Day 71: The smell is pretty strong at this point and the buds are becoming very sticky. I dropped the lights to around 28cms last week. I'll further lower them at the end of this week, as I expect harvest in week 13 or 14. Also watered her today. I'll leave the nutrients at the current level throughout the week and increase to 4ml/l each for the final week before flushing. Day 73: She's packing on a lot of weight recently. The top leaves on the main cola got really purple by now. At first I assumed that it was light burn, but now I think it has actually to do with its genetics. I also checked the trichomes today; around 90% of the trichomes are still clear.

Been a bit of a strange plant the older gelato..small bud sites hoping she pops but I don’t have much hope for her it’ll be a case of ‘quality over quantity’ I think but that’s all good she smells amazing so frosty and sticky! The smaller gelato is still in preflower I took all the undergrowth away so she’s recovering from that but she looks good too!

Day 86. Girl is near to the finish, think I took feed too early out for her, it's hard to read 17 plants in such small space, so some mistakes happen naturally ... Hope this Sunday to chop her. After not growing for almost a decade, it’s absolutely nostalgic and somewhat of an emotional moment to finally finish a grow again. I never thought I’d ever be able to do it again, But it feels really good after all this time and I appreciate all you joined me on this journey. I’ll be back soon; very soon! Stay tuned :)

Bang, Bang!

I go into the local Hydro store and the previous owner happens to be there. We talk about my novice grow and I mention the "Calcium" issue as I show him a photo.... He immediately asks me " Are those pots on a concrete floor? Because if they are, your roots are getting cold making it look like a calcium issue".... The new owner gives me a nice slab of styrofoam from an old box to put on the floor of my tent as I go home. I sick my BlueLabs PH soil pen in a drain hole at the bottom side of my pot and HOLY CRAP its only 17c and the PH is 5.2 !!!!! I take the plants to the bathtub and flush them with clean water PH'd to 5.8, about 8L of rinse per pot. I check initial run-off and its a whopping 2300ppm/50!!!!! I also remove some of the effected fan leafs in hopes I dont get some sort of plant illness. A day later I do the same PH test, PH is 5.8 and temp is 22C...all is well again. I should have paid attention to growing saying...make sure you get run off checks.
