Well it's been an awesome week :) Plants have responded way better than expected to both LST & fimming, I've got a good canopy and plenty of potential colas that are growing well and at an even level. Also, won £200 on a scratchy, so decided to invest in a better light. Went from 300w LED (true draw 130w) to 1800w LED (true draw 595w). The difference in the light is clear to see. Both plants have motored through initial training with LST and fimming without skipping a beat. I've read so many mixed opinions on topping / fimming autos, it was a hard decision to make. In the end, I decided to give it a try and find out for myself. If I'd had any concerns about the plants ability to cope, I wouldn't have done it, but if your plant is looking strong and healthy then it may be something to think about. Personally, I think there is no right or wrong, because it's probably entirely situational - too many variables like strain, genetics, environment, growing medium, lights etc to say one way or the other really. But for this grow right here? I think it was a good decision I'm extremely happy with the results. Scrog net now in place, and both girls are starting to boogy on upwards. No sign of pre-flower yet, I'm hoping they grow into the net before they start stretching too hard. Also, some weird findings from my runoff EC since I got the new light. Runoff EC has always been about 50-75 micro siemens above input. It was predictable as hell. But when the new light was installed, the runoff EC started to drop to about +25 from input... then the same as input..... and now my runoff EC is LOWER than input. Thought it might just be an anomoly, but it has now been consistently lower, every feed for the last 3 days. I'm going to post a question, but if anyone has any bright ideas wtf is up with that, let me know!! In the mean time, to all my fellow Orange Sherbet growers - hope you all have had a good week, and may your plants be flourishing.

I've brought the PPM down again and kept the pH at 5.7-5.8, plant looks great first grow so very happy, Alot of Trichomes and don't know if I should be getting ready to flush and harvest, buds still getting fatter and she's still thirsty and drinking water but a lot of amber pistils and not sure if the crystals are clear or Milky but plant looks Great, just unsure when to harvest, I've reduced nutes a little more and calyxs still fattening up, gonna hopefully start flushing at end of this week for about 2-3 days in my 4gallon bucket

📆 Week 13, 4-10 January 2024 4 January - Turned light time back 2hrs to a schedule of 14/10, and lowered light power to 50%. This will facilitate ripening by mimicking an autumn environment. 7 January - Flushed system, filled with RO water and 10ml p/gal HG FloraKleen, PH 6.2. 10 January - Turned lights off. 📑 This was the final week of flowering. It will be followed now by 3 days in darkness, giving a total of 7 days in plain RO water. This provides the proper nutrient flush and a small cannibinoid/terpene boost just prior to harvest. Which will be 13 January. She will then be followed by a 7-14 day curing process, where she’ll hang for 5-7 days until the chlorophyll has dried in the leaves, then trimmed, weighed, put into mason quart jars and burped until a RH of 62% is reached/maintained. While in this state the flower will reach its peak potency/flavor in about 30-40 days, and can last for 6-12 months. An overall interesting grow. Especially if you like the color purple. She grew rather rapidly for about 6 weeks as expected from an autoflower, then slowed down and flowered simultaniously. Buds are on the smaller side but tight. There certainly was no problem in resin development as she is quite frosty, sticky and smelly. The trichomes have purple and clear stems with milky heads, about 5-10% amber and 10%(+) clear. All white pistils have turned orange or brown. Genetics are very stable with no signs of foxtailing or hermaphroditism. The only problem I’ve had was with nutrient sensitivity in flower phase - specifically week 8. It will depend on the end product quality as to whether I will grow this strain again or not. My final update will run a few days later than usual, but will include the Harvest and Smoq review information. I want everyone to know I appreciate all the support, likes, looks, follows, mentions and speedy answers to my questions! You are all phenomenal! Muchas gracias! Vielen dank! Спасибо! Merci beaucoup! Thank you! 🍽️ Nutrient change on 4 January 🐲 Feeding schedule updated 4 January 🌊 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient Solution EC .8 at 60 degrees F 💡 Light power at 50% That is it for this week. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.

A few had issues with the 24 hrs light sa few plants were getting yellow tips resembling light burn. So I added a teaspoon of Epsom salt and coffee grounds. Looks like the plants have bounced back. That’s a sigh of relief!

Both are really shooting up. I’m noticing a real difference between using 5 gal pots vs larger containers. Planter size has a huge impact on plant size as one would assume.. But, does it have any impact on quality? I guess we will find out in a few months. Again, learning and experiments. Sooo soo hot… was afraid they would show signs of fatigue but they were good..not really trying to push dry back too much in these temps 6/27 saw signs of caterpillars and accidentally broke off an upper branch

From today I started washing with clean water without fertilizers. Hopefully purple will become even sharper. It smells strong, but it dissolves easily with a carbon filter. Without any problems, it grew very well.

This girl is stacking so nicely for someone who got very little grow time outdoors before the onset of flower. 2nd generation of shogun I have grown but never smoked, so I still don't know if its any good. LoL Something tells me this one is going to be something special. Lets see.

Can’t find anything negative to report. Summer camp is going well. All girls are in stretch and looking like they’re going to be basketball players. All are on course to be tall for auto’s. The shortest is now the tallest, the Harvey Wallbanger is at 30 inches, the next is the 91 Grapes at 28 inches and bringing up the rear is the Vanilla Fizz at 26 inches tall. The weather has been a little hotter and drier past few days so the girls will either get a drink tomorrow or the next day. *** update August 2 Day 44 Girls are about half way through summer camp and have been in stretch for the last week. Big changes have happened with the Harvey W. Now five inches taller than the 91 Grapes and the Vanilla Fizz still being the shortest at 28 inches tall. All three girls have entered flower so additional stretch should be minimal (we will see). Lights have the option of adding different spectrums for specific effects, so added some blue to see if it doesn’t slow down the stretch (I think it will). Should help tighten up the nodes as well. Watered them once on Thursday morning with plain water ph of 6.0. Debating whether or not to top dress with bloom nutrients this next time or wait until stretch has stopped . *** video update ***Update/plus video update Aug. 5. Wow!!! Girls are having so much fun in summer camp this year. They have made themselves right at home in the 10 gallon amended formula 707. Watering requirements have increased but that was to be expected and right on schedule. Yesterday watered again with 2 gallons each with 2 ml calmag/ gallon. Have been defoliating the entire time as needed and still may have gotten behind. They grow so fast. The shortest is now the tallest. Miss Harvey is the tallest autoflower that I have ever grown. She is 42 inches with the Vanilla at 36 And Ms. 91 at 35 inches. Stretch should be winding down (I hope)and bud production will take over. The soil I am positive has plenty of nutrients to go the distance but the plants are super healthy and most likely could handle a more bloom driven menu. So after some thought I will start the ladies on a weeks worth of pk 13/14 beginning with the next watering cycle (day 50 mark). That should get the flowers going good!

Still putting on girth(weight) I can honestly say this is a powerhouse of a plant fattening as quick as big autos ,I will grow it again and FIM it, it's a strain that's very forgiving, and doing great in organic soil, all mix with @Biotabs and @Ecotrive's Biosys and some @Plagron naturals, and minerals, and just water when needed. Thanks for your support 🙏

Good day, everyone!! So my DO Si Dos lady flowering time going well. I light the plant for 12 hours and feed it every day with 2L . The smell is perfect for me - northern scent of mint, citron and some pine aromas. Serious aroma= always good High effect, less stone. I think next week will be the last and I will prepare the plant for harvesting. Thanks Royal Queen for the genetic :)
