I have been fertigating and also emptying the de-humidifier water into the driest looking substrate as it fills up. I have been keeping the tent door open and pushing more air through with fans. I have had to tied up just about every branch on plant 2 as the buds are rapidly approaching peak density and the weight of them is causing all the stems to bend over. Despite not having a main cola, if I manage to harvest, dry, and cure this plant, I think it's going to exceed 100g. The highest buds are showing around 2-3% amber - I am counting the days now, this girl is very close. The harvest window is open, but I am waiting for about 10 times more amber. Interestingly. using the loupe I have discovered that plant 1 is likely to be the next to be harvested despite both plants 4 and 5 being ahead of her. She is showing early signs of fade and I am seeing about 1% amber. No fade, no amber on the other three plants. Some heat stress/damage on higher fan leaves. Not concerned, nothing do be done, the plants got too big and I am only happy to be able to keep them upright and still in the tent, even though they are higher than the light. Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

Well a few weeks left and they are starting to fall over. Gonna be interesting holding then up for another few weeks. LoL

Here we are for the Week 8 Update for my biggest grow to date. The ladies are really starting to show trichomes like crazy along with their buds sites swelling seems like every day. Several of the ladies I had to defoliate again because they just became so bushy and I'm trying to make sure even the lower half of the plant is getting enough light. I've also noticed that all the ladies seem to be on the same track except for AK-49 #4 which just didn't grow much due to lack of light at the beginning of its life cycle and Girl Scout Cookies #2, which is almost done! Since I'm in the home stretch I check them every day to see if they need water because they've been super thirsty since they have been in flower. Really fun plant to grow out I got just over a quarter pound dry, I really dig the taste of this lady like a pastry of some kind with a cherry finish. Over all excellent finished product very pleased about it.

I went ahead a flipped into flower and the girls have responded really well! I had some issues last week but I think adjusting the PH down to 5.9 helped and diluting my nutrient solution to bring down my EC levels helped as well

The biggest auto I’ve grown to date! Had to tie up a few branches to keep them from falling over, looks like I’ve got a couple more to tie up! This girl would have been perfect for a scrog if I had any idea she’d get this big. Pretty sure the curling of the leaves towards the top of the plant is either from my fan being too close or from heat (or maybe both). It’s been a hot summer! Doing my best to keep her healthy 💚💚

Final week, I think she will be harvested at the end of the coming week. Looking just about done. PH’d water only for the rest of the way.

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

Week III

WEEK 5 (DAY29-35) The Runtz are thriving so far. Both plants have developed eight evenly spaced shoots, and now I’m waiting for the flowering to begin. Additionally, I have trained both plants with hooks to create a beautiful canopy. I’m still excited and hope they continue to grow as well as they have so far.
