I planted 3 seeds to germinate, but only one sprouted. Sad. After it emerged in the coco, the first watering was done with aloe vera juice. The next day, it was irrigated with Azospirillum, a bacteria that promotes plant growth, fixing N. The third watering was done with an aerated tea consisting of mycorrhizae, molasses, and worm castings. The fourth watering was done with fertilizer, with a ppm of 700. I used Plant Prod and Calcium Nitrate. For the fifth watering, I repeated the tea, and finally, another watering with fertilizer, with a slightly lower ppm (541). All waterings maintained a pH between 5.5-5.8.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Am Freitag habe ich zuletzt 10 ml Bio-P-K gegeben. Dann ist es passiert: Ich habe die Pflanzen übergossen. Glücklicherweise habe ich gute Stofftöpfe, sodass es kein größeres Problem war. Am nächsten Tag schaute ich in die Growbox und konnte meinen Augen kaum trauen – die oberen Blätter waren welk und braun. Das war enttäuschend. Ich begann sofort mit Nachforschungen: drei Stunden lang verglich ich Bilder, las Blogs und versuchte, die Ursache herauszufinden. Ich muss gestehen, ich hatte schon geahnt, dass so etwas passieren könnte, denn der Abstand meiner Lampe betrug nur noch 2 bis 10 cm. Verzweifelt habe ich die Lampe mit Paracord um weitere 7 cm höher gehängt – mehr ging wirklich nicht wegen der Zeltdecke. Ich denke, dass es drei Ursachen für die Probleme gab: Lichtbrand, Hitzestress (da die Lampe nur 3 cm entfernt war und ich Temperaturen von 34-37 Grad gemessen habe) und außerdem die Überwässerung. Fazit: Hängt die Lampe immer weit genug weg und gießt die Pflanzen nicht zu viel!

Glad to see them start filling out. I started giving compost tea and molasses in between feeding and watering once a week. At this point I'm trying to slowly raise ppm without getting nute burn. They are barely putting put smell. I'm guessing the buds will be significantly bigger next weeks update.

First week of flowering and its going great! The plants are still nice and green from the biogrow we gave some weeks ago, next steps is to give some guanokalong bloom nutrients and a small shot of green sensation from plagron! The first week of flowering we already found 4 males and removed them from the tent, I'm observing 2 more plants which can be males, the rest seems to be females!

Permant marker the one seedling I could not be more happy with. It has a distinct different look to it than any other plant in the tent with strong growth going on. I'm sad about the other seedling thou the 1st set of leaves were kinda deformed and it has like a spiral thing going on where new growth comes from. Hopefully it comes back around, I always like seeing atleast 2 phenos of a strain I feel it gives you a better idea of what a strain is. It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

We have made it to day 42! 31/12/20 All the girls have started flowering now! I'm super keen to see them start to thicken up. Feeding as usual, nothings changed. Update - day 46 04/01/21 I'm a little concerned about the 2 runts that were laggin behind the rest, all of a sudden theyve decided they want to take up most of the room in the tent. I've never grown autos so big.. I was contemplating putting the runts outside but it's just going to make more problems as my outdoors are under attack from some kind of bug. I will keep the diary updated on the runts, other than that the other girls are doing just great, flowering is really coming along. Thanks for stopping by!

Week 1 of veg and nothing to report. Plant only on water for another few weeks. Training will start next week and maybe top if needed. I am so looking forward to this plant.

Germination Week, 1-7 August 2025 1 Aug - Placed 3 seeds in a cup of RO water, put in seedling grow tent under 24hrs light at 25% power, temp 74 degrees F. 3 Aug - 3 seeds cracked, roots appeared. Placed into Root Riot starter cubes. 5 Aug - All 3 seeds sprouted from starter cube. Waiting for some roots to appear from starter cube before moving the best seedling to a permanent DWC system (see pictures). 6 Aug - Selected and moved best seedling into DWC system. 7 Aug - Let the seedling grow.
