Hi, thank your for visiting my diary, more info on my setup, soil and situation in: Germination... So been doin the whole Sherlock thing with the magnifier and nope.... no trichomes amber yet.... My magnifier is just not strong enough and apparently my eyesight is bollocks or my arms are too short... On the images ( I also have onset parkinsons as it seems, thus I used a tripod and low and behold: a stillshot) the trichomes are visible. Now I have the problem that I have to go for a week in a week. Im not leaving all on (mainly no control over smell and some distrust in my own handywork compiling these lights) when Im gone. So these ladies have to hurry up now. The other problem is the cure... I have no way to monitor temps and RH when Im away so Im gonna have to find a sitter for my babies or just cut them preprime or they magically make amber overnight.... I hoped, since they were racing to the finish, that I would be in time.... So maybe we pack an extra tent for our vacation... My growtent... I have been flushing for two weeks, still the leaves and plants are vigorous and lively. Some yellowing pointy bits but too minimal.... Temsp outdoor have been higher but stable, temps in the tent never over 26.8 degrees. Humidity has been dropping last days which I hoped for. Anyone any experience with building a climate chamber for curing? Or any on the market that will do? Please check my Zambeza 3 seed give away by guessing my final result! As an update: I took some tiny larf of a couple of days ago and totally forgot about it. Today out of weed, I found the dried remains in the jar I put it in and left it. No temp, no cue, no rh anything. So I get it out of the jar to find it smelling like weed, not even hay or grass but pungeant stinky weed. I start to crumble and find it is sticky, solid, and crumbles to nice bits that crumble even further. I light up and an amazing sweet and citrussy smell comes free, it is superstrong, although still more high obviously, and supertasty, without any cure. This promises even more for the rest of the bunch. This was some underside sad yellowish larf,not any density to it but smoked ten times better than my local, round the corner dispensary weed that I smoked later that day. Even Sunshine (my partner) was amazed with difference in smell. Update 24th july: I finally saw ambers yesterday and the fact me running out of time, made me decide to start the 48 hours of darkness. Tomorrow she/they will be cut down for drying and curing. I have a humidifier and can manage temps to be a bit colder to prolong first dry as long as possible. Coming friday I have to decide what to do: keep them hanging for a full week, whilst Im gone. Or start the jarcure if drying (since its very hot and dry here lately, this might be the case) is faster. I would have loved to give these ladies another week maybe two... They were still so healthy. But I cant control anything when Im not here and this could potentially destroy my harvest or get very smelly, this leaves me no choice for now... The trichs are now at +/- 15% to 20% rest is all milky with just some single clears on less developped lower buds... I allread know she is nice tasting and potent enough. As soon as we are at the final weight I will post the harvest and we choose the winner! Another update: closer inspection revealed that the plants a/ had still lot of underside larf and b/ lots of clear trichomes. As we are near the finish I rather give them another week of light. So Ive bent all the big buds downwards to protect them from the light. I might not be able to correct the cure, but its a shame not give them another week if I can. Some will be horrified with the damage but my reasoning is simple, the big buds are done or almost, the larf still can develop into bigger buds so a late harvest supercrop and lowered the lights to 35 cm for the final push. In the harvest video we will show you the way we made the comfrey tea and where I keep it, our permagarden, introduce myself and maybe even Sunshine, the light of my life, introduces herself. Lil younging coming good towards the end of the week jus decided to send dem to flower...get a lil smoke and allow the mother to continue do their thing until cut day...other than that everything is going accordingly also got back 1 of the plants that I had sent on a breeder project she's full of pollen sack now(female chromosome only) should have some feminized seeds once all goes well...gonna double up the breed and also do a

02/07 Nachdem wir in eine neue Woche starten, kann ich auch im Zelt wieder aufatmen. Die Temperaturen fallen, nachdem das Wetter in Regen umgeschlagen ist. die letzten Tage hatten wir bis zu 39°C draußen und dementsprechend musste ich die Lampe runter regeln und die Lüftung bis ans Limit arbeiten lassen. Phasenweise hatte ich 30,8°C im Zelt. Mittlerweile konnte ich die Lampe schon wieder etwas nach oben regeln und ich halte ungefähr 28°C. Heute gab es auch wieder eine kleine Ladung Eiswürfel. - - - - - - - - - - - - - 03/07 Heute gab es eine Ladung Dünger. Gemischt aus Wurmhumus und Herbi‘s Booster. - - - - - - - - - - - - - 05/07: Um das Purplen ein wenig zu unterstützen, habe ich heute eine Ladung Eiswürfel auf den Mulch gelegt. So triggert das kalte Wasser die Wurzeln und setzt im besten Fall die Anreize (durch die Produktion von Anthocyanen (pflanzliche Farbstoffe)), lila Blätter oder Blüten hervorzubringen.

