for germination and early growth. • TrolMaster Benefits: • Precision Control: Adjust temperature, humidity, and lighting all in one place. • Notifications: Sends updates in real-time to my device, so I can make adjustments as needed without being physically present. • Consistency: Maintains stable conditions around the clock, reducing stress on seedlings and ensuring they’re thriving. Week 5 done and dusted and these girls have started their flowering stage, stoked! This week has been a bit slow growing for them unfortunately, I've been super busy and haven't been tending to them as much as I would have liked. I started the week with an over water and then neglected them for a few days and and they dried right out. They were not looking happy. I then top dressed the girls with Herbi's all natural nutrients, 2.5 tablespoons of bloom and 2.5 of Veg mixed in with 5 tablespoons of Worm castings for each girl and i got back to regular watering. They've sprung back up to life but I can't help but think it's another bit of stunt they didn't need. This Gorilla Cookies girl also got another light defoliation yesterday to let the light penetrate through to all the budsites. She's looking happy enough. Week 8, more and more trichomes everyday

8/19. I notice some fading on the older leaves. Looking back at what I been feeding. Looks like I been getting ready for bud, but she hasn't. So tomorrow I'm giving her a solid nitrogen feed. She is growing like crazy. Only makes sense 8/20 Gave her a solid feeding of N. Foxfarm Grow Big. 30 mls in 2 gallons of water. She is getting to be voluptuous, so hopefully I made the right move. 8/22 gallon and a half of tea. This time cow poop and worm castings. She is showing definite signs of flowers. Next watering I'm going to feed her nuits for flowering. Few days ago she was fed a good amount of Foxfarm Grow Big. She is a good size plant, so I'm sure I can get away with another feeding. Just going to make sure there is not a lot of nitrogen. She is forming her colas. Think I'm just starting to see how big she really is. 8/24 and have not had to water for 2 days. Rain and not that hot, however the heat is back. So she is going to be thirsty.

Boy oh boy look at these babies grow I'm studying them more and more to ensure they are happy. I've notice that gelato 41 is producing bud spots like thats what it was ment for. Tropi cherry is coming along but not as fast as G41, and runtz muffin im a little disappointed in but i believe that is my fault for im still new and have only grown 1 plant prior to these 3. It also doesnt help i had to cut the vegitation cycle by 2 weeks as well. and further more I was at least able to give 2 clones away, the rest were still good but couldn't find them homes so i had to throw them away. Next time I'll have all the room they need and can't wait to make mother plants of my favorites.

Everyone is smelling GREAT! Nice dense buds and covered in trichomes. However, a bit disappointed with Piper as she didn't turn fully purple but that's because I live in a hot and humid country so I can't really get the temperature down to 15-18 celsius at night for her to change colors. Overall, gonna harvest a bit of her cause I'm running out of stock and we'll see how that goes

Week # 9 Hello everyone. The plant has been rinsed with water for 2 days, my ph is 6.3. As can be seen in the photos, the buds have grown significantly in size. I am really not interested in achieving the largest quantities, but rather creating a top medicinal product. Because of that, I prefer organic products. You still don't see any orange-red threads on the flowers, and the process of crystallization is slow. But the scent is finally sweet and fruity. I have 2 other strains in the tent that are probably ripe 1 week earlier. I made a self-made harvest cabinet.The dimensions are 150x50x50 and runs with my old ventilation 280m3. This allows me to use my tent only for growing. And to be able to react better to the ripening time of the plants. The Fox 🦊

approaching 3 weeks from when clones where taken there building up great done bit a defoilating super cropping and topping a newby to these techniques but seem to be doing well can see the increase in nutrient has really got them growing now

She is doing good, but it seems she needs at least 3 more weeks. This plant is gonna be one enormous bud

*****Week 14 growth – March 6 to 12, 2021 – Week 5 flower ****** This girl keeps chugging along. Her resin rails are looking awesome. A little dark green maybe but not worried. Looking for some bud swelling to kick in!! Bud Fusion being introduced this week. Into the last phase of feeding during flower now. Nitrogen is continued to be reduced as its late flower. Keeping up the feeding ppm this week as we are getting to the end. May be pushing them a little more than I should but finding out how they react for next run. Still continuing to play with the light intensity and seeing how the girls react to my environment conditions when pushed harder. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR. Little more detail….. Mar 6/21, Day 29 - Dry out day - Changed light cycle to 11/13 today to help with light intensity and reducing DLI. - Light power reduced to 425 watts Mar 7/21, Day 30 - Keeping up the feeding but reducing nitrogen. - feeding with micro – 1.5, bloom – 2.5, ult B – 0.5, carbs – 1, B Storm – 2, S Storm – 2.5, Bud Fusion 0.15gr/l, Terp – 1.5, Jet Fuel – 0.5, Rezin 1 - 1150ppm and 6.0pH - 2.5L Mar 8/21, Day 31 - Watering with 2L feed from yesterday and 16L plain water - Over shot the pH - 400ppm and 5.9pH Mar 9/21, Day 32 - Feeding again with Grow – 0.5, Micro – 1, Bloom – 1.5, Carbs – 1, Magnifical – 1 - Didn’t add many of the supplements - 875ppm and 6.0pH - 2.5L Mar 10/21, Day 33 - Middle of the week and just giving some enzymes today - Enzymes – 1.5ml - 300ppm and 6.1pH - 3L Mar 11/21, Day 34 - Microbes again today - Tap water with Jet Fuel – 1ml, Terpinator – 2ml, Nature’s Candy – 1.5ml, Rezin – 1ml, Ultimate B+ - 0.5ml, Recharge – 1tsp/gal - 800ppm and 6.0pH - 3L Mar 12/21, Day 35 - Dry out day - Been feed a couple of times this week so work with ¾ strength next week.
