Unfortunate Week... Honey cream had a couple of "budrot" spots forming due to droplets of water dripping into the flower and not drying (99%humidity nights)... Thankfully those buds were cut down and she doesn't seem to be producing any more "budrot".. Apart from that, the smell is amazing on her. Power Flower is going nicely too, but seems to not have too much smell...

These are the tallest and densest in the tent but there is little to no smell yet to them. Trichome production is very good for the stage so hopefully they develop a nose in the next couple of weeks. I’d hate to end up with rock hard frosty OG Kush buds with no smell 😀

The three plants are doing well. Fat Banana with topping has recovered strongly and continues to grow. Fat Banana without topping is unstoppable. A little defoliation applied. Primer cultivo con LED, espero que merezca la pena con estas 4 pequeñas AK47. Primera semana de vida (dia 7 desde que asomaron) y parece que todo marcha bien. Hay una de ellas que aun tiene la semilla pegada en los cotiledones, he intentado quitarla con suavidad, pero esta muy bien agarrada. Espero que se caiga en unos dias... Estoy usando el sustrato Complete mix de Top Crop y el kit de fertilizantes de esta misma marca. Parece que los parámetros de temperatura y humedad se mantienen bastante estables (20-25º y 70-75% ), a ver cuando llegue el verano... Saludos!

FBA2502 Plants 1-6 Week 7 May 11– 17 FLOWER 3 Nutrients : Micro 25 ml Gro 10 ml Bloom 30ml CalMag 30 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 16.5ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/11 PH 6.56, PPM 1560, temp 69 2ltr each 5/12 PH 6.31, PPM 1120, temp 68 1 ltr each 5/14 PH 6.66, PPM 1280, temp 70 1 ltr each 5/15 PH 6.66, PPM 850, temp 72 1 ltr each 5/11 Defoliation, feed, pics & videos I made 4 gallons, used 3 to water then poured the runoff back into the rest in the bucket. The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. Well pretty good week I would say, the only issue is we dint really see the total amount of our stuff but it was still great.

9/10: The bigger one is the 2nd biggest seedling in the garden. The small one has great form and should catch up eventually. I'll prob transplant them in several more days. 9/11: I waited to long to transplant them and they have root problems to some degree or another...too wet for too long. I transplanted the bigger one into a 3 gallon pot and the smaller one into a 2.30 gallon pot, and observed about 50% brownish roots on the bigger one. 😕 I powdered the planting holes with myco, tricho, and other goodness. I added two Mars Hydro 150w lights, and a 60w 6500k LED panel light since they are all spread out now. The average CCT is still a little over 4800k, even though the Mars are a little warmer color temp than the Viparspectras. 9/12: Between the root problems and the transplant, they looked horrible, so I sprayed them with BoomBoom Spray today and will do a good root drench tomorrow with BushDoctor Boomerang. They looked better by the end of day, but still have a ways to go to get back on track... 9/17: I fed them boomerang only twice this week, and gave also them kangaroots yesterday. They are both looking strong and branching well. The smaller one is catching up quickly now. I'll prolly flip to 13/11 with emerson effect in the next couple of days.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

The first plant was only about 9 inches from the top of the pot to her main cola tips, so she yielded like 12 grams 🤣🤣 The second was much more full bud, alot more of it as well. It's a gorgeous plant and it's crazy to see how dark it really is, everyone that sees it is kind of star struck for a second.

The first week of the 12/12 cycle went without any problems. The scrog is going fine and I've done some pruning & defoliation underneath the screen making it easier to water them. On day 40 (5th day of this week) I spotted the first pre-flowers. I gave them tapwater with Plagron nutrients once this week. The rest of the week I gave them ph adjusted tapwater every other day (Ec 0.46 - ph 6.1 - 1 liter each/48h) The cobs stayed at the same height and power as last week (43 cm/17 inch and 188 watt – DLI 28 – PPFD 648) On the last day it got a bit brighter again with the cobs at 40 cm/15.75 inch and 208 watt. I figured nothing could go wrong with 50% amber / 50% milky trichomes. Harvest day, Medical Mass: Huge buds and no traumas but got bud rot because of too high temps. The best I've ever smoked. Harvest day, Pineapplex Express: Got an early trauma when transplanting but handled it beautifully. Potent smoke. Pretty satisfied for a first grow, and I have a lot of changes for my 2nd grow!

Finished week 2 of flower. I have been inspecting every single leaf for PM and have found a few spots, but quickly spot treated with solution. I have learned that PM is a SYSTEMIC disease and the spots on leaves are a symptom of an already infected plant. So the best thing I can do is keep the symptoms in check by spot spraying and its working! Only a few burned leaves as a result, but nothing like my first grow where it was widespread! Defoliated to thin out a bit and allow for better airflow. Light LST to a few of the taller stems to maintain an even canopy. Overall, I am happy with the way my 2nd indoor grow is progressing.

Following the plan, we've reached the end of week 12. Apparently, everything is fine with this girl and all the others, nothing to worry about.
