Another week gone for this plant and she’s took really well to the training implemented last week. Knuckled both of the main branches last week and kept the biggest branch tied down ans as you can see she’s shooting up from doing so. Should get few more tops now and bush out. She’s come on lovely these past few weeks after mowing munched on by slugs and I personally didn’t think would recover from it but I was so wrong! Ones she gets strong again from the knuckling I will tie all heads down to get more light into the middle. Next time down will give her some bio grow but this week shes had plenty of rain. Been ate a little by slugs so put some copper tape around stem to help keep them off. That’s all this week happy growing 🌱

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Plant Mol Biol 65: 107-12 Abstract Sound waves technology has been applied to different plants. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. This paper provides an overview of literature for the effects of sound waves on various growth parameters of plant at different growth stages. https://doi.org/10.1016/S2095-3119(13)60492-X

Sorry it took so long for an update. I got married in the meantime and went on a honeymoon. Before I went though I took the plants down and had a friend take care of the drying and curing. It looks like I got 2 pheno's. One is has more red hairs and is a bit more skunky and peppery. The other has bit more sativa like bud forming and smells a bitt gassy in addition to the tangieness. The yield is also definitely not disappointing. Plant 1: 76gr Plant 2: 68gr Plant 3: 65gr Total:209gr I am happy with that. Especially since it's my first LED grow.

Week 4 Flower 6-5 Day 52 from seed. Bit slow on this week updating. But she hasn't missed a step, even if I have! She smells great! I'm really digging the gas and stink from her. Already got my mouth watering 🤤. Top dressed flower girl 1/4 cup poo and sprinkled a little mykos in with it, watered with recharge Sunday, reg water on Tuesday. Took my ecowitt to 14% in 2 days. After a full water. 😁 Opened the tent for air. Last week vpd has been between 1.5-1.6. moved up from 1.3-1.5. She seems to be ok with it so far!

I'm really glad to get back to growing after a period of time. Many errors were made, such as : - Too short flushing period - Precipitation during defoliation - Start of cultivation 1 week too early, disturbing my seedling. - Flowers dried too intensely - Humidifier missing Overall, everything worked well, and I obtained about twenty grams. My WW was too small compared to what I was hoping to get. The restricted space resulted in strong temperature variations that stressed my plant. A lack of humidification in the tent didn't provide ideal conditions either. that was so great, see ya!!!! U.G.

Hey everyone 😀. A lot has happened this week 👍. Flowering day 28 Today 1.2 liters were poured. (See nutrient table for nutrient addition). The humidifier was refilled with an Ec of 0.4. The tent has been cleaned. Flowering day 29 Today the plants and buds were checked for health and cleaned. Flowering day 30 Today was poured again. This mam she got 1 liter of water. (See nutrient table for nutrient addition). Of course, the plant was checked for its vitality 🧐😅. Flowering day 31 The humidifier was refilled a little and the tent cleaned 👍. Days of flowering 32 Today 1.2 liters of water were poured. (See nutrient table for nutrient addition). Fans, fans, electrics have been checked for functionality 😊. Flowering day 33 The plant has been carefully checked for pests, etc. Flowering day 34 Today 1.6 liters were poured, so that it had about 10% drain 👍 For nutrient addition, see the nutrient table. The tent was plastered and rubbed with disinfectant. The buds look beautiful, and already smell extremely tasty again 😍. I wish you a lot of fun with the update, let it grow 🍀 and all stay healthy 🙏🏻 You can buy this Strain at https://thecaliconnection.com/seeds/girls-scout-cookies-34.html You can buy the fertilizer at https://www.greenbuzzliquids.com/ Type: Girls Scout Cookies ☝️🏼 Genetics: GSC Tint Mint 👍 Vega lamp: 2 x Todogrow Led Quantum Board 100 W 💡 Bloom Lamp : 2 x Todogrow Led Cxb 3590 COB 3500 K 205W 💡💡☝️🏼 Soil : Canna Coco Professional + ☝️🏼 Fertilizer: Green Buzz Liquids : Organic Grow Liquid Organic Bloom Liquid Organic more PK More Roots Fast Buds Humic Acid Plus Growzyme Big Fruits Clean Fruits Cal / Mag Organic Ph - Pulver ☝️🏼🌱 Water: Osmosis water mixed with normal water (24 hours stale that the chlorine evaporates) to 0.2 - 0.4 EC. 1 - 03/27 - Starting up week #2. New light is installed, will be monitoring the set up now since the new light is 800w. Tent temperature peaked yesterday at 85. Added a big fan in the tent and an additional fan for circulation outside of the tent as well. Going to need my air scrubber sooner than later to help keep my temps in check. Likely need a cool mist humidifier as well now. Woohoo. At least they are all still standing! 2 - 03/27 - The new LED at 800 watts is far too much. The tent was heating up uncontrollably past 86, so I decided to take it back and grab the single 400 for the time being. That way at a later date I can upgrade to a secondary 400 and still pull equal wattage. Also added a 6in inline fan to help keep the tent cooler. Sitting around 76 -80 now so I'm pretty happy with it. The 400 run quite a bit cooler than the 800 does. The 800 brought my tent up another 10 degrees whereas the 400 unit sits my tent up at 3 degrees. All in all, feeling good about the swap and new lights. Time will tell if I need anything additional come first week of flower 03 - 03/31 - Almost nearing the end of week 2. The girls are doing amazing. Candy Cane is finally catching up and everybody is filling out now. Super cool to see what a week does! 🌱 Each of the ladies received some very light LST last night. Light pull on the leaves downwards to pull the top open and create some more developmental growth. I also decided to run a really light liquid nutrient cycle. I'll post the product and details tonight. Happy growing! 🌱

Casey's Rollex OG grew well. She finished in 7 weeks of flowering. Which was super fast. I fid run a little longer as it never looked ripe then, but started fox tailing as well. So it was a confusing finish the bud has a good citrus and earthy aroma. Really frosty. I have a feeling this will be a strong couch lock experience once done. Thanks again Spider Farmer, and DutchFem Seeds. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. 2nd topped on day 20 and she is reacted well to HST, she is too busy with growing, there is no time to get stunted. I give her 1/3 of the feed schedule’s recommendation. Soon I will switch to bottom feed. DLI has been set to 30. Day 26 - today I installed the Megapot system. She has been transplanted from a 5 gal bag to a 6 gal one, it was quite a torture I must say. More stress for the plant. I had to do this for the better drainage. Was it a stupid move? We shall see.

I did a lot of low-stress training and I think I topped twice. The smaller plants had no training at all though. In retrospect, I should have re-potted them.

Question 1 there’s a bit of purple on the stem I kinda did a nasty job on transplanting I believe it’s that but I’d still like some input if possible Question 2 theres a bit of yellowing I was wondering if that’s perhaps due to nutrient deficiency I do have my lights pretty far away and have them pretty low Lastly the nutrients I added were like at the same time I transplanted I heard Gaia green takes up to two weeks for the nutrients to be available I forgot to add warm casting so should I top dress with some worm casting?
