I checked the trichomes w. ~70X for the first time at the end of week 7 and they were clear. I checked again on the following day (day 51) and they had started turning milky so, I flushed with (with regular pH-ed water) until runoff was reading ≤150 ppm. I'm a little worried I'm late on the draw with flushing, but I'm seeing very few amber trichomes at this point. They are getting chunkier by the day! Let's hope I flushed well enough.. home stretch.

Did a bit of LST, did a bit of trimming of the fan leaves to expose the bud sites. Hopefully it won't affect her too much. Kinda regret putting her in a small pot but hey, experiments right?

Some really solid growth this week, she is pre-flowering nicely and now transitioning into flower at the end of week 4 day. At the beginning of the week I fed her some compost tea and threw some more cover crop seeds down. Gave her a small top dress of bokashi to keep the fungi happy

J’ai du sortir les deux pots potager en avant pour pouvoir étaler les plantes à l’horizontal et les éloigner de la lumière :( à défaut d’avoir une belle diversité dans la tente on aura une 4x4 couverte de têtes. Petit top dressing de Bio Bloom en complément, on centre les pots et on travaille le scrog. Encore une bonne semaine de stretch et on devrait avoir notre format final. I had to get the two veggies pots out of the room so I could spread the plants horizontally and get them to a good distance from the lights. :( We won’t have a broad diversity inside the tent but at least we will get a sea of green 4x4 feet big. Little top dressing of BioBloom, we get the pot centered and we work the scrog. A good week of stretch left and we should have our final format ready.

Week 4: Growth Spurts and New Challenges Continued Growth and Health As we move into the fourth week, the plants are showing impressive growth. Their leaves are a lush, vibrant green, and the stems are becoming stronger. The transition to the larger 11-liter fabric pots has clearly paid off, providing the roots with ample space and better aeration. Adjusting Nutrient Levels Given their positive response to the nutrients, I decided to continue with 2/3 of Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding schedule, adjusting slightly to meet their increasing demands. Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. I am waiting to start some more seeds I already have them but another tent is needed and a couple of leds, good ones. It will take a few weeks to sort and as usual I have some inspections on the house I need to try and time carefully around 🤔 I did have 2 during this grow the first was in veg luckily they grew in a closet the second was week 3 flower (don't ask) The smell didn't stink out the room like the wedding cake did so I will try and cure this as long as possible to last this as close to next harvest as possible 😅 my cats didn't eat my plants this time so thats another bonus. Need to look into getting a proper air circulation for the new tent I used a fan the whole time my tent was wide open I want to have it sealed next time so I can fully zip it closed ffs lol defo would recommend this strain but I don't think they stock these anymore 😕 I got a coupe seeds from the first plant I was right the pic of the top bud a few weeks ago you can see the seed just about forming after the branch got broken off we will live and learn 😉

On flower day 60, it was finally time. Three days before the final cut, I did a last light watering with plain water. The last 36 hours, the lights stayed on. In the end, I had around 20–30% amber trichomes. I'm super happy with the result. Trim jail was exhausting but totally worth it. The harvest is now right in the middle of curing. As for the smell: a sharp, earthy, leathery diesel mix with hints of lemon. The fuel note is, to my delight, much stronger than expected. Incredibly sticky buds. Sparkling flowers.
