Good week as we had some nice weather, also provided a small amount of iguana grow and she's looking good, still 1 or 2 weeks to go before flowering, I've also started some LST to see if i can keep her small but with some more side branches, hopefully it works 😅 i never trained auto's so lets see 🙈

Continuing LST and also did a super light defoliation only took off some of the bottom leaves that were still touching the coco. Also switched on the bloom switch as well at the end of the week. Also sprinkled a bit of Diatomaceous Earth on the coco coir especially at the base of the plant, and also sprinkled a bit on the leaves as well although that wasn't intentional

Same as her sister, Compost tea for the first time, hope she gets better.

This is actually week 3 for 7 of these ladies. I started with 7 Sour Bubbly and then waited for the Northern Cheese Haze and Hubbabubbasmelloscope to come in to pop in the dirt. So in order to keep this journal for both of those start dates I'll just meet in the middle at week 2 haha.

12/02/2024 13/02/2024 MS is growing funny 😁 TF has exactly the same feed mls. Shes looked forever hungry 14/02/2024 Lite Defoll. Midday. TF has never looked the healthiest with the first time using HydroSol + H202 water soluble feed. I think i have the ratio/some sroted to where I've seen improvements. First improvements i have seen are: 1. NO Nutritional burn or Lockout! (non-salt based). P.s ignore the over salas 12% HP at the start (no idea what i was thinking). Sometimes being ahead; means i am a being with a head that makes human errors. Oh, the joys of plant-discovery. Sorry side tracked lol 2. Quicker Absorbing witb water soluble food. Dolomite lime top-dress early on has kept root-zone pH under control, due for another top-dress soon. 10% Runoff @ 2 gal (will be going up to 2.5 gal for 15-20%): 1900ppm, pH 5.5 (meh).

UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 56g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently between 63-68%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. While trimming some dried buds yesterday, I came across a seed, I couldn't believe it, between 😕and 😆, first time experiencing this, interesting, hopefully she didn't lose a lot of her potency and it only happened late. Learning from this: don't change light cycle. I changed from 18 to 21 hours, thought that was a good idea... All this aside, I am sooooooo in LOVE WITH HER 😍I have never grown such a beautiful plant, excuse the photo spam, she deserves a stage, at least for me 😉I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1. Regular hang dry: For 7 days in small grow tent, darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F - she was almost too dry after 7 days. 2. Low & Slow dry: after washing & hang-drying for 4 hours, she went into the fridge for 7 days in a paper bag, followed by several jar tests until she was at a steady 68% outside; She dried like this in the fridge for 8 days. I didn't trim her too much, since I want to preserve everything for oils. More details: 16. Nov. 2019 - 13. Switched it up to 600w on the digital ballast. Plants really love the extra heat. 2 plants hermied unfortunately so they were "Outta There" Which left me with 4 healthy stretch ladies. Still no loud smell yet but it's got something there. We got some likkle buds too 😍 Girls are doing well they took well to the foliar spray I was applying twice a week. They are loving the extra space to stretch it seems. Feeding with water this week to regulate ppm within substrate. Proud parent 👏 See you guys next week Be good Stanton..

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. 84 days from seed and the Critical Purple is still vegging. She should flip any day now but on track with regular photo period plants In my region...x2 of the CP are filling up nicely. I harvested one of my GG autos last week and my GWS doesn't have very long either :)

Day 36 Flower (Day 78) Today is the first day of week six of flower and on this glorious day, I went to war against the fungus gnats. By war, I mean watering each girl with 5 million Nematodes in 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. That should hopefully do the trick and get rid of the annoying little shits. I also experimented a bit more with bud photography and this time I used an LED ring flash. The next step is to shoot during the dark period so I don't get any supplemental light from the grow lights. That was pretty much it today as it is mostly just coasting along at this point in the grow. Day 37 Flower (Day 79) The left girl got pampered with a new light today. Let's see if those extra photons can help her fatten up. She also got a CO2 bag to help her to soak up all those juicy photons. The right girl on the other hand just got her daily watering. Today with 3 liters at pH 6.6. Day 38 Flower (Day 80) All I did today was to give the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water and started brewing some compost tea to feed tomorrow. I used a simple recipe this time with just some worm castings and molasses to increase the microbial activity, as well as a bit of neem meal for some additional nutrition but also to help against pests. The fungus gnats in the tents are almost gone. The nematodes took care of the gnat larvae and the yellow sticky traps have been catching the adults. Day 39 Flower (Day 81) Super chill day. I just gave each girl 3 liters of compost tea at pH 6.2. Done. Day 40 Flower (Day 82) I gave 3 liters of pH 6.5 water to the right girl and supported some of her branches as they're getting heavy with buds. Boom! Day 41 Flower (Day 83) Today I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. The gnats look to be defeated for now. I can't see any in the tents and the yellow sticky traps are empty. Day 42 Flower (Day 84) The last day of the sixth week of flower and all is going great in the tents. The heatwave we were having went away, which kind of sucks on a personal and social level, but it's great for the girls as the tents were swelteringly hot. The left girl is 103 cm tall and didn't grow anything this week. She has started to fatten up a bit now since I installed a more powerful light, but she is still lagging far behind the right girl. I'm interested to see if she is only lagging behind in time and will fatten up eventually, or if her ordeal has stunted her flowers, resulting in a bunch of larf. Time will tell. Either way, it will be a learning experience. The right girl also didn't grow vertically this week (thankfully!). Her 123 cm is tall enough to be dangerously close to the lights. She is fattening up nicely but still some time to go before she is done. I haven't checked any trichomes yet but should probably start checking next week. Today was another chill late-flower day, I just gave the left girl 2 liters of pH 6.7 water, and the right got 3 liters at pH 6.5.
