Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The ladies had another great week, I got the Durban Nights, Red Hot Cookies, and Sundae Driverr's second toppings completed on day 26, and I got the second toppings done on the Green Crack and Bubble Runtz on day 27. Right now I have 4 mains on each plant, and I will top each one this week, probably in the next 3-4 days which will leave with me 8 mains. So the mainlines will be completed during week 5, and I plan to flip to flower around week 7.
I am still seeing a couple holes on the leaves of the Sundae Driver, but I have treated her twice with neem oil and I don't see any new holes since the last application and I can't see any bugs even with magnification. I am still not sure if it was a bug issue or just a genetic thing. Either way I am not too concerned at this point because they all seem to be very healthy.
I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space.
Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent.

The thing I love about this strain is how little the largest branches stretch and how much the lower branches come up to the main level. With some diligent training I was able to get probably the most dense and even canopy I’ve ever accomplished. Can’t wait to see how this progresses through flower.

10.8 - Hard to believe we are in week 7 of flowering!? We've come so far! And I have no clue how far we have to go. Just watching closely for the leaves to start yellowing and the trichomes to cloud up.
10.10 - Going through a heat wave, flower tent crept up over 32C during the past two days. Probably not an issue for this lady. Let me know how close you think I am to harvest! I still see new whites coming in every day and the buds are still visibly plumping.

Plant is doing fine. Had no issues this week and the devlopment looks solid. Hope she will stretch a bit more in the next week so that the fems can use the trellis once they are far enough.

Gave her Bio PK 5-8 for one time which was a harsh feeding as I mixed it with all the other nutrients. Other than that I'm watering 1.5L of Water every 3 days with CalMag and Horsetail Extract.
A bit of nutrient burn on the lower leaves but nothing to worry about

Bumped light from 120W and 30cm distance to 210W and 40cm distance by end of this week. DLI is around 40 at the moment.
Defoliation

Removed some leaves in the middle so that everything gets light. Also removed some leaves from the bottom which were shaded. Will remove branches that don’t make it end of Week 6

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

The plant showed some problem areas on the leaf, and the characteristic red stems appeared on the upper floors of the plant. I began to wonder if this was due to the PH level or not, but I added some PK 13-14 just in case.
keeping track of the PH level when growing on soil is very difficult for me. On coco substrate it was easy
there are still some problems with the humidity of the tent, because my ventilation with a pc cooler and a charcoal filter mat for the hoods can barely cope with the large vapors of the leaves

Day 45 - Found the GC's main branch broken this morning. My error was tying it down too much. Never had plants so big so I'm still learning the best way to LST them in order to fit them in my closet. Takin the broke with philosophy: I never topped a plant, so I'm curious to see how she will develop from now and how much she will yield. Keep growing and learning every day 🙏🏼💪🏼🌱

I dont have pics from this week, so atleast Doink i smoked, everything stayed same, I figured I had high PH so I bring it back to 6.1 as ideal by Plagron, feeding 1.6EC. , 400PPFD 18/6

Die Wuchsform der Pflanzen wirkt bis jetzt sehr homogen, es ist zu beachten, dass natürlich die einen etwas schneller wachsen, wie die anderen.
Auch die Stielbreite unterscheidet sich etwas.
Insgesamt wirken die Jungpflanzen allerdings sehr kompakt, was eine gewisse Indica Dominanz vermuten lässt.
Das ist auch so gewollt.
Ich werde immer wieder verschiedene Pflanzen der gleichen Zucht dokumentieren und nach der Geschlechtsbestimmung dann Herausfiltern, welche zwei Pflanzen für die Fertigstellung des Diaries in Frage kommen.
Die Wachstumsbedingungen im Growzelt sind weiterhin am Optimum und Stabil:

Hello everyone,
This 8 week of vegetation, she started growing ans looks little bit better, but we have same problem.
I have about 40-50 cm from light, and think to switch on 12/12 for flowering stage end of this week. What do you thin guys is it good idea or wait one more week?

Nice buds, coated with frost. Lived through root wrought, so I will give this plant a good grade for disease resistance.
I will continue filling in as harvest / curing completes.

Partially drained the tank at the start of the week and topped up with ro water and 1ml of final solution per Litre. Last 2.5 days were in darkness.
I trimmed the majority of fan leaves before hanging up to dry in the tent today. Started out trimming with the plants in the tent and soon realised it would be much easier to just cut them down whole, hang them upside down outside the tent and trim them up a bit.
I have a small dehumidifier and a small fan heater setup in the tent and they have been keeping a humidity level of about 60% and a temp of 16 Celsius for the last few days while the lights have been off. I figure that's a good starting point for drying and I can increase the temperature if needed, that will drop the humidity also.
Intake fan at the bottom and extract fan at the top are running constantly as they have been since the grow started (low power 4" fans).
I might add back in a fan for circulation depending on how the drying goes, or maybe even trim or hang the plants better to get more airflow around the buds
