7/7: Transplanted plant to final pot! Roots showed out of tray. Accidentally pulled a root off during transplant 😢. After transplant I top feed/watered medium with a half gallon of treated water. I mixed 2ml of Rapid Start in 1 gallon water hub. Poured half in half gallon jug then poured half gallon over medium. Added 2 gallons of water into reservoir (1st white line) to promote root growth to bottom and to begin capillary reaction. 7/8: Bumped light intensity dimmer to 30%. 7/9: Left for Vacation.... She was so fresh , when I took of the Bif Leaves, they made asmacking Sound Plant Number 2 was sitting in The Ground, I started fertilising her late( 2 weeks before Harvest), but not tooo Late She nearly catched up , in Budbuiding her Sister. A lot of rain and wind, continuously. Temps have dropped as well. I’m reading another week or two to chop this plants. Sativa dominant hybrids did the best, the Fastberry and the banana purple punch did not really develop as the other two. In specifics the cbd crack developed sizable buds, and the blue dream as well, the flowers are not as developed tight and dense as in the indoor grow. A bit of fox-tailing nothing too expressive. Minimal work, as per the setup chosen, an no extra nutes this week.

In the last week the water was freshly mixed with Canna Flush and an Ec of 0.4 in order to completely use up the nutrients in the last few days 👍. You can see it on the beautiful autumn yellow leaves :-). Before harvesting, the lights were turned off completely for 48 hours. After everything was neatly trimmed by hand, the buds were put into the drying tent, where they are allowed to dry for the first 8-12 days at a humidity of 62% before they ferment with 62% boveda packs in jars. After another 3-4 weeks in the glasses, the 58% boveda packs come in for the final touch :-). Of course, the final update comes from the fermented end product 👍. This is a test-grow of Barbarian, a cross of AK-47 from Serious Seeds with Barbara Bud from from House of the Great Gardener (HotGG) made by Mat, the head-breeder of HotGG, in Canada. I had the honor of getting three test seeds at the Cultiva-Tradeshow in Austria and could not wait to start them after I got home. The two test-plants were grown on soil under HPS and alongside my normal grow of AK-47 plants inside a big Secret Jardin tent and fed with Advanced nutrients.

Taking it slow with the veg state to develop larger, stronger plants and it seems to be paying off. I've trimmed the lower leaves at least 3 times this week. I think I'm going to extend it out at least one more week before switching to flower state. Early in the week I switched from blue to purple to allow the branches to push through the screen more. Then mid-week blue, to rebuild the fan leaves, then back to purple once I rearranged everyone into their optimal positions for capturing light. I see a lot of potential for multiple colas. Each time I switched to purple, I raised the light up a few inches to help them stretch. As noted last week, lamp distance is being measured from top of net (not top of plant). I continue to add compost tea every Tuesday, which they love :-)

8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. WENT OVER AND FOUND THE EVENT HORIZON I GAVE A LUTTLE LESS WATER TO, IN THE BACK COMPLETELY DEOOPED OVER AND DRY. I QUICKLY WATERED A GALLON. I CHECKED THE OTHER PLANTS AND SAW A COUPLE THAT "MIGHT'VE STARTED DROOPING BUT WERE LIGHT SO I GAVE ALL THE GMO'S HALF A GALLON. I WATERED THE CONTAINER PLANTS AND THE ONE IN THE 50. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY. THEY WERE SUPER LIGHT. SOME ARE SHOWING SOME HEAT STRESS BUT I DONT BLAME THEM WHEN ITS PUSHING 100° OUT. I HOPE THIS PLANT WILL PICK UP BUT ILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MORNING TO SEE. I GOTTA GO EAT DINNER AND IT WAS IN ROUGH SHAPE. CANT BELIEVE THIS. ITS THE FURYHEST IN FLOWER TOO. Hi Growmies. I hope you will all have a blessed Christmas with family and friends around you sharing love and good food. What a great week this has been. It seems they started the cycle so slowly at the beginning of the week and within a few days it had exploded with flowers a across all the plants. From base to tip on each branch of all the ladies they have sprung up with a bang. I was concerned as to how much longer they could go without flowering too. #1 Is leading the pack for production in general, closely followed by #3 but for Flower size and growth, then it has to be #2. She is a lot smaller than her sisters in girth and limbs but is not lacking in the cola dept at all. The plagron bloom products and planned effects are very evident now and i am looking forward to seeing how it helps with yield and quality now. As i have now reached 4 weeks flowering, it is time to add the product I have been most excited about trying , Green Sensation. I have known about thisnpriduct a long time but never had the opportunity to add it to my arsenal. It looks and smells great to me so I expect the girls will savour its goodness. Managed to sex out the males this week, especially easy since the girls were putting out some pre-flower pistils. Moved others around a little using my potato fork and now everyone is in a much better spacing. Bummer that 2 out of 3 were males, but that's ok! The ladies that are left will have more room to stretch. I gave them a little Big Bloom and some molasses.

Week 8 - Oct 26 to Nov 2nd Alright so upon reflection in Week 8 of my Chem-Bomb Auto diary it was not the best week but nothing disastrous 🙌 Random November heatwave got the apartment room up to near summer temperatures but the airflow was fine with an open tent + second fan. Crisped the tips a bit with the heat and upping the nutes. This advanced nutes stuff is very salty for a soil grow and even the small amounts reported above, split between the 4 plants, still end up getting to the fan leaves. Using Molasses and plain water feeds between nute feeds this stuff is still very touchy. The Chocolate Mint OG Autos are bigger overall plants with more stretch in the last week. A lot more bud sites but overall the buds are still smaller so hopefully it finishes strong and really plumps over the next few weeks. More in Week 9! Thanks for checking in!
