Happy holidays to you guys! 420! That's it, my first grov of photoperiod flowering and on organic substrate without fertilizer has come to an end. Today 4/20/2023 is the last day of light, it'll be in the dark for a while, and April 23 will be harvested. 14 full weeks from seed, 8 weeks of flowering. Looking at the trichomes, I'm worried I'm a little overdoing it on blooming, lots of amber heads on top, the middle and lower ones are milky. One spill this week for 6L with a little drainage and the flower stopped consuming moisture, got a little cooler in the house. Waiting for the harvest :-)

Lots of growth this week. They have all been in 2-gallon Pots and I have transferred them all to 5-gallon pots yesterday. All are doing very well. All have started Cal-Mag and Mystic Dream Blood Root.

First off I just want to say for some reason it’s not letting me change the right temperatures on my diaries ! Each time when I put it in they stay at 50. My day air stays 75 degrees an , night degrees is 70 ! Today is day 58 for all these ladies! This week has been really great ! Girls really progressed a lot , especially for one the Forbiddin Runtz, looks like is gonna finish up in a week or 2 ! Other then that they are coming along well! Made up a tea mixture of some locally sourced worm castings with Dr Earth Bud an Bloom booster, an about 2ml of Cal mag. Let that aerate for about 24 hours. Then cut the mix to a 1:1 ratio. I know thats pretty hot but wanted to see what I could start to push. Have a little rusty looking spot on 1 of the plants. Not sure what it is, i'll post some pics an keep you posted. That was week 2 I got fucked up on my photos. These included are weeks 3 an starting 4. Had some weird orange spots on 1 of the 4. Needed up clipping off in defoliation. Did some LST with some old ass plant tape. Hit it with about a 1/4 cup of marine cuisine added to my earthworm casting tea. Fed them on 8-18 watered them about a liter each 8-20. Brewing some more Dr Earth Bud & Bloom, worm castings, an molasses with rain water

Hello, readers! I'm still trying to stretch her a little bit, just to keep it's form, when she begins to grow rapidly. Even though she' s on her preflower now. This week I also removed quiet a lot of leaves (~30). The main goal here was to open all end-branches, future colas. Also I switched nutrients proportions to more flowering. It means more PK and S. And less N. Light on 100% now!

4/8 - They are doing great. PPFD at 800. Debating if I want to do CO2 this grow, because I could easily get 1000 PPFD out of this light. That means adding a dehumidifier to keep a sealed environment, but don't think there's enough of a cost benefit. Might just add more far red at lights on and lights off to try and get a little more vegetative stretch before I switch over to 12/12. Clock is ticking. Mother-in-law shows up 6/15, and I'll want it chopped by then. 4/8 - on further calculation, I'm switching to flower today. Never switched this early before, but we'll see how it goes, eh? 4/9 - prepping for vacation. Bought new 10 gal Roughneck storage container, mixed new nute mix 2:1:2. EC 1.40 with 0.3 tap water. 11ml of pH down to get PH from 6.4 to 5.8. Ditching the auto fill. Too high risk for flooding without flare fittings. Don't trust cheap-ass quick connect push fittings. 4/10 - turned off "seedling vpd mode" which kept humidity artificially high. Turned on 2nd bank of LED lights, so system is pulling about 370W with lights on, still significantly dimmed down. Turned on light cooling circ fan, which is a sealed aluminum labyrinth tied to two 4"vents. Although, almost all the heat this lamp generates is from radiation, not thermal loss of the LEDs, so the heat sink is barely warm. Lights up to 16" over canopy to allow growth while on vacation. Ppfd at canopy 800. Room temp 81, humidity 73. Auto water time is 30 sec per pot.

Growing great no problems just that I had the light a bit close and burned the tips she grew very fast and I never realised but she’s very happy now and fattening up smells great too

Moving along. Battling a couple teeny tiny PM outbreaks. Changed the set up to put the dehumidifier and heater closer to the intakes. Defoliate quite a bit, added an oscillating fan and spread things out. Seems to be all clear. Found spider mites on one leaf of this one. Haven’t seen anything since removing the leaf and treating with OG Biowar foliar spray at full strength. Also two soil drenches at full strength.

This is my first grow. I just started super duper light nutes. Like 4 ml per half gallon. Cal mag and grow big. Upgrading light tomorrow. Can't wait especially with the progress I've made with approx 215 watts of less. Upgrading to 1200W. Update: i got my light. Viparspectra 1200w
