Everyone says the plants smell amazing but I can't smell them! fml. They're supposed to smell like guava candy. Just gotta rest up more till my smell is back, honestly the worst thing about covid. Started flush this week, going to flush for 10 days including a 48 hour darkness period. The darkness period is when the buds can reproduce the trichome coating. It's normally used as sunscreen for light protection but much is burned off during intense day times. This is why it's best to harvest after a period of darkness.

She's looking as pretty as anything this week!! I think she's almost there. Just waiting on more pistils to change colour. Trichomes are mostly milky. I note she is quite smelly!!!!!!

Howdy, So this last week has been about learning, quickly. Plant 2 has been suffering from yellowing, I noticed that at first it was a darker green than plant 1 - (first signs of Mg deficiency I have since learned). As plant 1 was doing so well until a few days ago, I originally assumed that plant 2 was just a bit of a slacker. I think basically it is more susceptible to PH differences than plant 1. First mistake was not knowing about the benefits of PH range... What I did not know earlier in the week is that Mg and Ca are only absorbed efficiently at 6.0 and above, my OCD kicked in and I refused to let the PH wander above 5.7; as from what I have read in forums, 5.7 is the sweet spot. Main lesson from last week is that I'm not going to be so anal about PH levels, I will let the PH rise to 6.3 before I drop it back down to 5.7, this will give the plants and window of time to grab hold of some well deserved CalMag before I drop it back down so it can retrieve some Mn and P if it needs any. My plants told me they were in need of Calcium over a week ago, but I naively thought that maybe I spilled a droplet of water on one of the leaves, and that caused it to burn. As I was adding CalMag+ to the solution when I replenished the reservoir. My second mistake was panicking... After realising above, I bombed the nutrient solution with 35ml of Cal Mag, bringing up the PPMS to 460, this subsequently gave the strongest plant nutrient burn. On top of this, I gave both plants a foliage spray during lights out with some diluted CalMag as well. So anyway, the main thing I have learnt is when the plants are ill, its probably best to take it easy, do a res swap at the very worst and concentrate on my PH levels first before throwing more variables into the fray. Positive notes: Plants 1 & 2 is now working on their 5th node, I know I am technically allowed to top at this point, but I am going to wait until they are working on their 7th before doing anything, this way I will be able to tell if the new growth is looking healthy, and my investigations are correct. I have now installed a Hailea 150a, with a submersible pump, this is now keeping the reservoir at 20ºc and its keeping the nutrients well mixed, I'll post a video later this week showing the set up. The roots at the top look a little dark, but I have done a sniff test and they don't smell at all, I think it is just where some of the tea has built up where the bubbles meet the air. Roots do seem rather large, maybe they have stretched so far looking for Mg and Ca :P Decided against increasing PPMS, going to do another week, so 5 weeks veg, gives the ladies some time to recover. Trimmed the burns off of leaves mainly so I can keep a track to see if damage is continuing. Anyways, I hope the above makes sense and draws other newbies attention towards PH ranging for hydro; I have posted a pic which shows the PH range for each important element. Thanks! 😊

This week i reduced the light to 75% to lower the temperatures. Also not as much watering as before. smells like Rubber + Gas + Gelato (Vanilla) Dense Buds and gonna be a good yielder. Light hits the plant with around 750 PPFD in the last week

Very terpy smell, strong and very citric like a pure lemon, very lemony smell basically, nothing crazy but it's very nice, she's producing a lot of resin, you can see she's a good autoflower, not the bets I've grown but it's nice to have something to Harvey's fast. 100% organic grown

Sour Jealousy Auto FastBuds 2025 Outside Grow April 1-5 Germination April 1-I put 1seed in glass of filtered water with 7.5 ml Hydrogen Peroxide in a dark cabinet. Watered each pot with 2 liters of ph water to get the soil dampened. April 2 The seed is still floating April 3pm I see a small crack in the shell. A good sign. April 4 I see a little tail on the seed. Into the prepared final 5-gallon air pot. The soil is 40% Happy Frog, 40% Coast of Maine and 20% Mushroom compost. I added Dynomyco to the bottom 2/3 of the soil blend. I sterilized my long nose tweezers and carefully put them tail down into the soil. Day 42-49: I had some growth this week primarily on the R3 and some on the CbDream. Very slow on the R2. I’m wondering if it’s just sub par phenotypes. Idk anymore haha. Just waiting to see what happens here. Don’t think I’ll pack it right full next time. And try to concentrate more on 8-12 tops on a manifold rather than 30 smaller ones. Live and learn. I bought an Inkbird heat and cooling controller, seems to be holding my temps and 77 in the day and 69 at night. I decided to go back to week 4 ratios to see if that helps, they aren’t overly different so we’ll see. Runoff for Cali Kush and R2 which are closer to the heater is 5.75 1000 and R3 and CbDream is 6.05-1.2 1400, so plain water for the next couple waterings.

Experiment explanation see week1 This week the two living soil pots got one big shot compost tea...otherwise only water No1 plagron experiment (gelato auto...other diary) got each two days some plagron plus one from aptus nutrients mixture...same as last week but added alga bloom....thow grow of this plant is the best from my trio so far. End of this week ppfd increased to 550-580
