day 1 - transplanted her into the end pot now. day 4 - i wanted to spray the soil before watering and i fucked up one leaf in the trigger system of the spray bottle :(((((((( day 5 - started LST training because in dont want to topp her and still stun her in height in the favor of the blue cheese and the trained critical day 6 - i removed the leaf wich i fucked up so the light can give more energy to the very nice promoteable branches that are supported by the LST also

Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. Decided to finally finish this diary so that on New Year eve I'm not opening the year with unfinished business. Now we cut the second Tropicanna XL auto plant, the first cut you can find in week 17. The plant from week 17 weighted 2.6 kilo wet, this one finished at 2.1kg. wet. The girls where autoflower but thanks to me starting this grow in cold day temps (14 degree Celsius) the started flower really late and grew and grew :) I enjoyed growing this strain immensely, smells so sweet and fruity, she has the most intense and most delicious aroma ever She brunches off like crazy, gave me a ton of big and dense bud. In my first few grows, I was hitting around 30 grams of dry weight, my buds weren't "fattening up", and I was underwhelmed by my results. So, I started again, and I've completely rebuilt my grow area. Lessons learnt: 1. Light REALLY REALLY REALLY matters! I started out by using a 35w led panel. I then "upgraded" to a cheap 100w grow light. I thought these would be good enough, and to some extent they were. However, since the rebuild, I invested in a Mars Hydro TS1000, which was significantly more expensive than the other two. I'm absolutely astounded by the results. If you're starting your grow journey, buy the best you can afford. The light is the most important part of the build, and if you get that right, the rest is a doddle. 2. Tents are worth the money. I originally had my stealth grow up in the loft, but have instead bought a small budbox tent, and that, combined with the light, has made a huge difference to the maintenance of a stable growing environment. For the first time, I am seeing fat buds, and it's a thrill. I at last know what people mean now when they say their buds are fattening up, because mine are visibly 2 or 3 times bulkier than those of my first 4 or 5 grows. And there's a lot of them. Previously I'd get the main bud on the main stem, and some smaller buds around that. My smaller buds are now almost equal in size to my main before, and my main makes me drool. I cannot wait to harvest. 3. Control pH. Stay on top of this, and keep it in the optimal range to the best of your ability. Buy a chap pH meter, and do your measures regularly. Make adjustments to the best of your ability. This means doing maths, and I've yet to get a formula that works well enough to be precise in terms of weights and measures of up/down agents, but small changes rather than wild swings are the way forward. 4. Try not to stress your girls out. I've had two grows go hermie on me. Too much LST, too much chopping and too much variation in conditions - water, nutrients and environment. 5. Don't give up. I'm not much of a smoker, but I so very much enjoy being a gardener. There's something deeply satisfying in knowing that you are getting it right. Sort of plays to my competitive nature. I'll take some pictures later, and show you what I mean.

Hello y'all 👋 If you remember there ended up being two of these because of another strain not making it into the growroom. I chopped one this week but I will do the harvest once I chop this second plant. The first one is a beauty as you can see in the pictures and her smell is lemon, citrus n skunk There are only a few left to harvest. Week 6 is here, these colas are really packing some weight. The end of this week I will start getting ready for the flush and just be feeding these girls water.

11/2: I fed them yesterday except for the 3 x SP's, the short OS(c), and the last Blackberry (a). Those 5 plants were each flushed with 8 gallons of warm water and Liquidsoil. 11/5: I watered the ones that will be harvested tomorrow so hey will be turgid for a rough trim. Took photos of the ones slated for execution. They'll be in the dark til tomorrow night. 11/6: Harvested and washed the 3 x SPs, the last Blackberry, and one of the OS's. Hanging to dry - My closet looks so empty now with only 11 plants in there... 11/7: I flushed all 3 of the Lemon Pies, and the purple Wedding Cheesecake with 8 gallons of warm water each, including Liquidsoil. Everybody else got fed for probably the last time.

As for the smell, the smell is beautiful and too strong. And as for the yield, what I see now, kind of average, nothing special... So I will avoid RF3 in the future. I'll stick to the old gold...

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . I'm not sure I'll go through all this effort of documentation here again, but please follow along on my instagram, stay in touch and chill out with me sometime @Fullmeltalchemist.00 All in all, I was running 1000w of quantum board across three tents and pulled just over 1100 grams, which was a big goal of mine. Going well. Think I may flip in the next week. Don't want the plants to become too unmanageable for my first crop. Really enjoying the learning process. Thinking a t-break starting soon would make it easier to enjoy the harvest. Looking at getting some bubble hash processing equipment and a rosin press, my prefered consumption method from right at home. At this size what would an experienced grower expect in terms of yield? The strains seem hearty. Lil budds starts to appears everywhere this week :) I made a big defoliation and main lining on those plants I hope great quality smoke at the end. Next week I will start to put Booster in my mixture and up load it to 1.5liters per plant :)
