Girls are looking beautiful. had a couple dots of PM show up again. I created a foliar spray using Garlic. I crushed fresh garlic into 4 cups of water and let sit for 12 hours. I strained that mixture and added in 12 cups of water making a gallon of solution. The science behind this is that Sulphur gets extracted from the Garlic and when applied in mist to the leaves it reduces leaf surface PH therefore eliminating the spread of PM. I also increased the soil PH slightly to hopefully inhibit more nutrient uptake and remain strong ! I dont ever want to use any whack chemicals, milk, peroxide... all that seems like you may aswell throw the plant out. We are doing our best to keep up quality of bud as this is my medicine. Her pistils are beautiful white and leaves look healthy. trichome production is wild. Buds are starting to swell ! another 2-3 weeks and ill be cutting bottled nutes and stickin to dry amendments to finish them. Its a 7-9 week Flowering strain according to my source of clones. Northern Lights x Hash Passion. Ill have to keep an eye with my trichome scope and go from there i am currently Following Indo nutrients recommended doses and giving phosphorus + Calcium boost couple days after adding microbes and carbs to soil, i added 4 tbsp of Goguano Bloom and a couple handfulls of Black earth at the end of last week as top bedding. Second scrog arrives today :D very happy to get em spread further and have the comfort of fat buds suspended in the air by second scrog with even coverage 8)

Week 5 Veg Report: Croco Mutants A Quick Recap: The journey with my Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco girls has been a ride full of unique beauty and challenges. Here’s a quick look back at our progress: Week 1 (Germination): Using TheCannaKan, the seeds sprouted quickly in a controlled environment. They were then moved to Root Riots with nutrients from Aptus Holland, setting the stage for healthy development. Week 2: The first set of funky leaves began to emerge, showcasing the distinct and peculiar traits that make these mutants so special. Feeding started with Aptus Regulator, Startbooster, CalMag Boost, and All-in-One Liquid—a well-rounded blend to support their growth. Week 3: These funky beauties continued to amaze, displaying different leaf structures and growth patterns. The environment remained stable, and photos with my Nikon and Sony cameras captured their vibrant essence. Week 4: A dip in temperatures brought on slower growth, but the girls adapted well. Organic Aptus All-in-One Pellets were introduced into the soil mix for consistent nutrition, while bottom watering started to combat gnats. Week 5: Slow Growth, Unique Beauty This week has been all about patience, observation, and admiration. The mutants are growing at their own pace, but each plant’s unique beauty and dark green vibrance make it worth the wait. Environmental Update: Temperature: The cold has settled in further, with daytime temps at 18°C and nighttime dropping to 14°C. While slower growth is expected in these conditions, the plants are adapting and maintaining their health. Humidity: RH remains stable at 65%, providing just enough moisture to support their development without creating excess stress. Feeding & Watering: The same Aptus Holland nutrient solution is being used this week: Regulator (0.15 ml/L): Strengthens cell walls, helping the plants adapt to colder conditions and maintain their vigor. CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Supplies essential calcium and magnesium for strong, healthy foliage. Startbooster (0.25 ml/L): Encourages root development and early-stage robustness. All-in-One Pellets : A complete nutrient solution providing the base nutrition these girls need already in the soil. Additionally, I’m continuing with bottom watering, where the trays are filled to let the soil absorb water passively. This has been effective in keeping gnats at bay, especially when combined with yellow sticky traps. Bottom watering also encourages the roots to grow downward, seeking moisture and building a stronger foundation. Growth Observations: Each plant remains a unique masterpiece: Leaves: The diversity of shapes, sizes, and structures is remarkable. From jagged edges to rounded tips, every plant tells its own story. Color: The deep, dark green is a testament to their health and the effectiveness of the Aptus feeding regimen. Despite slower growth, they’re thriving in their own way. Cloning or Flipping to 12/12: I’ve been debating whether to: Flip to 12/12 for a week to induce pre-flowering and identify males and females, or Take clones when they’re large enough and flip the clones instead. Each approach has its benefits: Flipping the plants: Speeds up the process of sex identification but temporarily halts vegetative growth. Cloning and flipping the clones: Preserves the original plants in veg while testing the clones for sex. This method is more time-consuming but allows the mother plants to continue growing. I’m leaning toward cloning when the plants reach the right size, as it seems the most practical for maintaining momentum with these unique mutants. Photography Update: This week, I brought out my Nikon and Sony cameras again, using different lenses to capture the intricate details of the plants. From close-ups of water droplets creating reflections to stunning macros of leaf textures, the results truly showcase their beauty. Why Use a Camera Over a Phone? Lens Flexibility: With interchangeable lenses, I can adjust for macro shots, wide angles, or depth of field, something even the best phone cameras can’t fully replicate. Hello my companions. I have been very busy with work lately and have spent very little time on my cultivation diaries. Soon I will be completely free, so I dedicate every minute to my plants and make a big tent. My Neville is 15 weeks old. It's the longest auto-blooming plant I've ever grown. I decided to give him 16 weeks to live and then harvest. I also started to prepare new plants for new diaries, but due to lack of time they were standing on the window without intense light for more than 3 days. Now I'm still germinating 2 plants to start a new diary of 8 plants. In General, I have very big plans and ambitions, and I hope that everything will be fine. I can't wait to finish the main work to fully devote myself to the plant.

FLOWERING WEEK 1 - 4TH DAY FLOWERING/WORM TEA

No major changes this week but the plant is still taking 2ltrs of water every 2nd night. I have stopped giving nutrients now so it’s just getting Ph’d water. Some of the lower leaves are turning yellow as expected. From this week on I’ll be dropping the temperature a bit during lights out to help produce more trichomes and also turn it a bit more purple.

Very disappointed, thrips stunted growth and I’m debating weather to pull them out and start again.

Week 2 begins for Green Crack and LSD. Both ladies are looking happy and I increased their feed by 1 liter each. Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽 tune in next week for another episode of growfessor theatre.

11/19: they are now on just water and flawless finish. In 8 days I will chop them down. I am going to just fresh freeze them and then make bubble hash out of them a couple of days after. I am still angry about the lack of purple, but happy with the grow as a whole, despite the dramatic differences in phenos.

Started flushing last week. Next week Is the last. I'm really proud about these plants. I'll grow more times Tropicana bc Is a really good plants that grow likes a Monster. I'll do the harvest week in 10 or 14 days.

All 3 plants are adapting very well to LST, the shape its growing into have been allowing the light to reach further into the lower growth nodes and branches. I like to start bending the branches close to the main stem as early as week 3 of VEG. Now these 3 Northern Lights Auto seeds are from Sun West Genetics, they were all germinated, planted, trained, fed the same way they have been on the same controlled environment since day 1, the 3 are totally different, I know each plant is unique in its own way, but I find strange that 1 plant is taller and stronger than the other 2, the smaller one is growing weak leaves with signs of mutation, all 3 plants show signs of Magnesium deficiency, these 3 plants are sharing a grow tent with a Haze Auto from Seedsman, all 4 plants are under the same diet, the Haze have no signs of deficiencies or mutations, I guess that shows what good genetics look like. For the Magnesium deficiency I have mixed my own Epson salts into water and applied as a foliar spray, internet said the spray should be used every other week, wait 2 weeks to see results. Signs of Nutes burn, I decided to stop feeding for this coming week. The 3 NL leaves are looking unhappy, kind of clawing under, they look lifeless, I have ruled off a few potential problems such as: Wind Burn Under Watering Water PH Light Burn, just moved the QB higher to 17 inches from the highest canopy today.
