So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Hello Diary. The second week of vegetation and Hulkberries is progressing wonderfully. 👌 You have grown 20 cm and the plants look happy and healthy. The temperature is slightly higher in the middle of the day when the outside temperature is also high. Sometimes it reaches 28 degrees 😎, but luckily summer is not in full swing so temperatures are acceptable. In my case, the outside temperature also affects the temperature in the box since I don’t use air conditioning for cooling. The box is located in a smaller room without windows, the temperature is not too high. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, and it varies between 55-65%. 💪 Unlike their Green Gelato roommate, Hulkberries stretch more in height than in width. The distance between the branches is much longer than with Green Gelato. Starting this week, I started adding Fish-Mix from BioBizz. So this week they will get Fish-Mix, Acti-Vera and Bio-Heaven, 2ml / lit each. Let's take a look at the activities this week: 28/06/2020. Day 10. Watering. As I wrote earlier, the food for this week is Fish-Mix, Acti-Vera and Bio-Heaven, 2ml / lit each. P. H. I regulate with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. 02/07/2020. Day 14. Photographing, watering and measuring height. As for watering, the procedure is the same as 4 days earlier. Hulkberry #1 - 19 cm Hulkberry #2 - 20 cm All in all, everything is going well for now, Hulkberries and Green gelato have almost ideal conditions and I hope that I will continue to do so. See you next week.😀

This week I turned on automatic watering 2 times a day for 10 minutes. After that, the plant began to overflow, then I realized my mistake and temporarily returned to manual watering. Otherwise, everything went quietly and calmly, since the killer is building up the root system, events and rapid growth have not yet taken place.

So she grew another 26cm this week!!!!!!! But that means the flowering stretch is coming to an end. Her flowers are starting to form nicely. They look really dense at this early stage. Can't wait to see what she's like in a few weeks.

Day 64 - flowers are so nice! - 201 watts of light a. the buds are covered in frost, this week will begin the Ripen b. added 5L of fresh spring water, ppms 900ppm, she likes 800-1100 ppm c. PH in DWC has been yellow the entire grow with hints the slightest hints of green from time to time, 6.0-6.1. d. uploaded video of grow e. like Pineapple Express, this plant will harvest a bit earlier than most of mine. pistils are turning colors fast. f. trichomes are very milky, still some clear, no amber yet Day 65 a. replaced the 5L gone in the DWC with fresh spring water b. will gradually take PPMs down closer to the 700 range for the ripening phase, tamping down with spring water for a week c. DWC has plenty of nutrients in it. d. the buds are incredibly sticky. Day 66 a. doing very well, the smell is very inenst, my carbon filter is not powerful enough to filter the smell... good thing I like the smell b. 4L gone from the DWC overnight, added more spring water, ppms down to 840 to get ready for Ripen tomorrow at 800ppm, probably 10 days or so. c. the trichomes are very milky, but there are plenty of clears still present. The pistils are turning nice colors, and no new pistils are forming! Day 67 - Ripening Day 1 - only TA Final Part (GHE Ripen) 5ml/L a. Started TA Final Part (GHE Ripen) at PH 6.0, 800ppm, she is loving it, consumed 4L overnight of Ripen solution b. I will keep the Ripen between 700 and 900ppm for the next week or more. c. The trichomes are filling fast, no ambers yet.. The buds are noticeably swelling Day 68 - Ripening Day 2 a. she is consuming 5L a day of ripening solution b. the buds are becoming noticeably larger, thanks Ripen you always work well! c. adding spring water to the DWC to top up and keep ppms between 600-800. Day 69 - Ripening Day 3 a. 4.5L gone overnight from the DWC, will top up with Ripen solution to keep ppms 600-800 b. the resin is very sticky and smells amazing, rubbing a sugar leaf and the fingers stick together Day 70 - Ripening Day 4 a. 5L gone from the DWC, topped it up with 1/2 strength ripen, ppms 800 b. the smell has overtaken the internal carbon filter and is coming out into the grow room c. she will be finishing up next week

Commencing Week 8: day 50 on January 19th Update is late my sincerest apologies. I will make it up by giving a very thorough smoke report when all is done. Otherwise all is going very well 😁😁👏👏 On day 50 I took the head off of bloody skunk. I checked trichome colors under USB microscope. At least 90% fully milky-white with maybe 5 or 6% Amber and the remainder clear. 😁 On day 55 I gave all of the plants a fan leaf trim including the remaining bottom half of bloody skunk. as I sit here and think about it I believe this will help with ensuring the entire plant ripens and matures at the same time - versus the tops being ready before the bottoms. I still plan on letting the bottoms of all these plants go way beyond the recommended time to see if I can initiate the process of rodelization. Either way I am glad to report that Bloody skunks pollenization looks like it is resulting in some seeds. (See photo). In hindsight my only concern is that because the plant finished a bit earlier than I expected the seeds may not make it to full maturity but I believe it should be okay we'll just have to wait and find out. That being said besides the bloody skunk being done just a few days early everything else seems to be right on time as described in plant profiles on company websites.👍 That's all for now thank you for your patience and attention and support and as usual feel free to leave any suggestions comments or questions and I'll do my best to get back sooner rather than later 😁

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Check out their site: www.mars-hydro.com Thank you @MarsHydroLED for letting me test it, hook them up for a great deal or info on their products! Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Thank you all for joining me again in this Orange adventure! I hope you all had great weeks, germed seeds, extreme growth and buds bursting with trichomes!! See you next week! Hug Bud PS Sunshine made her first appearance, as she promised on the Gelato 33 grow. She is still a bit camera shy, so her digital alter makes an appearance first, if you all want to see more of her and my other helpers, let me know in the comments. Sunshine will make a real appearance if yall are real nice to her.

The buds have swollen again the last few days. The trichomes are 90% milky and 10% amber 👍. This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). As always, it is put in the darkroom for 48 hours before it is harvested. There is still a harvest update and a final update after fermentation 👍. Week overview: Starting this week I will feed my lady with week 2 AN nutrients from the table (without the base solutions). I will check income ppm level and outcome ppm and pH levels to find a point when to begin feeding process (adding the base to the mixture). Also, since night 1 I changed my light panel settings and set it up to a 50% of power (enlarged lamp to plant distance to 60 cm) --------- Daily reports: • Day 1: Watered at night with a 91 ppm solution (6 pH) in and 911 ppm (5.9 pH) out. Prepared coco contain 0.2 g/kg of nutrients so it will take some time for the plant to consume them. • Day 2: In - 6.0 pH 104 ppm; Out - ??? (1l is not enough to have a flush) • Day 3: In - 6.0 pH 99 ppm; Out - 6.0 pH 741 ppm (2l looks perfect to get a drain. Nutrients from coco soon will run out based on out ppm level in dynamic) • Day 4: In - 6.0 pH 94 ppm; Out - 6.1 pH 774 ppm (2l now looks too much, I got 1l of drainage and it is more than enough) • Day 5: In - 6.2 pH 74 ppm; Out - 6.2 pH 889 ppm (I accidentally mixed 1.5l instead of 1l. That's why pH is so big this time. And still, I have a half drain back, so 1l should be just fine) • Day 6: In - 6.0 pH 94 ppm; Out - 6.3 pH 867 ppm • Day 7: In - 5.8 pH 99 ppm; Out - 6.3 pH 931 ppm (why does out pH and ppm grow? Is it bad or good?) --------- Plant Height delta: day 1 - 5.1 cm; day 7 - 7 cm.