We had a mega load of rain over the last few days and sadly I lost a huge NYD to stem rot. Anyways I new February in Durban was going to be a challenge. The soil doesn't drain very well where I live and unfortunately it just got too wet for too long. All the other plants are looking healthy and I did do treatments around their crowns with some peroxide followed by fungicide (organic oils). The haze x cheese is looking epic this week, buds are getting really big. Spotted some PM on some lower branches so I cleared out some undergrowth and have been pulling the odd leaves I see. Nothing too bad. Humidity has been 100% at points. Getting awesome hints of limone as I walk through the garden. Can't wait!

🌴WEEK 6 DAY 1 VEG🌴 As you can see after defolitating some leaves to expose lower shoots to light worked out perfectly as she back with a full canopy and most lower shoots have had chance to reach the same hieght as others along with some lst & tucking with her rapidly growing new shoots and leaves tells me shes happy but i am seing a few of symptoms allong the way which i have posted (images) below I find these odd rust looking brown marks on my plant i also had found 1 leaf that looked asif it had been eaten at with this browning close by, i belive it is not pest as i have tried to inspect as best as i can and i do not see anything but i havent checked with microscope :( but im sure its not pest related another thing along my journey that hasnt been exactly how i expected is run off, im week 6 day 1 shes growing fast and seems happy im giving 3L of water at 608ppms with a ph of 5.5 allowing the coco to slightly dry before watering again when i check my run off ppms its way lower today i gave 608ppms it came out at 180ppms WTF :( if anyone read this far if you know your stuff could you possibly help me out take a look at my photos/videos and let me know what you think of my plant.. is she looking healthy.? do you know what these small problems could be? thankyou, Lets Grow!

This girl has continue to stretch and grow and now it’s starting to develop beautiful flowers even though she just started to flower they are Snow White, and what a lovely citrusy smell to it . all of my plants are suffering from heat stress and that’s because of the dry air coming into the tent as well as the light being too close to the plants creating light burn as well other than that the girl seems to be cruising around with out difficulties developing nicely and growing very tallThank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

I took 4 cuttings from my outdoor plant 3 weeks ago. They have just started showing signs of growth, I'll let them veg for 14-21 days and flower them.

Day 112 Day 69 Flower 18/07/24 Thursday So I have checked I'm seeing more amber's now and hardly any clear!! So now she is going 24hrs in dark and no added water so she will dry out more over last 24hrs. The smell is incredible. Pungent gassy ice cream smell.

I love this pheno compared to the other hard diesel pheno #2 this one has a beautiful structure, and the buds are very dense hard and sticky as hell, the aroma it's really strong and stinky, I would definitely run her again, gea seeds always provides high quality strains and seeds to the growers! Very happy about this strain. Please stay tuned until the end to see the final result of this project! 💛❤️💚👨‍🌾✌️

Did some minor defoliation, and added final nutes before flush. Although stunted in veg, the outer two smaller plants are flowering well, thickening up, and smelling dank af... the center largest plant is still dealing with some type of deficiency that's been very difficult for me to diagnose. It's still chugging along with lots of bud spots, but the kolas aren't nearly as thick and seem like they might turn out larfy. It's also drinking the same amount of water much more slowly than the other two smaller plants... kinda strange right? Ps. I kinda f-ed up the compost tea and fed it to the plants before knowing it... I let the tea brew for 72 hours and should have stopped at 48 hours... plants didn't seem to mind too much though (I don't think the center plant's deficiencies have anything to do with the overripe tea.) and don't pay any mind to my nute percentages, I can't deal with that rn 😂

Stretch seems to be over now. Starting to get a little bit frosty. Creeping along slowly but surely. Fed her plain water begining of the week and a little cal/mag. I'm away for new year so thought I'd upload upto today. Hopefully she packs a bit of weight on over the next few weeks Fingers crossed eh.
