Day 1 - 03/31/2022 Hello, World! 34th Street AK-47 Autoflower from OCS.ca germinated in 1 day after placing seeds in the freezer over night before planting. This was my 3rd attempt and the freezing method seemed to have done the trick! Sprouted on day 4. I placed the seed in the Aerogarden sponge pod and didn’t press it down too much. When the tap root started, it had nothing to grip onto, so I solved this by cutting a small portion of another sponge and placed it above the seed securing it in place with a loose “lid” on top so the sprout could easily push through. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 3 - 04/02/2022 Hygrometer is in. Was drier than a popcorns fart in the closet so I got the humidifier going and it’s looking good. Went from 22% to 38% humidity in ~1 hour. pH, water temp and EC/PPM all seemed high so I added ~0.5 mL of pH Down that brought the levels to 5.4 (too low). I added ~2 cups of Brita filtered water (water was getting low anyway) before I went to bed from the fridge that helped raise the pH, lower the EC/PPM, and the temp by a few degrees as well. In an attempt to cool the water down a bit over night, I took the “cap” off of the Aerogarden reservoir to let the water ‘breath’ while the light was off between 2 am and 6 am – that did not work... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 4 - 04/03/2022 Water temp remains high at around 28 c. I replaced about 1/3 of the tank with new water and added ~1ml of Miracle Grow. Didn't effect the water temp at all. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 6 - 04/05/2022 Levels appear the same. Tomorrow I’ll change the water out and start adding FloraMicro, FloraGrow and FloraBloom with some CaliMagic. Might pick up some Root inoculate of sorts or at least some preventative root rot formula – better safe than sorry. I’ll have to start seriously taking care of the water temp as well. Having it always around the 30 degree mark is not good. On a side note, I inadvertently found a great way to bump up humidity and air temp quickly: add boiling/hot water to the humidifier. My humidifier ran out of water over night while I was asleep. At 6:30 am I was lucky enough to notice since the humidifier rattles when empty. Humidity was down to 38% at that point. I went back to bed, woke up at 8:30 and it was down to 28%. As luck would have it, there was some left over boiling water on the stove in a kettle and I needed something easy to pour with. I checked back 30 minutes later and the air humidity/temp was up to 60% / 30 C respectively. This was also the first time I added nutrients other than the NutriGrow formula. I mixed everything together in 16 cups of water. NOTE TO SELF: 16 cups is not enough for 1.1 gallons! I had to add another 5 cups of water/nutrients to get the water volume right. I added a bit of NutriGrow only in the last 5 cups with ~1mL of pH down (didn’t measure; kept applying in small doses until pH was around 6). All the girls seem to be finishing up now and the leaves fading. Auto is pretty much done. Another 7 to 10 days and the others should be done too.

Hi guys So end of week 4 and entering week 5 now. Few issues this week with the feeding of the plants. Dark phoenix are hungry well half of the plants are anyway 🤔🤷‍♂️ so I upped the feed to 1200ppm the dark phoenix didnt mind it as it needed it but my blue cheese suffered and has significant burnt tips on every leaf 😅 I will disconnect this from the auto feeder and flush and add half nutes by hand in a few days. Othere than that the plants buds are growing and getting frosty. Thanks for looking and happy growing guys👌💪💚 Day 37 flower I changed the marshydro tsl2000 to a 400watt hps to finish the job on the scrog along with the bloomplus bp2500 250watt led light. So cheese got burnt quite bad I totally disconnected it from auto pot system and feeding ph 6.5 water only for a week. Dark phoenix is really frosty now still loads of pistils standing on end and filling out now and smells amazing. The next 2 weeks I will keep feeding bloom and top max then I will start the flush on them. Happy growing guys.

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

Alot going on in my personal life so im kinda ghosting this page, sorry! Hope you still like the diary:) Update: the strech is getting real! Au#1 will recieve a little curing method for her dried look: ill let her dry out just a bit and then give her just water for once. Should solve the issue, besides that: bloom madness as always (my grow guru told me that blooming phase is always a hassle)

Trees have really recovered from irrigating with Ph'd water only this week. The brown spots have not appeared on new growth and are looking very healthy. I got massive leaves compared to previous grows, is this because of my "special" soil mix??? I'm tempted not to use any nutes for the time being and see how they do in my "special" soil mix. Weather is warming up, nighttime temperature not so low. This will probably be my last grow until end of summer as keeping my environment cool could be a problem with the predicted hot summer... Beach for me :) Thought I would bend over the Super Kush :)

pH was important as expected and a bit of light burn later on in the grow but ultimately it was pretty smooth sailing. I used a very common nutrient (GHE) and not overly strong. Buds were thick, dense, and moderately pine smelling. The plant did not grow excessively tall thanks to LST, and the LST did not seem to have any ill effects at all. Foliage was thick, and I let it go for a very long time before doing any sort of defoliation. Even then it was modest and just to get light to the lower colas. Still in trimming mode and will continue to update :) Also, other plants in the house got spider mites. Not this one. Could have been that it was in hydro and others weren't but hard to say.

Weekly update for these girls. They got a defoliated and lollipopped this week. Also went full on into preflower showing pistols and flower sites everywhere. Over all they're growing like champs. Happy Growing.

2nd week and I can tell one thing for sure. I'm really bad gardener 😬 Had to leave for 5 days and that was let's say suboptimal. Another proof that this strain is able to live with little to none attention. Changed the light hours to 20/4 to let them rest for at least a little time. Last big change was me finally finishing my controll system so even without me being present conditions were almost constant to preseted values (temp +/-0.2°C and humidity +/- 6%) Really happy with their grow so i hope it all be OK.

Week 2 veg. Starting some LST this week. Pretty new to this so hopefully all goes well!

Beautiful plant, very sativa looking,super citric lemony aroma,very strong like skunk, just a real pleasure to grow, taking advantage of the way I grow which is organic I'm able to feel the best and most pure aromas, this girl is amazing, another great strain by FastBuds!

Haven't been remembering to post weekly updates! Everything is going great the auto flower girls are budding nicely and the other ladies are starting to flower nicely I'm giving alternating nutrients using a few different fox farm nutrient feed charts with my own take on them from notes an suggestions. This is the part that is so enjoyable but so stressful!

It's drinking a lot of water, obviously because of its huge size, smaller doses of nutrients to go little by little, the shape of the tall buds, they're much more resinous with this update, I'm hoping for more time with this one due to its size and little light.
