Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. Week 2 for our Apricot from the fastbuds family All looks good and the buds are forming real quick, we continue for now with master root and master bloom, next week we start to add some more addictives Some plants had a little to much nutrients but we corrected the dosis and continue with a little less bloom nutrients! For the rest all good!!

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now almost halfway through flowering which is 4 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster last week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also switched the Medic Grow light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of last week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 44" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 40" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 tent is starting to really fill up and they are just now starting to smell. I was out of town all weekend so I was unable to make a time lapse video but I will update next week. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. Rough week, underfed & plants got real hungry, cannibalized like crazy, fed & clipped the worst leaves, they look real droopy as pics were taken just a few minutes before lights out but should recover I think. I hope to flip in a couple weeks so I added a little Bloom in the feed cycle.

Soo far I flushed twice. Run off water ppm is 290-319-328 I noticed on all three girlz, the trichomes are milky/cloudy with very little amber on the leaves. I'm waiting for more amber. Hopefully by tuesday when the soil id totally dry more amber will a appear. I purchased another 3x3 tent because I know for sure my 2x2 tent will not be enough holding room. Funny thing, I trimmed the baby buds at the bottom that wasn't going to grow much. I placed it on the side in the tent for two days and decided to roll them up and smoke it. Surprisingly, I did get a high but the tatse was a little strong.

Environmental Adjustments: Due to cool temperatures, a root heater was installed this week. The heater also helps maintain higher nighttime temperatures, improving overall conditions. Final Selection: The last selection was made, removing a smaller plant with slight leaf deformities. Although the differences were minor, only one plant was retained. Day 127. Chop day !!!! Zkittalicious #6 is my first plant without any airy or small bud !!!! Plus he will be like others in 100g range ... #2 should beat all single plant records ;))) Happy Growing !!!

I know you shouldn't really be defoliating when auto plants are in flower but I had to clear a path for airflow around the bottom of the plant because humidity is high because of the summer months apart from that she is going from strength to strength couldn't be happier would definitely grow Dutch passion again

Day 74. The harvest is near. I will start with a 14 day flush this coming week. The Trikoms sparkle like diamonds on the buds and it smells absolutely magical. The harvest won't be that great but the quality of this weed will be absolutely outstanding, I'm sure 😁✌️. Day 77. The gorilla is approaching the end, The Tricoma are cloudy and are becoming more and more milky to show a shade of amber and orange-colored spouts spread across the buds. I aim to start flushing her at the end of this week, and then give her a 10-14 day flush.
