Hey Cannafam, My gals had another wet week, each day has had showers although its not been solid and she has had time to dry out in between assisted by me going out to shake off water after each rainfall. However at the beginning of the week i found what suspect to be start of rot in one of her lower braches as a sugar leaf had died for no reason amoungst a bunch of healthy ones, so that bits had the chop. I also found a cocoon of some sort glueing to leaves together at the top of the plant and had to cut that out, the consistancy was of latex and i think it was a moths or buterfly. Needless to say ive been inspecting her dayly closley for any more issues. On the positive side of things shes holding up quite well currently, all bud sites are building even the bottom branches which were exposed last week are starting to fill out. Smell has increased again and this gal is absolutely honkin now. In terms of feeding shes just had one dose this week, there is a tiny bit of burn on some of her leaf tips and shes a light feeder. The weathers looking drier for next week so she should be catchin more rays and lovin life again. Thats all from me, thanx for stoppin by 😊💜💜💜

We back with some buckets! Time to fire up the pumps and get this show on the road. If you haven't seen sugar cane then you need to crawl out from under the rock you're hiding in. Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. Not much exciting going on yet, but with a little luck that may change pretty soon.

Another new grow and like the OG kush, trying something new with this grow, by flipping to 12/12 for a week (without bloom nutrients). Also with this grow and the OG kush, I'm switching to the coco series nutes, as they have higher P & K values than the non-coco line up.

These are looking solid, I just started lowering ppm today I'm trying to hsrvest these fairly early. I already started the flush for the girl in the 1 gallon pot it finished quicker than then others. Everything is healthy as it could be right now. The heater made such a big difference I couldn't be happier with how these are growing at this point hopefully it keeps up. Been removing fan leaves here and there but I'm trying to hold off until day 21 and I might give them all a pretty heavy leaf strip. I read something saying defoliate heavy on day 21 and 42 to increase yields so I might give that a shot. These lights are the real deal I got a meter and even tho I barely know how to read it I'm getting much better canopy penetration and the flexibility of having 4 separate units instead of 2 is going to come in handy. Soon I will put all the shorter plants on one side and tall on the other and adjust the lights accordingly. Some leaves got burnt but everything is good, just flipped to 12/12. I think the pH down is causing the leaves to burn or maybe my pH pen is not working properly (I've already calibrated it) so I'll stop adjusting pH, in the next couple of days there should be some pistils. I wanted to let them grow for around 9 weeks but I think they'll grow too tall for my tent. Forgot to add that I kinda supercropped one of them because I didn't want to defoliate anymore.

Week 11 Jan. 13 - 19, 2020 Jan. 17, 2020 I'm a few days late updating week 11. So here it goes. I harvested the 3 Zkittlez plants. I enjoyed growing these. They didn't get as tall as I'd liked but that was my fault, I kept my lights too close during the early stages of the grow. I learned that these auto flowers don't not need to be LST'd. My Zkittlez #1 I over stressed and it yielded out only half of what the other plants did. Of the other two plants...one was LST'd and the other was left to grow more naturally with very little training. They both yielded within 1 tenth of an ounce of each other. Final dry weight is 2.5 oz. Could've been better, but it's my first time and I learned a lot. No amber trichomes but wow the plants are frosty and they have a strong pungent smell. When the main cola is bent a little sideways it really begins out the smell. The smell is like a gassy fuel, diesel fuel, strong chemically smell. I love it. CS #3 is giving me some problems. The pics might show it. The leaf tips are curling up and thr leaf edges are turning brown. Not sure if I can correct this befor harvest. It's late into flower. I may just ride it out until then. I've topped dress once weekly for the last 4 weeks with kelp, and a blend from roots organic for bloom 4-6-3.
